Early today, Members of the S.S. Gestapo stormed five apartment buildings and houses in the suburbs. Five criminals were arrested, all of them had commited acts of animale cruelity. One had beaten one dog to death with a bat, the other had poisend a dog with bleach, and the others had shot over one hundred kittens with pellet guns to death.

After a short five minute trial, they were sentanced to death(which was televised all over the country). They suffered the same fates that the innocent animals had. The Goverement expects Animal Cruelity to drop over night.

The Republic of Verghastinsel commends the actions taken by the Tocrowkian government. Animal cruelty is a permanent problem in most countries, and it is only with overwhelming force that it will be curtailed.

The Republic wishes to state that, in accordance with the views of a multitude of nations, Shoobans are counted as neither human, nor animal. They are simply Shoobans, abominations in the eyes of God and even Science, and we don't care what you do to them.
Also, the hunting of animals is not prohibited within Verghastinsel, provided unneccesary cruelty is not inflicted. Hunting with dogs, therefore, is illegal in the Republic, but hunting with .458 Elephant Rifles is not. We suggest that the Shah, in his infinite mercy, aim for the head.

Shoobans are not counted in this, and in addition, no "hunting" animals are counted in this either. This only protects "pet" animals such as dogs and cats.
