General Notes

Hello to all the nations of the world! The nation of HailandKill is opening up an program for embassy exchanges, trading partners, direct alliances, as well as non-agression pacts. We are not a huge, older nation, but we feel we can offer our assistance and aide to the older nations, and as a growing power on the world stage we would like to play our part.

All embassies will be set up in the congressional region of the capital of HailandKill. Everyone is welcome to participate in our embassy program as we wish to start friendships and alliances that will better serve all; We do not discriminate against any nations. We also wish to have embassies in other countries as a part of this exchange. As part of an embassy exchange in our homeland we ask that no more than 50 armed guards be present in an embassy on our homeland at one given time, and no hardskinned vehicles, such as tanks, be present what so ever.

We also offer many types of trade products availible, and we also would like to offer these availibilities to the world. Allies and nations involved in non-agression pacts with us are the sole benefitors of trade, and unless you are a nation on friendly terms with us, we ask that to be involved in a trade with our nation, you come to friendly terms with us.
Some raw exports we have to give to the world are: Natural Gas, Petroleum, Lead ore, Copper ore, Gold mines, Uranium, and more. We also contain many strong industries that we can offer goods from. Powerful industries in HailandKill include steel manufacture, arms and bullet manufacture, information technology manufacture, and many strong mining companies.

Alliances
As our nation grows it is comforting to know certain nations we have become friends with will be there to back us up, should trouble arive at our doorstep. For a direct alliance, we only ask that you tell us abit about your country, as we do not know every nation. All allies will be defended in times of war, and we only ask this in return. We are a very loyal nation, and can offer alot to our closest allies.

Non-Aggression Pacts
The only reason we have these, is to broaden our trade horizons. This is self explanatory, and nations under these pacts will not direct agression from our nation, but should hostilities be commenced against us by these nations all trade shall immediatly cease, and hostilities will be returned upon in kind.

As this nation progresses certain views may change and some allies will not agree with us on certain policies, whether internal or abroad. In response to a situation like this we will consider you a nation of non-agression, rather than lose any services between our nations completely. Thank you for your time.

The embassy we offer you has adequate room for a staff of 60 to conduct the affairs to which they are tasked. The embassy will also be able to accommodate a security presence of 25 personnel. Their is a helipad located to the rear of the complex.

Ambassador Hannah Weir along with her staff of 81 people, including diplomatic personnel, lawyers, and a military advisor along with the force of 40 DPU (Diplomatic Protection Unit) personnel are all waiting to be dispatched on your confirmation. As a matter of Trade I will be appointing a Team led by Alissa Kent, from our Department of Trade & Enterprise, to asses and coordinate a Trading Treaty between us.

Now, to address the terms of trade more specifically and answer your questions. Trade agreements between nations significantly lowers tariffs, and access to more ports is granted. Nations without trade agreements, or alliances, are restricted to certain ports, due to lack of whole trust, and those nations are also looked upon with suspicion. Another impedement of a lack of a trade agreement is that nations without an alliance, or agreement, goods are subjected to a more rigorous search for anything that may be dangerous. Signing a trade agreement may benefit our nations by the use of trading other non-military goods, such as surpluses of crops. The decision, of course, is wholly up to you, and I hope this trade matter does not impede diplomatic relations. We look forward to any future relations and await a response

We would therefore like to propose a free trade treaty which would remove all tarrifs on goods travelling both ways, and allow goods to be traded freely through any port or airport. Taralkea is a new, rather small nation, having only a population of 62 million. We go by dynasties, currently being ruled by the Rementan Dynasty. The empire is used to oppresion, but a recent illness in the current emperor, ZoulI,
promises to change that, as his first born, ZoulII, has been exiled, and his younger brother Tesk is now heir to the throne, who unlike most of his family, is campassionate to his people. We ask that the Imperial Republic of HailandKill act in good faith in all of their dealings with Mer des Ennuis. Currently, Mer Des Ennuis is in the process of drastic military reform, and is looking for allies to guarantee its saftey during and after this time of transition.

If an embassy its to be set up, we request that, as per standard Mer des Ennuis Military facility construction, there be a minimum kill zone of 50 meters from the compounds buildings. This does not need to extend to the outer perimiter, and would not (obviously) include the main entrance to the embassy. This is the standard template for a high-security diplomatic installation/arms depot.

Embassy staff will number approximatly 200 non-combatants, with a rotating staff of 75 guards (25 of which will be unarmed at all times). These men will be equipped with Fabrique Nationale FiveSevens and Steyr Aug A1 rifles. In reserve (should riots break out outside of the embassy) will be 25 less-than-lethal guns, 25 General Dynamics M312 Heavy Machineguns, 5 Javelin Anti-Tank Missle Systems, and 5 Starstreak Missle Systems. In turn, we expect any embassy you build in Mer des Ennuis to conform to the same sepecificaitons.

We will be sending 2 CH-47 Chinook Helicopters to HailandKill, one for our diplomatic staff and another to transport anyone from your government to and from our embassy. Are nation is a large somewhat peaceful nation we are located in the region of DMZ. I have an alliance with 11 people so far and 2 on hold including yours. We have a strong Military and are growing stronger by each day.
