OoC: I've been thinking about doing this for a while, and I've finally gotten round to it. Basically, it's an RP set in Cobdenia's capital city Port Sir Richard and perhaps another couple of cities with a kind of Sam Spade/Phillip Marlowe feel. Lots of chain-smoking men in trilbies and trench coats and blonde femme fatales, that sought of thing. Basically, I'll be a Cobdenian private detective, and I need about five others to be spies, and perhaps someone whose embassy can be robbed or whatever.

I'd have no problem playing the part of a spy.

You can rob my embassy. It's guarded by 18 Military Police, however, so I'll leave you to determine how. When you work something out, T-G me. I will work out what part to roleplay.

The idea I've got in my head is that something gets stolen from your embassy (you decide what, or perhaps we never find out what exactly!) by a foreign spy. So you try and track it down. Unfortunately, several other governments/gangsters/baddies want it too.
My character ends up getting involved by accident. I might need to play two characters. The detective and some Cobdenian freelance spy.

That's my idea at the moment, although it may well change as the RP goes along!

I vollunteer myself, if I am approved to play the part of a foreign spy, to play the role of the embassy robber.

EDIT: In this RP you will be able to RP a Cobdenian minor character (maybe a contact or a fifth columnist or something) you might come across. Just not anyone major!

Right on! I get to act like Sam Fisher and break into a heavily guarded building in stealthy fashion! Just let me know what information you need about my character.

Just describe him when we get to the RP stage (I'll start a new closed thread; I think it's irritating having to negotiate a lot of signup bits before getting to the actual RP). I think its more fun when everything is a bit random.
But remember, keep it 1940's (so he can't have been a jet pilot or anything!).
I'll post relevent maps and photo's etc in this post when I get round to it!
