---------------

The Universe class aircraft carrier is the largest aircraft carrier ever constructed for the Imperial Cottish Navy. It can carry a complement of 7 300 souls and a whooping air fleet of 130 aircraft, and it's endurance is only limited by the human endurance. With the capability to promote Cottish interests in all of the worlds oceans, the Universe class aircraft carrier will spearhead Cottish naval strike groups for the decades to come. A grand total of twenty-two Universe class aircraft carriers have been ordered, and already named. Complete delivery is expected in 12 years.

Thanks for the tip. The weaponry is there mainly as a last defense. I intend for each of this class to be heavily escorted by destroyers, subs and cruisers, as well as using some of the many airplanes carried for defense. But I'll remember the tip. And thanks. :)

Confirmed @ $.3 T

For best result, use it along with the Devlin and Rothsky class vessels. And remember to get the appropriate airplanes to fit it with.

If you can develope a free-standing carrier, you can greatly reduce costs in escorts. I've got one fused with a battleship, but I keep the escorts around just for the heck of it. ;)

Glad you liked the tip, enjoy!
