Mumbai, Kroando

In the early dawn, the city of Mumbai awakened to the sound of jets overhead. Soon after, loud explosions were heard. When the startled people ran out to the streets to see what was happening, they saw that most government buildings had been bombed. The Kroandian military rushed to see what was happening, but when they left their bunkers, they saw an unexpected sight. Over 20,000 Heavily Armed Carthaginian soldiers were already in the city, and the Kroandians surrendered without a fight. Within an hour, the flag of the Technate flew over the city hall. Mumbai, once again, was part of Carthage.

Planes flew over what was one Kroandan land, now claimed by Elephanti troops moving over the border in droves. Units out at sea were moving back to India, ready to claim more land for the glory of the Sultanate. After three hours the first troops had broken through the line, and were inside Kroandan territory. From the gap they made, hundreds of men swarmed into the enemy territory.

The line of resistance in Southern Kroando was full of holes, and the men were failing in their efforts to close the gaps. Elephanti troops attacked the rear of the line, and panic began to spread. Deathdancers, a warrior sect that honed killig to an art form, worked their way across the lines, killing the Kroandans mercilessly. The army lingered there, slaughtering every Kroandan they could find. Bodies lay fifty deep, and more were piled on until nightfall.
