Secret IC:
"...But Mr Gleighmont, the people are unsatisfied. Opposition against are racial equality regime is growing daily. You know the stories of this Ferdinant Gregor and his compagnions. Especially the freebooters from our navy operating near Holy Panooly."
"I know, I know. He has a massive support from the white population of Guffingford. Some even whisper he wants to return to the days of nazism..."
"Not quite Mr Gleighmont, he's pro-white, but not aryanism. I've read some of the articles he wrote in his paper Die Vaderlander and he believes the native majority of the country, as well as the decendants of the slave population are a threat to the nation. Frankly I believe he has a point."
"Possibly. So far the nation is very stable and we cannot allow any eventual lapses."
"Our intelligence shows clearly something is going on. Something's planned. To be more specific Mr Gleighmont, our agents in Vastiva and Greenmanbry have picked up signals. Though we are still clueless about what they're doing, where, when and why the message is clear: they're after our blood."

The chancellor slash president of Guffingford did not know who to trust, what to do or take a decision. All the matters of the state kind of passed by not bothering him for a moment, but his ultimate authority was unquestioned. Laws were signed and ratified, military spending increased, the frequency border patrols raised and the naval yards were ordered to produce even more naval vessels for the new Guffingfordian navy. Several major new designs have been approved by the High Naval Council, led by the chairman Leonard Ynsson. Ferdinant Gregor, the unofficial yet rightful owner of the presidential seat of Guffingford. Several laws of questionable nature were also signed by the more fanatical nationalist elements of the Houses of Parliament.
Nationalist Equality Act
- The Hooglanders (Dutch settlers), Neulanders (German settlers) and the other white nationalities are recognized as full citizens of the nation Guffingford, while the native inhabitants and former slaves must carry an identification pass at all times. Their rights as citizens will be voided whenever they commit a crime of any kind.
Signed by Bleys McQueen.

Preservation Act
- All forms of culture made by the white citizens of Guffingford must be preserved at all costs; even if it means destroying artefacts or cultural objects from native/afro-Guffingfordian inhabitants.
Signed by Bleys McQueen.Perhaps these laws are controversial or even of racist in nature in other nations around the globe, Guffingford was slowly returning to a regime where nationalism and the white heritage, pre-nazism was in charge. Same idea's, different people. Militarism was growing in the government, the arms industry was powered up with yet another monstrous cash infusion and the war industry was starting to recruit new workers...

Guffingford prepares itself for an upcoming storm.

OOC: Whoops, small edit. In Vastivas (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=419051) thread nothing is marked as Secret IC, that renders all arguments against the contents of null and void. The secret IC here can be taken with a grain of salt, because everybody can see large naval works in progress, troop movements etc. The conversation between Gleighmont and his advisor is secret IC.

High Security Communique to Austian leadership

My esteemed collegue,
It has probably came to your attention that several inept NATO members are trying to make a bold move against Guffingford and Imperial Armies. We both know they will fail, but just in case I hereby request your aid in the upcoming conflict. Guffingford is already mobilized due to the small conflicts north of Guffingford, so we will be not be caught off guard. Whenever their fleets start to assemble near Imperial Armies, we must start a pre-emptive strike. Leave none of their ships afloat.

Secret IC:

Dear Johann Gleighmont, President and Chancellor of Guffingford,
you are right in presuming this has come to our attention, it is a worrying thing indeed that they flaunt so openly there intentions to preform agressive moves against us.
I am of the balif that, from the communications that my technitions have intercepted from the enermy that the main attack shall be centered upon your nation. However, after detailed sudying of the map of the Imeprial Armys region it has come to my attention that the situation of your nation within the region, and the unique nature of the region means that they should have only a few route with witch to enter your nation, all of which infringe upon other nations terratorys.
Air power should be a key factor in there defeat and thus I ask permission to station around 25 wings of Austian aircraft, 12 of bombers and the rest Hound wings, in your nation. From there we can strike out on the entermy wherever they begin to congrigate and with superior air power destroy them.
However, looking at the forces arrayed against us even the aircraft we can bring to bare upon them, though they may be able to cause horrific casultys upon the enermy, could not be enough and they may be able to reqch your shores, though with gravley reduced numbers of course.
I also ask permission place the task forces Zi'Haf, Em Deedee and Chalston in your nation and to support those forces with several legions of ASS and a few squads of Deaths Head ASS.
I await your responce with anticipation and I hope we can crush our enermy like bugs before the year is out.

