Jamal Carl Rusman captain of the oil prospecting ship Divine Water. Prepared for what he knew was going to be a long voyage. 3 months ago the government had declared that the country’s oil wells where almost dry. And had held a massive meting looking at alterative power sources. And had decided that the only course open to them was to send out a search ship. So jamal’s boss had phoned him and told him to get his but in gear get the ship ready. And set sail for the open sea.

After 4 months at sea one the scientists rushed in to his cabin shouting we’ve found it we’ve really found it. Jamal grabbed the intercom and told the bridge to send a sat message back to Mistalinam saying that they had found a large deposit of oil.



Back in the governmental building

Jack was sitting at his desk when his sectary handed him the satellite message. After reading it twice he grabbed the phone and called for a press conference. To announce the Mistalinam’s oil crisis was over.

"i am here to tell you all that a very large depostet of oil has been discoverd. and that we have estimated the it will last tell the turn of the next century. we ar currently drawing up plans for a large oil extracting plant in the area.

Jing Fai Cai Minister for energy in the Empire of Ato-Sara studied the press release that Mistalinam had made. He was intrigued, Ato-Sara to had oil problems and this looked to be just what it needed. Maybe the two countries coould come to an agreement?
The Minister turned to his computer and fired off a message to Mistalinam.

Admiral Jia Long read the report quickly.
"Ah this does seem to be a problem, but then there is always plan B." The minister for energy shifted uneasily.
"I would not like it to have to that."
"I know , i know. No one does, but what has to be done, has to be done. You see what I'm saying?"
"Yes but we can't do it anyway, for starters we don't even know where the damn place is!" The admiral grinned slightly.
"Well if they accept that won't be a problem much longer now will it." The minister gave the old man a withering look and turned to leave.
"I still don't like" He called back as he exited the room. The admiral's grin remained.
Still smiling Admiral Jia Long called his secretary on the intercom.
"Juo darling, would you be as so kind as to call Colonel Fui up please?" There was a sweet awnser of affirmation and a few minutes and a shot of whisky later the aforementioned Colonel strode into the room.
Standing at six foot three and piecing brown eyes that constantly flicked around the room, Colonel Fui Gi was a heavily muscled body builder whose whole life revolved around being a battalion comander in the Jade Guard.
"Colonel Fui Gi reporting for duty sir!" The old admiral ignored this greeting and the perfectly executed salute that followed it and took another finger of whisky.
"At ease Colonel and sit down." The Colonel relaxed slightly but looked at the plush leather chair indicated as if it was a metre long metal spike. "Suit yourself Colonel. Anyway now down to buisness, i trust the arrangements have been made?"
"Yes sir, though requistioning the fuel was a difficulty. All units are ready to go within four days." Another smile cracked onto the old man's face.
"Good, good. Pity the fuel took so long though." Thinking about it for a bit the admiral allowed himself a silent laugh at whole sweet irony of this particular event.

The Ato-Saran delegation arrived at the Mistilnam airspace borders in their luxury Gulf-Stream V jet.
"This is Alpha Seirra two five to Mistalinam tower we request permission to enter Mistalinam airspace and also request to know which airport we are to land at."

Su Fi shifted uneasily in his seat behind the ambassador Guo Ji. The coming engagemnet was putting him on edge and this was something he didn't need for carryong out his mission.

Miss Sma was greeted coordially and they followed her into the conference room. On the way Su Fi was on the lookout for anything that could help him.

Sma stoped in front of the confreence room doors and turned to her secutery and said

Su Fi glanced at the folder as Miss Sma led the delegation into the conference room.
When the ambassador and his aide went and where seated he asked himself to be excused to visit the lavatory and slipped out of the room closing the doorbehind him and quickly flicked through the folder untill he found what he wanted. Taking out his micro camera he snapped some pictures of the satillite photos before following the signs to the toilets and re-concealing the camera.

When he got back into the room he apologised while the ambassador asked Miss Sma what Mistilinam would request in exchange for oil.

Ambassador Guo Ji looked startled at this demand.
"But that is outrageous, we might as well buy the damn stuff off you if we did that! No we will not accept that offer, but we will counter offer to pay 23 bilion for right to drill for oil in the region."

