A710 Modern Assault Rifle

Introducing the infantrymans new best friend, the A710. This remarkable piece of military engineering encorperates mechanics to give this weapon the power and durability of a Kalashnikov, with the accuracy of an M4 at short to medium range. This is because of the unique rifling, that spins its 7.62x39mm cartridge in a double helix to achieve a velocity equal to most Colt Assault Rifle varieties
Effective Range of Fire lies at a comfortable 500 metres plus, and with both the rate of fire at 500 Rounds per Minute and a staggered clip size of 60, This weapon packs close range stopping power that rivals a combat shotgun.
At 400 metres, it is accurate to within 6 inches of aiming without fail, and it has already been adopted as the Assault Rifle of the Concremian Army. Built out of solid Mahogany and Hardened Lightweight Alloys, this becomes usefull in close combat, where swinging a normal fibreglass M4 or Berretta Assault Rifle would snap it in half, there are no such frailties with the A710.
Its overall length is 816mm, with a weight of 3.6kg, with a gas operated rotating bolt mechanism. Muzzle Velocity is a good 960m/s, and a full magazine weight of 2.3kg.
Modes include, Full Auto, Semi-Auto and 4 Round Burst Fire. Forward Ejection and an ambidextrous safety catch provide exceptional ergonomics for both right and left handed users.
