Allanean Arms 16" Modular Carbine combines many of the most requested Bushmaster Modular Accessories for the AR Type Rifle. It is built around an A3 type Flattop Upper and has a 16" Chrome Lined Chrome Moly Steel fluted barrel with a milled gas block. This is great news, I've been looking for some good infantry weapons for a good while. I haven't seen any other comphrensive lists, info, or marketable small arms here in NS, as everybody practically focuses on missiles, tanks, and battleships in storefronts and such.

IC: We would like to note we do not own the rights on the basiic AR-15 operational system, it's a after all a generic weapon - and we do not sell the domestic production rights on the models you see here. We can however supply you not only with the rifles, but with spare parts, or with spare rifles, as you wish. We will also set up a factory/service center in your nation, if you so desire.

I am enclosing some rough sketches / specifications of what Sharina seeks in each category of small arms. Our military engineers and experts have determined that we need several categories of weapons for specialized roles, primarily for homeland defense.

1. All purpose / armor-piercing rifle.

Target weight: 3 - 5 kilograms.

Capabilities:

A. Both semi-auto and full-auto modes (Both in one gun if possible, able to alternate between either mode).
B. 50 - 100 round magazines.
C. Ability to penetrate body armor, bulletproof glass, builletproof cars and trucks, light APC armor, and so forth.
D. Range of 400+ meters if possible.
E. Accuracy assistance such as lasers or vision scopes.
F. Possibility to add on stuff, such as a grenade, anti-personnel, or icendiary launcher.

Requirements:

A. Impervious to rust and corrosion.
B. Ability to function in all sorts of weather and terrain, let it be tundra, rainforest, desert, or temperate terrain.
C. Able to fire normal bullets and armor-piercing rounds.


2. Mini-Gun / Gatling gun.

Target weight: 10 - 30 kilograms.

Capabilities:

A. Able to be wielded by a single man, for rapid deployment.

Hopefully those weapons would be possible to engineer, design, and manufacture. Law Enforcement weapons are for my cops to use in crime fighting, riot control, taking down gangs, destroy drug cartels, etc.

I never really understood the difference between submachine guns and full machine guns. What benefits does a submachine gun have over a machine gun for example, or why should nations use both types of guns, not just one?

I'm open for ideas on sub and full machine guns, and other kinds of guns as well. :)

1A.All-purpose rifle

Codename: M16AL
Weight: 3.5 kilograms
Range: 750 meters.

The M16AL rifle has been used at one time by the United States of Allanea. While looking similar to a regular M16 rifle, it has two differences. First, it copies the gas-piston system common in AK-47 and FN-FAL rifles, ensuring great accuracy. Second, it feed 6.5mm*45mm ammunition, allowing increased range and stopping power. It is compatible with every M16 accessory on the market. In fact, 6.5mm ammunition can be fed from M16 magazines, reducing their capacity only by 2% or so. It can feed from magazine of every size you attach to it. Therefore, it can double up as a law-enforcement rifle as specified by Requirement 5.

Codename: AA-2000 Special Intervention Rifle.

The S.I.R., a development by Allanean Arms based on the Steyr IWS-2000, reduces the weapons calibre to 12.7mm, from the original 15.2mm - making it significantly more portable, while not reducing capability against light armor and equipment.

A Micro-Uzi clone re-chambered in .45, the Gamad is more of a pistol than a submachinegun, and will dodge about on full-auto fire. At the close ranges of a handgun fight, a Gamad is, however, ruthlessly effective.

4. Codename: Triple S [Sniper Special Silenced
Weight: 5.7 kilograms
Range: 1,000 meters.

This weapon is nothing more or less than a silenced version of the fabled Remington 700, feeding the bigger .338 Lapua Magnim round from a detachable magazine. While it is impossible to completely silence such a big round, the Allanean Arms silencer, costing about $200 on its own, manages to prevent heavy hearing damage to the shooter and, if fired from an enclosed position, makes the rifle near-inaudible from it’s target range. The weapon itself costs $1,500

6. Shotgun

Codename: Reaper
Weight: 5 kilograms

A bull-pup version of the famous SPAS-15 shotgun, the weapon mounts all common accessories. While it is impossible to modify it to pump-action fire, it is very compact, and versatile in close-quarter combat.

Thanks for the guns and such. I read the article about the gatling gun, and I have come up with a couple of ideas on how to resolve those problems with a man-portable gun. The gun itself can use a tripod to resolve the recoil and weight problems during the firing phase, while the battery devices could be mounted within the tripod. The reason I was looking for an man-portable gatling gun is to provide a powerful machine gun capable of piercing a lot of armored targets, and cut down those multi-million man armies that appear to be standard with NS warfare.

If you have any alternative to the gatling gun, I'm game, as I'd like some type of rapid-fire armor-piercing machine gun that would have the capacity to tear up enemy infantry, and mechanized infantry (like APC's and armored Humvees) that a Gatling gun is capable of doing.

OOC: The truth is that gattling guns have very limited anti-infantry implementatio at those kinds of rates of-fire, as they are made to be used from fast-moving aircraft. On the other hand, I recommend the tried and tested weapons, the fully-automatic grenade launcher and the heavy machinegun.

I have a quick question, I've been thinking about this for a while. Are railguns feasible for infantry any time soon?

I've seen some possible small scale experimental railguns on the web, and I've heard about a couple of railguns in video games, with bullets that can go through walls or something. That would be useful in penetrating all those crazy tanks with 2 feet thick armor and stuff that almost everybody in NS is apparent on building.