The Ambassador picked up the glass of water on the table and sipped it, glaring harshly all the while at the Mistilinam delegation.

The Ambassador scowled and got up.
"Well if that is the case I can see no reason for these negetations to contiue."

Siganlling to his retinue Gou Ji stormed out of the room and to the front of the building where th limosene was to take them to the airport.
Su Fi felt a great tide of relief wash over him as they exited the building . Soon his mission would be complete.

On the flight back to Ato-Sara Su Fi went to the back of the plane and secretly caaled his masters at ASIA head office. Transmitting the infomation he had gathered, he finished his assignment and breathed a sigh of relief now that it was over.

Admiral Jia Long looked over the satalitte photos that the ASIA agent had found.

"Hmmm, these will be very useful indeed. Now we know the location of these islands then we can... how should I put it... ah yes, 'secure' them for the future generation of Ato-Sarans to live prosperously." The iold man looked up from the file. "Colonel, you have your orders, secure these new lands for the greater glory of Ato-Sara."

Colonel Fu Gi executed a sharp salute and marched out of the door.

The next day the three battalions of jade guardsmen that had been trained and selected for the mission loaded up into their transports and started their long journy. Meanwhile a small expeditionary force of ship prepared to get underway.

amung the oil tankers and cargo ships docked at oill island harbor where some of the most prestigious ships of the line. to name a few Gunboat Diplomat, Steely Glint, Attempted Justice and the towering battle carrier Tartarus. an attack by sea on this island would be suiside

jessica jumped on to the back of the quick mover VETOL trasport that was making its hourly trip betwen Tartarus and the island military base

Four massive AN-225 transport planes advanced in formation towards the island chain still darkened by the cloak of night. The lead plane radioded in it's heading to it's wingmates and began a long lazy turn round the chain and over the north-eastern most island. Just before it reached there however, massive doors opened in the rear of the fusalage, exposing it's cavernous interior to the freezing night air.
A single light blinked green and quickly and proffesionally a whole company of jade guard paratroopers leapt out into the air. Using the cover of darkness and H.A.L.O. jump techniques they hoped to avoid what radr coverage there was on the island.
Once they all had regrouped, the company spread out looking for unsuspecting guards while over head the transport plane wheeled around for another pass.

In the control room of the heavy cruiser Steely Glint a red light lit up signalling that the Ladar had detected lots of falling objects coming from some larger objects at high altitude. It took the computer a full second to summarise that the large objects where AN-225s and the air defence operator 1 and a half seconds to realise that they were under attack. He shouted, “Take that you mother fuckers” and hit the weapons free button. With a roar the VLS lit up sending four of the deadly sky lance AA missiles rocketing at each AN-225. At the same time the ACIWS started attacking the paratroopers with deadly accuracy. The raptor 35mm chain guns firing non-stop. From a distance it looked like the deck of the Steely glint was on fire.

At the island command base the control computer started directing combat teams at the areas that had the most suspected enemy forces in.

As the rest of the troops dropped in gun fire and rocket launches erupted from the port on the main island. One An-225 exploded in a fireball as two missiles homed in on it.
The rest of the transports swerved and dodged, releasing countermeasures and heading at full speed away from the islands. One suffered a major hit that tore off a whole engine pod before wheeling round out of control and crashing into a ship in the harbour.

As the troops parachuted to the ground ACIWS fire sent a few falling to their deaths as the radars locked onto their chutes and filled th fabric with holes.

Captain Juo Kan of the first comapny ordered his men to spread out and elimate resistance. Quickly the Guardsmen where engaged in fire fights with scrambled Mistilamian Marine combat teams.
Outside the main Radar and communications facility on the north east island The Captain's platoon and a platton from the third company trade fire with Marines defending the complex. Stalemate looked like it had ben achieved when aroaring engine was heard and a Howler light tank moved up the road it's 75mm auto cannon making a heart beat doble tap rythem as it blasted away at fortified positions.

On the Main island three platoons of Guardsmen and an air droppable silverback MBT where sieging the gates of the harbour. The Silverback's mighty 100mm main gun obliterated the gate and rolled forward firing while Jade Guardsmen covered behind it and advanced.

Troopers with 'Gator' rocket launcher took up positions and readied to fire on Guard towers.

