It happened without warning, in the dead of night. Only a few days after the High Admiral Imperatar had ordered a mandatory departure of all remaining Traileric citizens (Rougly 6% of the population at this point) the sprawling cities became lifeless canyons of metal, the freighters and barges that had spirited away the few remaining Trailarii having floated serenly through their slipstream gates. The Trailarii, being a resourceful people, had removed most of the primary power cells, leaving the enormous underground Singularity generators dry of reaction mass, and the databanks housed in the few military installations within the cities dry of any useful information that could be ferreted away by more primitive peoples. The only evidence that they had ever ruled this land were skyways paved with empty obelisks, abandoned asteroid mining complexes, and the derelict hulk formerly known as Corona shipyards.

More room for the choked masses of Sol's peasants.
