PM unveils cabinet: Surprises aplenty
Now one week after the CLP elections, and with one to go until the Senatoro elections, the debris has settled and the Prime Minister thusly released the figures who will form his new executive branch (excluding the non-elected PCIC director, Nicolae Teodor Costica, and the head of the Senatoro, yet to be elected/named). Prime Minister Ell announced the names of these people today at a press conference with Caposticates-in-waiting, President Mike Sarzo, Senior Vice President of Internal Affairs Nicole Lewis and Ret. Navy Admiral Marcus Patinkin, all from Sarzonia, by the PM's side.
"I have no doubt my selections in this process will be able to fulfill their duties to the abilities for which they have honed and polished the last few years they have been a part of my government," Ell said. "I also am aware that some are making big steps, I congratulate them, some going to a less-important but still busy portfolio, and some unlucky in their election bid and therefore unable to remain a part of our government. I thank the latter two categories for their hard work in serving myself and their people."
Below are those selections. Green indicates a move to a more important position, red to a less important, black refers to cabinet members keeping their portfolios. Blue refers to new entries into the cabinet.

Roberto Pasticci did not want a cabinet spot this time around; Rodrigo Nuvolumo was not re-elected.
As for Vasiliou Bandanaris, a substantial promotion has come his way, in the wake of Nuvolumo not being re-elected and thus losing the Education portfolio. He had been the Agustinate of International Relations since the forming of the cabinet after the 2000 election, replacing Amanto Farranzoma who retired from politics after serving under Santo Ragazzo and Ell. Bandanaris was his deputy between 1994 and 2000, and now Bandanaris' deputy Agustinate, Kemal Bezir Araz, a competent and fully qualified man of 41 years, takes over MIRFA.
A third Romanian has been appointed to the cabinet following SDPM Copilul-Minune back in March and PCIC director Nicolae Teodor Costica back in 2002; his name is Teodor Murco Calindara. The 52-year-old was re-elected with a substantial majority in his Ventomenisto constituency and is stocked to the brim with law degrees, the perfect compliment to the position he has been put in, replacing Pasticci as the Agustinate of Law, Order and Justice. Pasticci refused the position, re-offered by Ell, because he wanted to spend more time with his family, but he remains a senior MPP and integral part of the majority Ell government.
Meanwhile, Fabio Coperno Ferdinando and Gisele Rodriguez switched portfolios: the 40-year-old former pro-holistic and pro-natural-healing doctor from Pegrolisia, and later advisor for plant genetic and holistic medicine conglomerate PanAmerica Plants SpA has taken over the Health ministry, while Rodriguez, the impressionable, 32-year-old bachelorette from Culiacano who was an integral part of her father's wine-growing operations in the uplands near Nortopalazzo from a young age, takes over Agriculture & Resources. Although it is technically a promotion for Ferdinando and thus a demotion for Rodriguez, the two don't see it that way and were happy to be assigned their positions from Ell, publicly thanking him. Ferdinando had been in his position since 2000, Rodriguez since 2002.
