"Come now Yarris, Lets not embaress ourselves."
Gregory and Yarris both came forward, shaking Strikers hand.
"It was nothing old friend. Simply an act of alliance."
'Yes, but both acted beyond a mere alliance!'
Another Mole approached, with a case. As he stood in Front of the two men, he opened it. Inside there were 2 identical medals. Both had a figure, made of gold. It was a ancient warrier, with a sheild and sword.
Striker took the medals. 'For your acts, i hereby award you both the medal of valour.' He pinned the medal to Gregory first, the Yarris. A cheer rose up from the crowd...

Gregory chuckled... his chestplate was covered in medals.
"Heh... running out of room. Making up for your previous medal from us eh?"
The Emperor paced forward, chuckling to himself.
"Thanks to all of your combined efforts, the Hyacombian threat has been eliminated for good. I am proud to have such fine oficers under my command. And Striker? Nice work. And I hope Stevens rests in peace... perhaps he wasn't a lost cause after all."
"Just one more thing my Emperor. I'd like to commend our fine officers who fearlessly aided us in battle, and were willing to lay down their lives for freedom and safety."

A large gun lowered from the ceiling, and fired a beam of concentrated laser fire at the coffin. A few seconds later, the coffin had disappeared.
'That should just about do it then. Until the next time the Universe is in danger then, Gregory.'

"Ha ha ha... Indeed. Our fleet will be in orbit for a while yet-we're helping to salvage damaged vessels and rescue trapped crews... as well as dispose of the massive debris field left behind... how about we all go have a drink?"
