The government today announced its plans to cut army manpower by 50% and begin shutting down bases.
The targetted bases are located in the Magdha. Bases in Taliban are also being targeted for closing.
Officials are discussing whether to close Whittier bases in Africa and Europe as well. But a spokesperson did say that as soon the bases in Asia were closed, Europe would be next. Whittier has 10 million troops in the Balkans in coordination with regional governments.
The Peace and Pot Party issued a statement calling the government's actions a good first step which it hoped would lead to the total dismantlement of the armed forces.
Whittier officials said that the base in Singapore would remain open as Singapore is a territory of Whittier from the Magdha war.
