The Democratic Republic of Halberdgardia is a tiny, pleasant nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The medium-sized government devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Commerce receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 11%. A small but healthy private sector is led by the Trout Farming industry, followed by Door-to-door Insurance Sales and Arms Manufacturing.
Voting is voluntary and the police force is on a recruitment drive. Crime is moderate. Halberdgardia's national animal is the Halberdgardian falcon and its currency is the NorAm dollar.
Halberdgardia is ranked 135th in the region and 110,049th in the world for Smartest Citizens.

Our king is most pleased with the results our initial diplomatic efforts are acheiving. What questions do any of our esteemed guests have of our nation?
The United Kingdom of Azazia welcomes the opportunity to expand its knowledge of foreign cultures in the attempt to bring further peace and stability to the world. With that aim in mind, the Kingdom extends to the people and government of North Ulster the opening of diplomatic relations and the hopes for a fruitful friendship that follows.
To that end, the capital city of Imperium welcomes your goverment to establish an embassy in our diplomatic quarter, adjacent to the river. The embassies are former mansions from our time as an English colony and they provide their inhabitants with splendid views of the river and the nearby mountains.
I sincerely hope this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship between our peoples.

We would welcome an embassy exchange, you can bring up to 100 foriegn personnel and up to 40 military units, and we shall send 2 ambassadors, and an Elite Republican High Guard unit (12) in a Pelican dropship to your nation once a location for an embassy has been established. You are encouraged to visit our storefront (my signature) and help arm yourself.

The Emperor of Xeraph sighed and slapped his knee. " Another new nation. Seems like there's a new one cropping up every couple of days. Ah, well, we were young once. Offer them the standard embassy. Oh, and by the way....you said Ulster, right?"
