the nation of justanastan is building an elite shock force, designed to fight a fast, effective regional war. this force shall contain:

ARMY
4 Elite combat brigades, each containing 2 battalion of infantry, 1 battalion of armor ( M1A2 battle tanks, and APC), and one battilion of engineers

1 special operations brigade, containing 1 battilion of front line operators, 1 battalion of elite paratroopers, one support battalion and one intellegence battalion.

AIR FORCE
4 fighter wings, each containing 2 F-22 raptor squadrons, one F-15 Strike Eagle squadron, and One Aerial refuel squadron. in addition, each wing will have 2 awacs aircraft. one fighter squadron has 50 aircraft.

4 Bomber wings, each containing 2 squadrons of B1B lancer bombers, 1 squadron of B2 spirit bombers, and one aerial refuel squadron. one bomber squadron has 30 bombers.

Navy
4 carrier groups, each including a nuclear carrier, 3 destroyers, 2 refuel and suppy ships, 4 frigates and 3 attack submarines.

15 trident Nuclear missile submarines.

any nations wishing to cross train will be invited to do so.

You know your entire fighting air force can be stopped with a few small arms rounds while they are on the ground. Second your, too small for a massive nuclear carrier, and nuclear 'boomer' subs. Third, does everyone have to have the M1A2 Abrams? And Finally , a small strike force of my 10 Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (Stealthy) can put your force in a world of hurt.

your points are valid, and i do not dissagree. we are a small nation, however remember this is the military we are building, and wish to attain. as for M1A2 abrams, they are the best tank in the world currently, and thus are the most wanted. british challenger 2 tanks would also be suffecient. As for your stealty unmanned drones, a LADAR (laser radar) array will in no short order pick them up and destroy them.

however, the air force, based on your observations, will also be equipped with 1 heavy lift squadron per wing (bomber and fighter) for a total of 8 heavy lift squadrons, using C141 starlifters, C5 galaxy, and MC130E aircraft. also 1 squadron of AC-130 gunships will be added to each bomber wing.

the army shall have added to each brigade 1 squadron of attack helicopters, one squadron of transport helicopters and one squadron of reconnance helicopters.

The M1 Abrams is not the best fighting vehicle in the world of NS, infact the T-2 "Decebal" Main Battle Tank, co-produced by the Community and our Ally, the Empire of Calpe, is a better vehicle than the M1 Abrams. As for focused radar, you must have plenty everywhere to detect every object entering your airspace, and radars can be taken out by aircraft and missiles too. If you really want a war... I'll give you one.

As for your fictional battle tank, I disregard it. I use only real world technogy, as it is easier to determine the actual effectiveness of a nation in war. anyone can create a better vehical or aircraft when they dont actually have to manifacture it.

as for war, Im not interested in having to pummel you into the ground and turning your capital city a smoldering hole in the ground. I am mearly trying to state my desired military, and keep it open for suggestions to improve.

Well some RPG-7 or RPG-16s with Tandem HEAT rounds for ERA-enhanced armor should be able to take any tank out. Well, there are a few but those are FT with Electric Field armor that is irrelevant. Also what do you plan to arm your infantry with?

My AT-AT walkers can kill your M1s no problem. And I put deflector shields on them so you can't beat me.

my infantry will be armed with C7A2 assault rifles, (similar to american M4 spec ops weapons, only a bit better) secure comms, and using the Blackhawk MOLLE gear for load bearing. sidearms will be Glock 21 in .45 ACP. sniper teams will use Barrett .50 or winchester rifles in .300 win mag. 1 man per platoon will be issued the Bennelli M2 shotgun. also, the C9 machine gun will be used.

armored troops will be issued the C8A2 carbine, or Glock 21.

body armor and helmets will be composite ceramics and kevlar. camoflage will be Cadpat TW and AR.

special forces will use a vareity of weaponry, ranging from the HK G3 (and its many variations), HK MP5 (in 10mm), C7A2, Bennelli M2 breeching shotguns, ect.

Why don't you try your troops in my wargames and see how they do?

How do i build an army, and can i attack other countries?

OOC:Nice... you seem to be aiming for well-armed, well-trained, yet few in number troops. Just a few notes

For starters, alot of nationstates utilize weapons that they made up(or someone else made up and sold to them). And due to the fact Modern Tech extend from today to 2020 there are weapons that dont exist today but COULD exist within 15 years(such as the ElectroThermal-Chemical(ETC) Cannon) that are used on said custom designed weapons. These technologies make these weapons superior to most real world ones(even the Abrams, F-22, and such and such). I suggest you scout the forums for storefronts and purchase from there, you might be able to find some in the stickies(look at the top of the forum). Another thing is this, spelling properly can get you ALOT of respect on this thread. Therefore I suggest you spellcheck your messages before you hit 'submit thread'.

No, the MP5/10. Regrettably it was dogged with mechanical problems and the likes, with the change from the 9mm Parabellum to the 10mm Auto.

Interesting points Red Tide 2. I shall take into concideration your suggestions. as for spell check, i dont really care. im not out to seek respect from and unknown online community. I' m here to simulate a nation, and have some fun doing it.
