To All Willing Nations:
Due to increased internal pressure on behalf of the citizens of Novgova, I hereby offer the opportunity for business from foreign nations into Novgova.
Therefore, major renovations are going on to accommodate new businesses in our shining city, Petrovice, including the new addition of a maglev train system installed just two years ago. Petrovice, home to the highest percent of college-educated people, is a perfect area to bring commercial business. Many financial and commercial companies exist here. Recently, technology firms and a personal sense of scientific triumph and competition have turned Petrovice into a mecca for all technology companies, making the city comparable to a Silicon Valley.
The city has been divided into sections for ease of deciding which sector is best for your company.
Riverside- The city’s most beautiful district, it is located along the river that splits the city into two. All of the buildings, mostly old pre 1960-1970s buildings, have been torn down to accommodate newer, state-of-the art buildings and new businesses. New banking and financial buildings are already being built, and 4 buildings for telecommunications, broadcasting, corporate headquarters, and 5 –star hotel are already in the planning stages. These pieces of property are typically the most expensive, being located around the beautiful landscape around the river that includes cherry blossoms and other beautiful and exotic plants and its vast infrastructure.

Downtown- The city’s biggest commercial district, it is located primarily to the northwest of the Riverside District, and does indeed border it. Most of the city’s (and nation’s) skyscrapers are located here, the highest being 72 stories tall. A variety of businesses are located here including, banking, real estate, television and radio, investing and brokering, technology, and other commercial enterprises, such as clothing stores, electronic stores, cafes, restaurants, hotels, and shopping malls. The country’s largest stock exchange is located here, as well as the country’s only world trade center and it also houses the corporate headquarters to the three largest corporations in Novgova. Second most expensive are for real estate.

Historic District - The city’s oldest district. It is located south of the river, and borders some of the river and the Riverside District. Contains many newer buildings, but many buildings are pre-1940s in design, including art deco influenced buildings and many ornate and grand historic office buildings made out of marble and limestone. Buildings from as old as 1523 can be found here as well as the immense and grand Palace of Justice, a marble behemoth representing the wheels of justice and the inevitable demise of a criminal, considered to be one of the most ornate buildings of the world. Because of the historic value of the buildings, prices are the third-most expensive in the city.

Embassy Row- One of the smallest districts. It is located south of the Historic District. Despite its name, the district has little to do with diplomatic relations, since most of them had moved out when Petrovice ceased to exist to be autonomous from Novgova about 100 years ago. It is known for its award-winning landscaping and many old buildings that flourish. It has recently been home to the city’s newest Maglev station. Real estate here is the forth highest, and is moderate enough that it can be bought buy successful small businesses.

Red Square- Located to the east of Downtown and north of Riverside. Despite its name, the name Red Square is only a remnant of the Communist regime that faltered about 20 years ago. Yet no statue of Lenin, Stalin, or other Communist figure ever graced this city, nor did any red flag or any Communist symbol, because for some reason, the city never allocated the funding to do so. (The city was strapped for cash a lot in the past, like most of the others, because most of the tax money was spent increasing the economy and well being of the capital.) Yet, being closer to the Industrial region to the north (though not bordering it), it has existing rail lines and a maglev station. Fifth highest real estate prices in the city.

Bohemia - Founded by immigrants, Bohemia had originally been one of the poorer districts in the city, until the 1960s when a new wave of trendy neo-Urbanites transformed it into rich, expensive place to live, that includes mansions. Most of the high class residents live in this part of the city, and it is indeed mostly residential. It does include a sizable commercial sector and boasts a new shopping mail/Maglev station. It also holds the main bus terminal.

Industrial District- Holds the heavier industry in the city. Located to the far north. Manufacturing and other industry is present, as well as much of the power and water infrastructure. Due to stringent anti-pollution laws, the industrial section is not as polluted as most others its size.

Why Novgova?
An advantage is that there is no competition from outside businesses and that there is an expanding market for goods that internal companies cannot provide. Novgova is (or was) a mostly isolationist nation and thus Novgova has relied primarily on its own vast amount of resources and internal business structure to survive. Yet despite this, Novgova’s ports are some of the busiest in the world, exporting goods to other nations. The nation’s infrastructure is fully capable of handling any industry or commerce. Massive highways connect major cities, and international airports can be found outside of any significant city or industrial area. There is a large growth market and with a huge population, employment is almost never a problem.
So please come today! We offer no tariffs and only 1.5% Profit Tax if you take this deal and it is better to take this offer, than have to have your companies pay more in the future.
We hope to hear from you!
(We’re also handing out embassy space in the capital, Lipany, if you want to swap embassies.)
