Short History
In the system of the Core Worlds, those worlds loyal to the Empire, was a small if not entirely insignificant system. The Borain System. The system itself held only three worlds, two were mineral rich which the third was a veritable jungle world. The system also held a branch of the Blissex Corporation, the creators and builders of the Emperor's Fleets.
Before his death at the Battle of Yavin, Grand Moff Tarkin put the system under the command and governship of Captain Vespasian Khan. When the Emporer was reborn and looking to rebuild his fleet he promoted Khan to the rank of Vice Admiral and then left with most of the systems ships while leaving Khan behind to govern the system.
During the events of the resurgence of Grand Admiral Thrawn, Khan kept himself quiet and chose not to associate himself with Thrawn's designs and was largely overlooked since most knowledge of the Borain System was lost with (Clone) Emperor Palpatine.
Since then Khan has kept himself loosely affiliated with the warlord High Admiral Teradoc, keeping a firm grasp on the Borain System and rebuilding his own fleet and manning it with the old Imperial veterans and the new cadets of Borain's Imperial Academy.
