Today, after years of internal strife the United Ankhmeti Soviet Republics have been dissolved into anarchic states. Within two hours of the dissolution the individual states are reported to have been bought by the Weishaupt Nano-Industries multi-national corporation. With this Ankhmet has become a corporate state, in exact opposition to its previous state.
