CALMIL - military exposition (producers of military equipment invited)
The calpian ministry of defense has decided to host a military exposition in its capital city. All international producers of military hardware are invited to show their latest/best creations. We leave at your choice what you will show in the exposition, but we ask you to limit the number of products to 3, due to a limited space allocated for this event. Airplanes, missiles, tanks, small weapons, ships, in a word anything goes.
You can also provide a link to your storefront if you have one, so that the viewers are able to buy the equipment if they like what they see.
Since this is a military exposition after all, we require that the participants provide a picture of the equipment they bring here.

F-7 Ultra light multirole fighter
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/muahdib/ultrafighter.jpg
Developed by the CALAIR military deparment, the F-7 Ultra fighter was designed with the specific purpose in mind to give the smaller nation an alternative to the expensive fighter aircraft on the military market. The fighter is to be acquired by the projected Home Defense Army, that will provide the last line of defense of the nation .
One of the requierements of the Ultra airplane was that it would be easy to maintain and cheap to operate, the cost of owning this aircraft beeing one of the smallest on the fighter market. It is also the first aircraft able to operate the new calpian anti-ship missiles, AN-1 Orient.
The F-7 is constructed of aluminium-lithium alloys, carbon-fibre composites, and titanium. The F-7 integrates modern design concepts and the state-of-art technologies such as relaxed static stability, fly-by-wire Flight Control System, Advanced Digital Cockpit, Multi-Mode Radar, Integrated Digital Avionics System, Advanced Composite Material Structures and a Flat Rated Engine.
The Ultra design has been configured to match the demands of modern combat scenario such as speed, acceleration, maneuverability and agility. Short takeoff and landing, excellent flight performance, safety, reliability and maintainability, are salient features of the Ultra design. The Ultra integrates modern design concepts like static instability, digital fly-by-wire flight control system, integrated avionics, glass cockpit, primary composite structure, multi-mode radar, microprocessor based utility and brake management systems.

T-1 Hawk - advanced training aircraft
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/muahdib/iar99soim.jpg
After intense searches on the international market, the Calpe government decided to build its own sub-sonic, trainer aircraft. T-1 is a smart, simple design, all metal aircraft, similar in shape to the well known British Aerospace "Hawk". The aircraft has an exceptional maneuvrability, enhanced by the hydraulic control system, being one of the best aircraft of its class. The avionics includes a mission computer, head-up and head-down displays, inertial/GPS navigation system, HOTAS, VHF/UHF radio. Main feature of avionics suite is a data transfer system that processes navigational information received via datalink from other aircraft or from a ground station equipped with the same system. This information is presented on a simulated `virtual radar' display in the cockpit, so that the pilot can be trained in the use of radar without a need for the T-1 itself to be fitted with a radar. For self defense the aircraft has an radar warning receiver, ECM pod and chaff&flare dispenser. The crew escape system uses a Calpe Aerospace "zero-zero" ejection seat.

AN-1 Orient antiship missile
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/muahdib/antiship.jpg
The AN-1 Orient antiship cruise missile is a subsonic flying vehicle with a conventional aerodynamic configuration featuring a half submerged tunnel-type air intake and X-shaped arrangement of wings and fins. The missile airframe is made from aluminum alloys. Its propulsion system comprises a small-size by-pass turbojet sustainer and jettisonable solid-propellant booster. An inertial guidance system controls the missile in flight, stabilizes it in the planned trajectory and leads it out onto an assumed target location. The missile terminal guidance on a target is effected with the aid of signals of a jamproof active radar guidance system. A target is engaged by a penetrating high explosive fragmentation warhead, which is exploded in response to signals of the contact fuze.
The main objective of the ammunition load increase is to provide a massed strike, which represents one of thebasic principles of combat employment of this class cruise missiles, creating the best conditions for a breakthrough of enemy air defenses and making it possible to engage a target within the shortest possible time.
To enhance the elements of concealment and surprise attack and improve the ability to withstand the fire opposition of the ships under attack, the AN-1 antiship cruise missile possesses the lowest possible flight trajectory especially in the effective zone of the ship self-defense weapons and also a small reflection surface.
The sea-skimming altitude is 5-10 meters. Owing to its high-precision radio-altimeter, the missile can skim the sea waves at an altitude of 3-5 meters at the terminal phase of trajectory. Its guidance system combines inertial guidance for during the initial flight stage and active-radar guidance during the remaining flight stage.

