The workers were drenched in sweat, covered by the government issued construction uniforms. One took off his helmet and whiped his brow. He sighed and said to himself, "I don't know why, but we've been doing a lot with nuclear tech recently..."
The Raptorian Federation is starting construction on an Anti-Ballistic Missle SDI Defensive Grid to protect the homeland from any sort of NBC attack. The Raptorian Federation hopes that it will never need to be used, but it's simply a saftey step.

What exactly are the specs for the ABM system, I think we'd all like to know, it might also get more people to join you. And since we allowed you to build in our nation we deserve to know.

The Raptorian SDI System is based off tactical laser guides. Laser "turrets" target any incoming missiles and paint them. The "turrets" are small and unmanned. Once the target has been painted, a guided Anti-Ballistic Missile launched from the same unit that paints the target is sent to destroy the missile while it is far enough away from your borders to cause any damage. There is a strategic satellite that will be sent up upon the completion of the first system. This Satellite is meant to target and destroy high-altitude and space-based ICBMs.
OOC: Sorry if this is botched, I haven’t read up a lot on how these systems work by specifics, I have a basic idea however.
