ISAF- Independent State Allied Forces

ISAF Charter(Interim charter borrowed from IADF until final charter is ratified)
Preamble:
ISAF is an alliance between nations of different ideologies and governments to unite and become a world force. In these tubulent times it is important to note that world security is more important than national security. It is the ISAF's intentions to bring together these nations in a diplomatic way and loosen tensions by promoting free trade and mutual defense. It is also noted that ISAF will only take actions which are ethnically and morally acceptable. For the posterity of all nations, ISAF will stand as a symbol of peace, hope, and light through an impenetrable darkness.
For all tasks to be accomplished, we must give something up, and in order to accomplish world security we will have to break our political and social bonds.
Article I:
All ISAF Nations are to settle relations between other ISAF nations peacefully. Use of force on another ISAF nation is forbidden unless miitary force is absolutely needed to restore peace.
Article II:
The ISAF will contribute to world peace and stability by promoting free trade, civil rights, and political freedoms; however the ISAF will not impose its will upon non-ISAF Nations.
Article III:
Each member nation shall be requested to discuss matters of ISAF terrirorial disputes, political independence, or national security when an ISAF member state is threatened. A Security Council of Three Permanent Seats and Two Rotating Seats will preside over such matters. President of Security Council will be elected every time rotations occur.
The security council only consists of active members and the elected President of the Security Council will will agree to stay in power for 1 RL month intervals, with elections every rotation (every month)
Three Permanent Seats Include:
Director of Military Operations
Director of Intelligence and Domestic Services
Director of Foreign Affairs
Article IV:
An attack on an ISAF member state shall be considered an attack on all, and military actions and economic sanctions can and will be imposed on aggressor nations. Security Council has the right to overturn military action and entreat peace.
Any conflict a member state is envolved in before their application to the ISAF will be overlooked and not considered an attack.
Article V:
A definition of an attack on an ISAF member state is as so:
*Any attack on ISAF Controlled colonies, territories, or protectorates
*On military and/or civilian vehicles belonging to an ISAF member state
*On the citizens of the ISAF state home or abroad
Article VI:
The ISAF is not a self-sufficient organization and can occasionally request for donations of supplies, money, or military equipment/personel
A Rapid-Reaction force shall be created as a first response military team. Collecting donations from member states.
The ISAF Shall not tax any nation or its citizens for any reason.
Article VII:
A General Assembly shall be formed including all member states to discuss issues of importance, to ratify the ISAF charter, and to set up commities benefiting the ISAF.
Article VIII:
An ISAF member state may resignate at any time and will no longer be considered a part of the alliance one RL day after its resignation notice.
Article IX:
The alliance shall keep record of all its members, alliance or puppet. A puppet member includes any nation a part of ISAF that is controlled by another alliance member. Puppet members shall not be allowed onto the General Assembly or Security Council.
Article X:
This charter may be ratified by a 2/3 vote of the General Assembly.
Article XI:
This alliance is an Earth only alliance, all relationships between member states to not carry over to other Earths or such RP's.