They are at your disposal, and we will trust you will put your fine aircraft to good use. We can also expect an assault thru The Macabees, but they must pass through the heavily defended disputed territories, Zarbia and eventually our north-eastern and eastern Augustine Defence Lines in order to get through. "We have a report from our base in Monaco. It seems we apprehended two individuals attempting to gain access. We believe them to be spies, probably from Guffingford, though as yet they have admitted nothing."
"Oh? What did they see?"
von Rommel chewed his lip. "Probably much, and little. We are using the base to move much necessary freight, and we know they had cameras on them. Likely in them as well, who is to say?"
"So what might they know?"
"Food supplies from the regions, probably. The importation would not have been that difficult to discern, even through brief observation. At least two involved Alpine and Mountaineer units were training in this area, so we can asume their preparation was spotted."
"Continue."
He thought a moment. "Possibly not much else - food is travelling from there, and some troops, but none of the special equipment, and none of our naval assets are coming from that area's forces."

The General tapped a pencil on her teeth. "See to it, von Rommel, that they are suitably detained somewhere deep and well-guarded. If you can manage a dark hole for... you know our timetable. See to it."
"At once, my General!"

He gave a quick, military bow, and left, leaving Riva to consider the possible outcomes of this turn of events.

"No matter," she decided. "Ultimately, it changes nothing."

She looked back up at the NATO flag above her door, and considered the ramifications, the possibilities... and the outcomes.

"Commander Blouff, you are certain these NATO punks will never get a chance of attacking our soil directly?"
"Not a single chance" Maynard Blouff knew his acts of coastal piracy and his other, more lucrative operations have been cancelled. Fishkill, Munroe and Vimes are already informed and are moving their fleets to the major port cities Port Kramer and Cerfontaine, while Ynsson is summoned by president and chancellor Gleighmont himself to discuss where to deploy forces and in what quantities. This was going to be a tough battle, but nobody doubted for a moment Guffingford would lose. All over the major Guffingfordian cities anti-aircraft batteries were set up, outside the 17th century city walls built by British and Dutch colonist ancient times relive when the Guffingfordian military command ordered to station several large miltary encampments to be built, with soldiers exercising daily, and battle plans being thought out by Strategic Command.

The NATO coalition was already showing its first major weaknesses. Their inability to keep the whole operation secret from the start gave the Guffingfordian coalition a head start in preparing themselves. And because the region is already in a high state of alert due to the war going on in the Blightlands, most nations are already mobilized. So for not a single vessel flying the NATO jack has been spotted by the extensive patrols or satellite surveillance. The only possible flaw in the defence of the Imperial Armies archipelago would be Theohuanacu, but no. Nobody can get through there, it's impossible. Not a single open spot large enough for a helicopter, a very hostile enviroment for humans, uncharted areas the size of Scandinavia, cliffs, mountains, swamps. Not to mential the whole nation is littered with guerrilla forces from Holy Panooly and Theohuanacu itself, fighting a relentless war against each other - and tresspassers. Same with Holy Panooly, that nation is a true hell for invaders. British Communists tried twice but failed, Taldaani soldiers got missing and whoever doesn't know the way to survive in such a harsh climate is destined to die between the rotten leaves and canopy. A jungle so dense chemicals are useless cannot be beaten by the hand of man or shells fired by artillery. The trees are fortresses, the leaves stainless steel roofs, the mountains bunkers and the people living there seasoned fighters for their homeland, and survivors by birth.

