The carrier group moved swiftly through the waters near the coast of the largely uninhabited land mass. Of course, it was not a standard Danaan carrier group, not making a move onto unclaimed shores. Instead, the group consisted of one carrier, two guided missile cruisers, three guided missile destroyers, two attack submarines, one ammunition, oiler, and supply ship, one amphipious assault ship, one amphibious transport dockship, one dock landing ship, one frigate, one marine expeditionary unit, and one amphibious command ship.
More interesting, however, were the civilian ships moving through the waters under the protection of the carrier group. There were several dozen such ships all told and aboard one of them Magella Kittenstouch stood surveying the line of trees on the approaching shoreline. Smiling lightly to herself, the Elven expedition leader moved back towards the members of her team standing around. "Get ready. We'll be landing momentarily."
