AWC's main goal is to pressure younger nations to stop development of WMDs. It will reach its goal by using economic and diplomatic methods. In no case, unless the openly say that it is for offensive reasons, will AWC use military pressure or methods to subdue or deter the younger nation (nations under the 100 million mark). Using force would make AWC another imperialistic alliance under the name of Anti-WMD. Assistance in conventional weapons production, donations, investments, supplying of regular arms, and helping them organize a powerful army, navy, and air force will be methods applied by AWC. Using these methods will ensure younger nations find that older nations are not looking into imperialism and are actually trying to help.

Guidelines:

-AWC is not a mutual protection pact. It is designed to disarm younger nations of WMDs until they are at least 100 million.
-AWC members are highly discouraged to use military force against said nations and will be expelled if they do unless for a good reason.
-If WMD war occurs, AWC will take the side of the nation that didn't fire WMDs first.
-AWC will only come to the aid of member nations if they are under WMD attack only.
-This is not an imperialistic club or bullying club!

Joining AWC:

To join the AWC their are a set number of requirements that must be met:

1. You must have a population of at least 150 million. Ensures no n00bs get into the organization.
2. Nations must be able to donate money or have military equipment they can donate to smaller nations in exchange for their end to WMD programs.
3. All nations must activaly presue a peaceful resolution instead of a militaristic one until specified.

Methods:

The following methods will be used to presuade younger nations from obtaining nuclear weapons:
-assistance in conventional weapons production
-donations
-investments
-supplying of regular arms
-helping them organize an army, navy, and air force

No MILITIARY METHOD will ever be used!

AWC Structure:

AWC will be run by all the members. Every 2 weeks, a sumit will take place that will discuss possible threats or nations with WMDs. Here we will gain information on which nations must be payed special attention to. After the sumit, voting will occur for each situation to get involved. All members will be able to vote. To represent AWC interests, all nations will elect one Supreme Represenative that will do what AWC wishes them to do.

it sounds like an intesting idea, and however interested the United Kingdom of Azazia is in reducing the amount of newer nations with nuclear warheads, the political establishment in the government would never allow the disbanding of its own nuclear deterrant force, in the range of thousands of nuclear warheads. given that position, i say the best of luck to your organization and i wish it well

I think all small nations throw their weight around a bit, but nothing serious. Sure a few incidents but it isn't that big of a problem. However we shall not stand in your way, and if the AWC ever does anything Leafanistan will remain neutral unless it is a grave injustice.

I've editted the rules to allow any amount of WMDs for member nations as that will discourage many people from joining.

Types of WMDs: No operational units, although a nuclear bomb has been developed, just not put into production.

WMD Programs: Currently debating whether to boost spending to the nuclear program, or to build a set number of nukes and then stop production. More likely to just place tactical units around the nation. All together, less than 30 units would be constructed under this plan.

Following the horrible nuclear devastation wrought on so many nations during the Saharistan War, the Democratic Republic of Halberdgardia adopted a strong nonproliferation stance in its foreign policy. We, like you, seek to stem the flood of nuclear weapons flooding the international black market, and to keep young nations from using them irresponsibly. The United Sovereign Nations of Southeastasia would like to join the Anti-WMD Club.

Axis Nova cannot in good conscience support the disarming of lesser nations, leaving them helpless against larger opponents who can threaten them with WMDs with no chance of retaliation, and thus regretfully will not be joining this organization.

Axis Nova: Actually were looking more now at doing background checks for storefronts that are selling WMDs. I've had a couple of storefronts come and ask me to have the AWC do background checks for customers that buy WMDs. So were moving away from disarming countries to helping avoid WMDs falling into the wrong hands.

Destroy the larger nations who prove to be too irresponsible to have nuclear weapons simply because of the fact that they are attacking smaller nations. Problem solved.

While this is kinda a ressurection, if this club is still operational, I would like to apply to join.