Two black mamba rapid attack helicopters lunched from the Tartarus and started attacking the silverback with Zulu laser guided ATGMs

Orbiting above the island was a vampire stealth plane and inside it the weapons officer smiled as the bomb bay doors opened and a longhorn air to ground missile dropped down towards the main gate of the radar complex

In the harbour one of the destroyer’s superstructure exploded as the AN-225 ploughed in to it. In response the two heavy cruisers activated their Ladar,s and started blasting any unidentified target they could lock on to

In the oil refinery Master chief Jessica Mako claimed to the top of one of the towers and peered through the sight of the light infantry sniper rifle that she had brought with her and pulled back the slide with a metallic snap. It was time to cause some serious pain

The Gator armed soldiers fired at the guard towers while the tank advanced even further into the harbour. Gaurdsmen had just begun to start clearing out buildings including the contol tower when two attack helicopters popped up from the deck of a cruiser and fired off msiiles towards the tank, one veere away baffled by the silverback's ECMwhile the other slammed into the front right track pod turning it into a hunk of twisted metal. In vengeance the wounded tank swung it't turret round and fired a 100mm round at one helicopter and the other had three Gator rockets fired at it.
Meanwhile mortar teams had set up in the tree line and were begining to bombard the decks of the nearest cruiser.

Outside the radar facility the Howler light tank had just blown away a fortified marine position when it erupted into flame taking some nearby men with it.
Screaming for covering fire from the second platoon Captian Jou Kan led a charge of the first. Heavy machine gun fire and rocket proppelled grenades peppered marine positions as the Guardsmen flooded into the complex.

The fighting around the refinery had intesified as marines in covered positions picked off Guardsmen from afar. While The Jade Guards had almost cleared the ground area of enemies marine sniper and heavy weapon teams kept them pinned down.
Colonel Fu Gi strode through this carnage killing all who opposed him. The towering man held his carbine in one hand while he ripped apart nearby marines with a hail of 9mm caseless shells. When he reached the cowering forms of the pinned fourth platoon led by lieutenant Ma leung he covered behind a low concrete wall. Turning to the lietenant and shouting over the gun fire he took contol of the situation.

"Whats' the problem here soldier?" The leiutenant ducked as a bullet pinged of the wall sending shards of concrete flying everywhere.

"Sniper sir, up in the tower!" spotting the glint of a rifle up in the tower the colonel grinned and turned round again. Pointint to two sargeants he spoke in an authoative tone

"You get you squad and follow me, you maneuver round and keep that HMG nest busy. The rest of you give some covering fire. With those words the colonel stood and sprinted to the tower followed by first sargeant's squad, one man was hit in the chest by a bullet and he fell forward but they still kept running. Once they got to the tower the colonel without breaking step leapt up onto the ladder and started climbing up. The rest of the men followed his lead.

The combat ships in the harbour started to leave when a mortar shell landed on the steely glint and obliterated one of the RAM launchers and started a fire.

All around the island marines started retreating to the evac points taking any civilians they could find with them

Jessica sat on the tower and aimed at the most appealing target she could find and pulled the trigger sending the enormous 12mm APFSDS round spinning towards the enemy below. When she started to reload she herd the ladder vibrating so she stood up and tried to peer over the edge of the gigantic vent tower but a gust wind caught her and threatened to throw her off. So she grabbed her rifle and smacked a fresh magazine in to it .

At the harbour gate one of the attack helicopters dogged the main gun of the tank and unleashed 4 Zulu missiles at it the second helicopter took two rockets to the tail and spiralled in to the dock side

The remaining helicopter's missiles slammed into the tank's turret tracks and hull obliterrating it. In response a team of Gator troopers took aim and fired back at the helicopter. Meanwhile Jade Guardsmen swarmed all over the harbour complex securing buildings and the perimeter fence. The Motar team re configured their sight and let off an other volley at the retreating ships.

At the radar facility Juo Kan's assault had got halfway into the buildings when the marines started to pull back. Chasing them out of the complex the Captain set up a perimeterwhile the radar facility was secured. He also sent three squads up the trail to the SAM site before finding a quiet part of the complex to report in.