ooc: is this an exclusively MT showcase or is PMT/FT allowed?
ooc: i guess PMT/FT is ok...as long as they limit the models at 3...its a showcase afterall...wanna see the stuff that people designed and worked on....pics preferable...since the visitors are suposed to see the equipment in the exposition :)
The Nine Military Storefront (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=385183) will showcase equipment that is indicative of each of its three branches
For the Navy:
The Dracken class- Arsenal ship (AS)
http://www.geocities.com/jamealbeluvien/AS.gif
Dimensions: 250 m length; 50 m width; 9 m draught
Speed: +35 knots
Engine: Wuller and Farthing MHD-4 Hydro jets (x2)
Armament: 6x VLS (100 cells ea. Cruise, SAM and SAS missiles) 2x CIWS, 2x anti torpedo decoy deployer 2x anti missile SAM batteries (8 missiles ea. Reload able) 1x anti torpedo torpedo tube, 2x anti ship missile quads, 1x 4.5 in. naval gun (Supplied by license from Kaptaingood )
Aircraft: 2 variable purpose helicopters or 2 VTOL attack/defense fighters
Price: 1.12 billion
The Dracken Arsenal ship is designed to be the Battle ship of the modern navy, equipped with massive missile launch capabilities it is an unmatched fire support vessel. It is designed to be able to work with Barrier class fleet defense ships as an extra launch platform for anti missile fleet defense.
This ship Is a signifigant achievement for The shipyards at Wuther And Farthing (A division of The Nine Military Storefront), it is highly automated to reduce the crew size considerably, its high number of missile launch cells are easily reloaded with out the use of specialized ships and its highly advanced comunications systems negate the need for any space to be wasted on navigation, fire control, or targetting equipment, all oif these tasks are managed on other ships. While the American Navy has rejected an arsenal ship program, we feel that we have found a niche in the modern navy that the Dracken and larger Hydra class, and the soon to be unveiled Leviathan class can fill cheeply and effectively.
We struggled to decide what to display for the Airforce department (Shrak Aeronautics and Propulsion) but eventually decided on the VCH-43 (Goony) as our most progressive and IMpressive piece of equipment

Notes: The Goony is a truly unique aircraft, consisting of a ‘base’ that contains all essential equipment cockpit and fuel tanks, and a ‘Package’ that can consist of a heavy lift crane, a cargo section, a weapons platform, and many others, packages are constantly being designed, packages typically cost 8 to 10 million but can cost much less such as in the case of a simple cargo container or much more for a mobile command suite, some packages include extra fuel tanks, hard points for weapons and Com-int surveillance gear. A second, smaller section in the nose of the Goony is also inter-changeable; this section can be replaced with an upgraded vision system for night and low visibility flying, a targeting package for guided missiles and a multi direction mini gun.
packages cost an additional 3 million and can be made to order, standard packages are;
attack
cargo/transport
ASW
gunship
special operations