All over the Inner Sea, and between the tiny tropical islands QRF frigates equipped with anti-satellite suites and anti-aircraft missiles patrol the shores of these foreign lands, searching for enemy activity. There are only a few beaches suited to land in Theohuanacu, and luck is on Guffingford's side: these beaches are located in the Inner Sea, away from the pacific.

The first Austian troops began to arrive, first came the 5th airwing, The Hawktails, that flew towards airbases in Suidelike Kaap, 500 planes flying in there squadron groups of 100, each group consisting of 10 squadrons of Hounds, each piolet superbly trained and experienced.

The Hawktails where some of the best Aust had, they had years of expaerince flying in the Phyrric war to defend there homeland and the vetrens knew just what to expect from there new aircraft. They landed and taxied in at the airbases, the wing had been assigned to defeat any enermy air raids over Suidelike Kaap, and they would do so until they where destroyed.

The vetrens climber out of there planes and lit there cigereets, ready for the fight ahead.

In the harbours and ports of Guffingford the first legions where arriving, task force Zi'Haf arrived at one of the principle ports, climbing off there ships quickly with the practaced manner of perfessinal soildiers, 100,000 Austian troops made up the task force, 10 full legions and it took ours for them to disenbark, but once they did the companys immidetly made there way to there position.

In airbases in south Guffingford a full legion of ASS arrived by transport plane, 5,000 elite soildiers running out of the planes and setting up camp, they would begin to dig in here and make it there base of operations.

OOC: My force management is a bit diffrent than regular armys:

Army: ASS: (Commanders rank in brackets)
1 legion=5,000 men (Commander)
1 company=500 men (major)
1 group=100 men (capatin)
1 squad=10 men (ensign)
-----------------------------
The Legions: (Commanders name in brackets)
Task force=10 legions plus supporting equipment (General)
1 legion=10,000 men (Commander)
1 company=1,000 men (Major)
1 group= 100 men (captain)
1 sqaud= 10 men (ensign)
------------------------------
ASS Deaths head:
1 legion=2,000 men (General)
1 company= 100 men (Major)
1 sqaud=10 men (Capatin)
ASS Deaths Head nortmally operate in inderpendent companys and squads, not as a full legion.

SIC: "The reich is getting nervouse"

"really? whats the latest?"

"They have information thet Guffingford, and probably the whole of Imperial Armies is about to get invaded by NATO"

"NATO? Seriously? what the hell would they want to do that for?"

"Bob-Bob is giving AMF and Pantera a hell of a fight, its pretty damn brutal. Best guess is the Reich was going to get involved, they want to stop us from helping Bob-Bob in my opinion"

"Well what are we up against?"

"Fuherer seems to think Vastiva and Greenmabary will be leading the coalition. As such Eritrea is getting a boost in numbers, if they do hit we want to be able to hit back quickly. Problem with NATO is they like their SD's. Satallite photos have picked up another one being built, my geuss is we will be up against a few"

"Im glad you came to tell me this, what of Helen?"

"Helen is being prepped and her systems are having a work over, last week the Black Steel module was installed. A few more satellites have been put into orbit so shell be far more accurate. Helens 5 daughters are about to be launched aswell, they wont be online for about 3 weeks but they will make a difference, especially in keeping carriers out of action"

"Are we under threat?"

"If they are going after Guffingford they know we'll get involved. They will come in force and we are awfully exposed. We've been talking to the Guilds for a while, they should come in handy if it does kick off. The new systems are already being tested, if they bring the fight to us they are sure going to be have a hard time"

"Thank you, now i belive we are expecting for the test to take place. We will talk afterward"

Both men turn to look out onto the bay, the water was choppy much not nearly as bad as it could get. Fishing boats could be seen returning to port to offload their catch and crew, gulls followed them and the smell of fish was strong in the air. Out in the water a large container ship was steaming out to see. The public disregarded it as just another ship setting to sea but what they did not realise is that there was no crew on board. Both men stared carefully at the ship, they knew what the public didn't. Suddenly the ship buckled in the middle, the bow and stern raised out as if the ship was folding in half. An explosion within the ship shook the sea side town nearby and people gasped as the ship was ungulfed in flames. The ship floundered for about 5 seconds before it tore almost in 2 and bubbled down to the sea floor. Above the ship there was a hole in the clouds but no one noticed this except for the 2 men, who sat and watched as rescue boats steamed toward the sunken ship looking for survivors

And by the way, if YOU know about one civvie in a bar and deduce from that "Information" that you're under threat, then I think I can safely notice notable troop movements in a dangeous nation and have a slightly edgy PM, don't you?