Colonel Fu Gi stealthly crept up the reamining few meteres of ladder, signaling his men to be quiet. Peeping over hte edge he saw his target a female marine sniper was firing away down into the refinery buildings where the rest of the Guardsmen were. Quietly pulling himself further onto the platform he reached out and swept the Marine's legs from under her. He then clmabered up onto the platform and made sure she was unconsious while the rest of the squad appeared. Turning round he caught the sargeant's attention.

"Set your sniper up here and watch the prisoner, i'm going back down to secure the complex." The Guardsman nodded and the Colonel jumped back down onto the ladder and when he reached the bottom he opened a call from Captain Jou Kan.

"Sir we have secured the radar facility with some losses, the enemy seems to be retreating. Also be advised there is a stealth aircraft operating in the area and we can only get intermiitant contacys on it. My men are in the process of aquring a SAM site to cahse them from the skies." The Colonel smiled, things were going well and the cowardly enemy had no stomach for a proper fight.

"Good work Captain, carry on and keep me informed." Fu Gi closed the channel and opened a new one to Major Han Guek the man in charge of assaulting the airstrip. The Major's voice carckled over the earpeice.

"Sir, the enmy are putting up a lot of resistance here, they al seem to be retreating to this point and won't budge." The Colonel frowned this is where they must be going for an extraction point.

"Don't worry Major pull your men back and keep the bastards in place, we will make sure thwy saty there untill we can bring our full force to bear, Gi out."

Fu Gi looked around the refinery complex where his men where now running around securing and saw an abandoned 4x4 next to a storage tower, beckoneing to two guardsmen he got in an gunned the ngine while the took up the gunner and passenger positions.
Roaring out of the main gate he deove towards the airstrip, along the way refering to the satillite picture for directions.

Patrick franken the pilot of the attack helicopter saw the Gators coming and pulled back on the collective and sent the helicopter in to a steep vertical climb. While his gunner activated the 35 mm rotary cannon and hosed the area with hot dog sized slugs of metal.

Jessica woke up to find that her hands and feet were tied and there was a man standing by the ladder with a sniper rifle. She looked around and saw her sniper rifle was exactly where it had fallen. hanging by the shoulder strap on a bolt that overhung the vent. She looked up and glared at the sniper.

The weapons officer in the vampire couldn’t believe his eyes when the HUD told him that the island defence forces where in retreat. He turned and said to the pilot “shit there taking the airport.” The pilot simply shook his head and slammed the after burners to full military power, armed the werewolf cruse missiles in the rear bomb bay and headed towards the airport.

In response to the mortar volley the wounded Steely Glint turned one of its huge 16 inch guns towards the dock and fired the explosion of noise rolling across the island

The attacks helicopter's bullets swept across the harbour, punching fist sized holes into the concrete ans eviserating a squad of Guardsmen caught out in the open. A Jade guardsman with a Gator launcher braved the horror to snap off a shot at the flailing helo and aimed the sppeding missile directly at the rotor hub.
The haevy cruiser's shells slmmed into the treeline, knocking over trees and blasting craters into the dirt, one unlucky motar team took a direct hit and were obliterated in the blink of an eye.

At the SAM site the Guardsmen had secured the area and technical experts were preping the equipment for activation. When it was ready the search RADAR was fired up and began to sweep the skies for the Mistilinamian plane, while on th launcher a deadly Sky Lance missile sat waiting to carry out it's evil deed.

Patrick saw the flash of the missile out of the corner of his eye and smashed the stick to the left flipping the million dollar helicopter in to an invert then right side up but what he hadn’t counted on was how low he was after the invert. His helicopter smashed in to the side of a warehouse the rotor blades snapped off and the cockpit and fuselage landed in between two large generators. He shock his head and surveyed the wreckage he then looked down and saw the his gunner wasn’t going any where a large support beam had landed on the forward cockpit and crushed it flat. So he unbuckled his restraints and hoped out of the wrecked helicopter.

The pilot of the vampire saw the threat screen light up just as they got to the airport. The weapons officer picked out two light tanks from the carnage down below and released one of the cruse missiles programmed to drop SFWs on the tanks and surrounding area

Jessica reached down and extracted the small knife from her boot and hiding it between her hands began to cut the rope around her hands

The Jade guardsmen gave a cheer when the helicopter went down. The area was almost cleared and the enmy ship had departed the port. The men went about securing the harbour and buildings.

