While we support your nuclear intentions as sadly necessary in this volatile environment, we would counsel caution.

As a young nation, the money would probably be far better spent on healthcare, education, and simple infrastructure. After all, if the worst comes to the worst and you find yourself at war, then the small amount of nuclear weapons available would not halt many nations when their finely-tuned war machines roll across your borders. Thus, it would be far wiser to simply avoid making enemies at this stage and redirect the money into peaceful programs.

On the subject of making enemies, the development of nuclear weapons at this stage is a very good way of doing so. Your government will have doubtless read the reports of Feline Catfish. The constructio of nuclear armaments by a nation roughly the size of yours sparked off one of the largest clashes of recent times. While Feline Catfish was eventually victorious, it cost both sides many lives and large amounts of resources. Indeed, it seemed at times as if the nation was about to be destroyed. It would surely be a far more sensible course of action not to take such risks.

OOC: You may not but we do. I would suggust you back down, after all if Bob Bob comes for you nuclear weapons will not help you. It would probably result in him putting your entire population into work or death camps, rather an just provincialising you.

I suggust you focus on your RPing skills rather than trying to play hard ball with people like Bob Bob. :)

OOC:I dont know HOW you know I am supporting Willink. I never stated it officially and all those messages between us were SECRET! One more thing, it is NOT the Red Tide GOVERMENT that is selling nuclear material to Willink. It is the Red Tide MAFIA(more often known as the Heart of Armaggeddon), which is a international crime syndicate thats homebased in Red Tide.

This is outrageous! Willink is a free nation, and has right to get any weapons their government thinks they need to keep it that way. Madnestania is getting cautious to larger nations like Double Bob and merchant Guilds, who obviously think they have some right to tell smaller nations what to do. Therefore we suggest that Willink requests the membership of some alliance, like MAP (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=414012&page=1&pp=15). That pact has been made situations exactly like this: large nations giving unprovoked threats to smaller one. Madnestania is not strong enough to militarily (alone) support you, but we are willing to aid you economically, help to train your army and support you diplomatically.

HWile we do not support nuclear proliferation ourselves, the Government of Cesania does support the right of nations to choose their own path, While we do not support Willinks desicion to begin nuclear armamnet so soon after its inception, if Willink is set on this course we will provide our scientists to ensure that the armament is done safely and in such a way as to minimize the possibility of accidents and sabotage. While our scientists are guests of Willink any attack on it will be considered an attack on Cesania and will fall under the full weight of the MAP treaty (Link in sig; mutual aid pact of less powerful nations). We beg all nations thinking of attacking Willink to consider the ramifications of engendering the enmity of the MAP. Also we extend to Willink the MAP treaty nd hope that willink will sign and become a full member to further th cause of international justice and peace.

OOC: You guys don't have to worry anymore. They have been restricted to only 10 nuclear missiles in exchange for $100 billion each year from me. 10 nukes don't pose a problem to anyone. Anyways we will monitor their use so they aren't used for "non-defensive" reasons.

OOC:Besides... the missiles I provided him with are FROG-7s. Which while advanced for a nation of his size, are actually obsolete in comparison with most first and (in some cases) second world powers. Plus the FROG-7 is a tactical missile with a range of only 100-125 km. Thus they are only a threat to anyone that borders him... or someones approaching invasion force.