IC: "What're they doing now? Can't those brain-dead dog-screwing shits just shut their fucking mouths and stay out of it?!" Marcus Jones' shout echoed throughout the narrow, pannelled corridors of the cabinet offices. He slammed his fist on the table as he looked over the latest batch of low-angle satellite scans, showing aircraft of unknown origin landing in Guffingford, a nation which Jones had vowed he "wouldn't piss on if they were on fire." His cigar spurted noisome, blue-grey smoke as he snorted angrily. "Bunch of slack-jawed fucking rednecks!"

"Prime Minister, I do think we ought to handle the situation carefully," said the Foreign Minister in a tone of faint despair. Don't obliterate half the world because you're in a bad mood, damn you! "It may yet be possible to defuse this without diffiulty - or bloodshed. We don't even know what they're doing; this could be routine movements."

"Routine movements? Jones' sneer set Schützer cringing. "Routine movements! Come on Anton, that's pathetic. You don't routinely move at least a thousand troops for no fucking reason!"

Schützer held his ground. "Nevertheless, this is only one scan, and we still don't know what they're doing."

Jones stared at Schützer; the most terrifying, chilling satare he had ever seen, a stare devoid of all emotion except loathing and disgust, a face that sought naught but death to those whom it saw as being "them."

"They're the enemy, Anton. You treat them like Pit Bulls. You're always afraid of them, you're always cautious around them, and you always make yourself ready to destroy them at a moment's notice."

"I think," butted in Defence Minister Kazakov," that it would be prudent to order the nuclear and biological munitions submarines to sea on Condition Three."

"It would indeed. See to it immediately." Jones shook his head. "If those bastards want to tackle our allies, fine; it'll be the last thing they ever do." He smiled almost magnanimously. "And if not; well, our submarine crews could use the exercise."

A routein Austian satalite probe had noticed something strange happening in DPUO, of course such things where not strange, there where hundreds of false alerts everyday about enermys preparing to attack, but because of the tension this one set off alarm bells.

Force Commander Ryder rushed into the war room, "What is it now!" he barked, he had had little sleep upon his transport craft and was irritable,

"It's subs in DPUO." An aide told him,

"Why what are they doing in DPUO?" The Commadner demanded,

"t's what there not doing in DPUO thats the problem," Another aide said, "They've disappeared from there ports, it could just be routein but in the current enviroment, and with there allies, it seems logical that there going to help the enermy and a few rouge nuclear subs could cause a lot of damage."

"Okay, wire the pictures and any more intel we have on them to Guffingford, tell them that it looks like DPUO are joining the party. Tell them they have a few enermy subs on there hands."

Zalmebaai

Outside the seawalls the ships of the new Guffingfordian navy were assembling for the first exercises on such a major scale, it cannot go unnoticed by the rest of the world. The eyes of NATO are bound to be focussed on them, mesmerized. Nothing ahead of the Aasimars, Belknaps, Toryus and many, many other ships brand new from the Barrow & Spencer docks near the city of Zalmebaai, the most heavily fortified naval yards in the whole region. The anti submarine buoys floated peacefully in the rough sea, moving up and down by the relentless movement of the waves.

Watchofficer Bloemhoff watched at the azure blue sea, the gulfs breaking against the enforced hulls of the ships while the drill instructors were yelling at the new recruits and cadets, what to do in case of a surprise attack - highly unlikely but its best to be prepared for everything. You never know with those NATO freaks dancing at the will of their taskmasters in Gholgoth. The naval jack of Guffingford waved fiercly in the cool seabreeze, as Bloemhoff saw the AGN (Allied Guffingfordian Navy) Refraction, Reflection and the flagship of the battlegroup codenamed Optica. Bloemhoff returned to his quarters and began reading through the encrypted messages:

Panoolian trained Guffingfordian divisions on exercise near the Cairbary Jungle in near Redmound, Vrystaat Oos Seeland.