At the SAM site the radar operator saw what had earlier been an unidentifiable, intermittant contact similar to a low cloud, turn into what looked like a strike fighter, most likely a stealth bomber that had just opened it's bomb bay. The search radar locked on to the contact and fired off two Sky Lance missiles at it.

The assault on the airstrip was going well now that the two Howler light tanks had arrived, their powerful 75mm autocannons blasting through fortifications and buildings alike. The perimeter had just been breached and Guardsmen had flooded in firing at enemy positions when a shcreeching jet could be heared from above then a sonic boom as two small object wipped over head. Moments later the burning hulks of the two light tanks illuminated the early morning darkness.

On top of the vent tower Sargeant Cao Lang studied the captured enemy Marine carefully, as his men scannned the complex for enemies. Two suddden explosions made him turn round and look through his binoculars towards the airstrip where the fighting now seemed to be going on.

Jessica slipped the knife trough the rest of her bonds and upon noticing that all of her guard’s attention was else where she hurled her knife at the nearest one then grabbed her LISR-34 and smashed it in to the next ones skull. At the same time she pulled the guards hand gun out of its holster and empted the clip at the last guard

The pilot of the vampire screamed as the huge anti aircraft missiles exploded sending shards of shrapnel in to the stealth plane shredding the engines. The weapons officer was killed instantly. But the pilot lived long enough to aim the burning aircraft at the SAM site

The burning plane and it's trajectory showed up brightly on the Radar screen at the SAM site, quickly relizing what was happening the liutenant in charge of the platoon at the site screamed at hnis men to run for cover. Moments later the burning hulk smashed through the treeline and plowed into the SAM vehicles. The ammunition and fuel detonated sending a huge fireball up into the aiir and incinerating the surrounding vegetation.

At the airstrip the Colonel jumped out of his 4x4 and sprinted over to Major Han Guek.

"Report Major!" The major looked up from his cover position while his troops continued to fire around him.
"Sir, we have taken heavy losses but are forcing the enemy further into the complex. I estimate another ten minutes and this place should be secure."
"Very good Major, keep going and get as many prisoners as possible for interrogation. Where is your command vehicle? I need to uplink to CSC." The Major pointed to a Schreecher IFV in the mouth of the tunnel firing out.
"Over there sir, thank you sir!" The Colonel nodded and sprinted to the tunnel while Guardsmen continued their furious assault on Marine positions.


Guardsman Ju Ki stared in horror as the female marine smashed his seargeant over the head with a rifle and then turned towards him. She drew a pistol fro the dead man's holster a drew it up. Two sharp craks and Ki stared down at his bloody hands and the gore pouring from the holes in his uniform. He thought of his parents and the girl he left behind, memories dlashed before him and then all was black.


Captain Juo Kan scanned the grassy fields before him, the blades where turned gold by the rays of light that reflected of the dense morning dew. Signalling to his men he began the cautious advance down the road towards the rifinery complex.

Jessica saw Captain Juo Kan and his men approaching. So she dropped the clip and replaced the APFSDS rounds with DURAM. She brought the rifle to up and snapped all ten rounds off in quick succession pausing only to acquire new targets. She then clipped a Caribbeanina to her belt and dropped down the inside of the tower. When she got to the bottom Jessica opened a maintenance accesses hatch and ran down the under ground tunnel to a locked heavy steel door and opened the door to armoury 2. and locked it behind her.

In the airport Captain Samuel Hages and what remained of the marines under his command executed their escape. It started with 4 humming bird Unmanned combat/Scout Helicopters lifting off their cradles and spraying the Ato-Sarian positions with their 50 cal machine guns. Then the marines rushed in to the quick mover hanger and 8 seconds later three quick mover VETOL transports blasted out of the hanger. Samuel ‘s quick mover stopped activated its 20mm cannon and hosed the tunnel entrance before making its best speed towards the retreating Tartarus.

