The 1st Address from the Office of the Chancellor of Nueva Estrella


To the people of Nueva Estrella and to the leaders of the international world,

Today marks a beginning of a new era in the world. We, as a new nation, take our first steps into the international community. It is my greatest pride that, I, Sergio Lorenzo Garcia, have been vested with the power of Chancellor, by popular vote, and I am the first person to lead this brave new nation into the world. It is my hope, and the hopes of the good people of Nueva Estrella, that we bring peace and prosperity to the world. Today, the Democratic Commonwealth of Nueva Estrella announces our entrance to the world.

This bold new step shall begin a most intrepid voyage for Nueva Estrella. However, I feel this nation is not only able to take on the challenges and trials of statehood and international player but ready to deal with the challenges.

We firmly believe in democracy, economic freedom, the rights of all people, and the protection and service of all citizens. We have no vendetta against any particular form of government or nation, so as long as they respect the rights of Nueva Estrella and the rights of the people. So let it be known to all that we, the people of Nueva Estrella, are here at last in this world, and we intend to contribute as much as we can.

The Empire welcomes The Democratic Commonwealth of Nueva Estrella into the world. We are pleased to see that its ideals are worthy, and though we are sad that not all embrace this path, we are pleased that at least your citizens have been blessed with an enlightened leadership. The Assembly of Governors, the legislative body of Nueva Estrella has created the Commission of the State. I, Nigel Kerouac, have been confirmed by the Board of Governors as the first Commissioner of the State. Therefore, all diplomatic requests shall go through the Commission of the State. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sergei Ilyanov, First Chancellor of the Chancellory of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Chancellory of Foreign Affairs. I am also a candidate for Grand Chancellor, for I am running under the Socialist Party.

Now, Comrade, let me get to the point. The Imperial Union wishes to have relations with your nation. We want an Embassy, trade relations, the whole deal. Of course, there is a condition. We want the following to be installed as the Embassitic Guard.