Fuel transports destination Austian troops at maximum capacity, organisation works flawless, perfect integration with Austian military command; coordination and planning requirements are met.

The tension in the Palace was overwhelming. Lords, Ministers and servants alike were rushing from one corner of the building to another now that the order to evacuate the building was issued. Krekar was almost running down the long corridor that separated his wing from the rest of the massive building. Many people trailed him, most were screaming at each other or into the cellular phones that were glued to their ears.

The IDDG's government officials were furious. Never has tension in the IDDG reached these levels before. Even during periods of total war, Greenmanbry was never in a frenzy of such proportions.

"Lord! Lord!" The Minister of Foreign Affairs screamed over the commotion, trying to get Krekar's attention. "What?" Krekar's loud sneer stopped the entourage in their tracks.

Ison spoke hesitantly, "We got an encrypted telegram fro-"

"Tell them to go to hell." He turned around and continued walking down the corridor.

"It is from DontPissUsOff."

Krekar froze in his tracks. What? Although DontPissUsOff was a key ally of Greenmanbry, communication between the two nations was almost severed after the revolution. They had not contacted Greenmanbry at all... for ages.

"Give me that." Krekar moved towards Ison and snatched the transmission from his hands angrily. His eyes scanned the message. Well, at least we know they are alive.

"Ison, my friend, you've seen how scary this thing has become. The only thing we can count on now... is old friendships. And DPUO has never failed us. I guess the old sod Byrnashty chose his friends wisely after all."

Krekar returned the letter to Ison before turning around once again. The entire delegation proceeded towards the exit. Ison was walking next to Krekar now, and the latter was more at ease.

"Lord, we're moving divisions. We're moving planes. We're moving naval vessels. Surely the enemy will see these mobilizations."

"Fuck them. Let them watch all they want. Don't stop the mobilizations. We have to get ready. This is a valuable investment, after all, remember?"

"Yes sir. But you will go to the bunker, right?"

"Yes. Who knows whether a stray nuke might accidently fall on this city? The bastards think we're leading a coalition or something. Our enemies have no foresight. They are dolts, Ison, dunces. Idiots. They might launch nuclear weapons if tensions increase."

"Alright, sir. Should I evacuate the Ministry of Defense?"

"Yes. Do that. Oh, and Ison..."

"Yes?"

"I want the ambassador of Vastiva with me. Tell him to come here immediately. If this does get worse, and the nukes start falling, I want to kill him with my bare hands. I will make sure he dies a slow and painful death before the mushroom clouds consume us."

Luis Astradas ran his large hands through his greying hair as his advisor, Pablo, went over the latest happenings in Guffingford.

"I am not sure what this is about, sir, but it doesn't look good."

"Big naval movements," replied Astradas, "not improving the state of tension in this region." The Zarbian ambassador to Guffingford was visibly worried about the recent actions in the Imperial Armies Archipelago.

"I also heard talk of NATO," Luis raised his eyebrow. "But I haven't heard all the details yet."

Astradas took a pack of Red Apples out of suit pocket. He fumbled into the box and pulled out a long cigarette. Putting the package back in his pocket he lit the fag and took a quick drag.

"The junta must find out about this, get it to them immediately." the ambassador took another drag. "This is a problem and we have to keep our eyes on it."

Pablo nodded. Guffingford was a fair enough place to live, but he wasn't so sure about their government. Imperial Armies had being seing great conflict lately, with the Blightland incident and hints of inter regional disputes. About this present issue, he wasn't very alarmed, he was sure it would all smooth over in the coming weeks. These kinds of things happened frequently everywhere it was nothing to get worked up about.

Astradas turned and looked out of the office window to clear his head. It appeared that the kettle was starting to boil...