King angelos was in his study when an aid rushed and handed him a piece of paper the king stood up and looked down at the piece of paper with an expression of shock on his face. Mistalinian people where dieing the very people he had sworn to protect. He picked up the phone laying on his desk and simply said “whatever it takes”

Advancing cautiously ans scanning the surrounding area the Guardsmen had gotten halfway to the complex when three men went down in an instant, the rest dived for cover and frantically looked about for the source of the shots, Captain Juo Kan snapped his head up as he heard a sixth shot. He looked back at his cowering men and steeled himself.

"They are in the Refinery!" Looking around he noticed a gully six meteres to the south which should be invisible to the sniper. Motioning for his best squads to follow him he crawled to the gulf and ran down it's length to the perimeter fence. The fence was high and topped by barbed wire but an the bottom in the concrete was a large airvent. wrenching this off he ordered one squad to stay and guard the entrance and the other to follow him further.

The small helicoters mowed down several Guardsmen left in the open with their deadly 50. cal guns. Some of the marines retuned fire but found it hard to hit the small objects dancing arond the complex. Seeing this the colonel ordered the Screecher IFV to advance out of the tunnel and begin firing it's 20mm cannon at the tiny aircraft.

Samuel pulled his hand held computer out from its pouch and saw that one of the humming birds had been destroyed and an armoured vehicle had come out from the tunnel. So he ordered the UC/SHs to attack the APC.

Out at sea the Tartarus started transmitting a complete report of what had happed at the island

50 cal. bullets from the minni helicopters impacted on the hull of the IFV some bouncedoff the hardened shell while others buried themselves in the armour or even cracked the strengthened plastic. Undettered the IFV targeted another of the small aircraft a n let loose a flurry of explosive shells.


The Captain crawled out of the ventilation duct and into what looked like an underground maintenance tunnel. Hissing pipes and heavy cables covered all the walls. Advancing forward the came across a ladder to the surface. Splitting his small force up he told half the squad to go up and find the Guardsmen that were at the complex, while he and the other went further into the maintenace acsess ways.
The smaller group of men advanced further down the tunnel until the sound of a large door slamming shut was heard, turning they went in the direction of the noise.

In the control tower of the Tartarus Samuel watched as the two of the remaining humming birds went down he ordered the last one to break of the attack against the IFV and attack the guardsman on the other side of the airbase

Jessica ran the short distance to the armoury control room. In which an alarm was going of some one had removed one of the air vent covers. And the motion detectors had found several objects moving towards the armoury door. So she activated the armoury defences, which consisted of two 50 cal mini guns out side the small access door and 4 huge 75mm auto cannons mounted in a quad turret outside of the main entrance

Captain Juo Kan and his maen advanced down the tunnels covering each other when a burst of 50 cal. fire wounded one man. Quickly taking cover he spotted two automated turrets at the end of the corridor firing at any movement.
Juo grabbed a grenade of his bandolier and threw it round the corner before yelling
"fire in the hole!!"

At the airfield a group of gaurdsmen were advancing towards the contol tower when the small drone strafed them with MG fire. Finding what cover they could they retuned fire but found it hard to hit. before one of the Guardsmen fired off his Gator at it.

Jessica herd a muffled boom from out side the door. On the way to the control centre she grabbed a GPLIR-16 from a rack and slapped a one hundred round clip in to it. She saw at a glance that the mini guns gad been destroyed. And from this she summarised that she would not be alone for long.

The humming bird (now under human control) ran out of 50 cal DUAP rounds at the same time the rocket fired. The controller pulled back on the stick and dropped a missile decoy flare right in to the centre of the group of men. At the altitude it was at the flare would keep burning long after it hit the ground

The troops screamed in agony as the burning flare seared their flesh. The Screecher's MG tracked the desk sized helicopter as it puuled away and let rip with a deadly burst. The Gator rocket after momentarily losing it's target began to track again.

Down in the tunnels Juo left the rmaining Guardsman to to treat heis wounded comrade and then spying an accces way leading off to the side, ran down it to see if he could get to waht was on the other side of the blast door.

Samuel Hages watched as the feed from the helicopter went blank. He sat down and prayed that there was no one left on the doomed island.

Jessica ran to the front of the armoury and began loading supplies, weapons ands ammo in to the back of a jeep. She stopped and stared at the control centre one of the screens was flashing a message at her. It simply said that she was going to have company a lot sooner than she would have liked.
