Emperor Alaric Tan'it is pleased to note the nation of Xeraph has reached the 3 billion mark in population. The infant, born three days ago, is a healthy, full-blooded Xeraphian male by the name of Valtanus, has been given, by Royal Decree, a full scholarship to both the University of Tanith and the Imperial Military College when he comes of age.
In addition, the Emperor has announced the populations of four of the Empire's subject-nations has reached the 1 billion mark. These nations, along with the other five subject-nations of the Empire, bring the Empire's total population to just over 8 billion.

The heads of the Empire's largest subject-nations stood before their liege. Ghengiz of the Black Katanas, Vlad of The Grey Phoenix, Sethanis of The Grey Legions, and Ricala of Auralinia bowed their heads in unison. Alaric Tan'it, Emperor of Xeraph, stood with his battle-sword in his hand, and descended the steps from his throne.
" My loyal subjects and my dear friends. On this momentous occasion, it pleases me to honor you with the highest acclaim Xeraph has to offer." As he touched the sword to both shoulders, he continued. " I hereby declare that you be Princes of the Empire, co-equal in all things." He glanced sideways at Vlad, then spoke. " Yes, I know that you are already a Prince of the Empire. Let's just say that you are Chief among equals, eh? Somebody has to keep this motley bunch in check......"
They all laughed and cheered themselves and their Emperor.