This Aircraft is the first of its kind, its interchangeable modularity enable a single helicopter to fill the same roles that used to take seven helicopters before. it has unique civilian applications with the crisis control and fire fighting modules as well as the sky crane and cargo transport modules. The Mudularity makes it easy to repair and easy to learn to use. This is truly one of the most innovative products of The Nine Military Storefront.
For the Ground Forces the choice was easy:
The Legion suite if Integrated Infantry Combat Systems
The Legion suite of integrated combat systems is the most comprehensive infantry combat system yet. The genius of the system is in the back pack. Utilizing the latest advances in load bearing frames, the pack allows soldiers to maximize their combat load, integral to the pack, and the real reason LEGION is possible, is the hub; a laptop sized computer with link points for the various ‘modules’ that make up a LEGION soldiers equipment. Each module attaches to the hub which automatically regulates each module
Standard modules;
Helmet; a custom fit light weight composite helmet with heads up display integrated into goggles. Heads up displays information regarding other modules and systems
Communications; a small module that fits easily in pack, links with speakers and microphone in helmet for radio communication, 128 bit burst encryption, multiple frequencies with a range of around 5 miles.
Coordination; also fits easily in pack, includes digital maps, GPS and IFF systems all of which an be displayed on the HUD, along with pre selected checkpoints, objectives and navigational landmarks, displays friendly troops in area and identified enemy positions.
Uniform; the uniform is woven out of organic crystalline threads that react to electronic and chemical impulses to change stiffness, color, albedo and weave. Providing limited adaptability (can change between up to three ‘patterns’ which can alter slightly, fools night sights, can change weave for climatic adaptability and can change stiffness for better protection, better movement or stabilization of broken limbs)
Boots; can change from stiff hiking boots to loose running shoes or soft soled stealth boots and anything in between.
Weapon; includes a weapon sight camera, and ammunition readouts, mouse device can be moved from belt to weapon, only AR, SW and SR weapons
Standard suite costs $50,000
HUB weight-2 lbs
Standard suite includes all standard modules and one extra battery
Current continuous battery life is 30 hours with all standard modules in use, can be set to ‘sleep’ mode for extended battery life when not in use. Uniform and boot modules do not require continuous battery use.
Optional Modules include;
Counter sniper (1 per two man fire team, each soldier carries a receiver, when highly audible weapons fire is detected, can triangulate positions of snipers or riflemen) $300
Range(range finding and targeting lasers, ladar and other systems for calibrating sniper fire or calling in fire support) $200
Officers (complete combat readout, includes all troop positions and calculated enemy positions, self destructs if bearer is killed or unexpectedly removed, also provides access to additional channels for radio and satellite communication) $150
artillery (provides ability to tap Range modules in field for precise targeting information) $100
Coupled with Mondoths primary weapons The G-11 AR, the MG-11 Squad support weapon, the PG-11 PDW/Sidearm and the SG-12 DMR, the Legion suite provides increaced survivabilty and an incredible leap in combat effectiveness to infantry in action. Its high powered communications and display systems allow an unheard of battle coordination ability that will lead nations using this system to victory well into the coming decades
After much consideration, Omzian Military Aerospace Corporation, the leading Omzian aerospace and arms contractor, is willing to send a total of two systems to the exhibition, its new B-101D Super Bombardier supersonic bomber and its new Arquebus Long-Range Cruise Missile, designed for operation from the B-101D. The aircraft and the missile, when coupled with the B-105 and B-106 (not shown), forms the backbone of the powerful strategic air arm of the Omzian Air Force Strategic Air Command, having more than 800 of such bombers in service.

The B-101D Super Bombardier is the result of over a decade of additional studies and observation of the evolving technologies and doctrines around the world. Not only an upgrade of the original, the B-101D changes almost every aspect of the excellent B-101A bomber, and transforms it to a large, high capacity, highly performance and survivability strike platform for the strategic combat of the future.
Design
The B-101D Super Bombardier, like the B-101A, is a heavy bomber aircraft designed for high-speed flights at high altitudes, into high-risk enemy-controlled aircraft. Intended to deliver a wide array of precision strike munitions, it incorporates an airframe optimized for speed, thus sacrifing low observable characteristics for greater performance. The airframe of the B-101D, like the B-101A, incorporates a delta-wing airframe similar to those of the XB-70 and the much smaller F-125C design, making use of the "folding wingtips" design to take advantage of the compression lift effect. There are two vertical stabilizers and a pair of canards, in addition to a total of six powerful PDE-turbofn hybrid engines.
However, perhaps one of the major changes of the B-101D is the airframe construction. Taking advantage of newer composites, ceramics, and advanced titanium alloys, the airframe is made drastically lighter to allow greater performance, while promoting heat resistance and strength. There is also an extensive application of RAM coatings and RAS materials, to aid in the reduction of teh radar signature. The electrochromic panels are kept for countermeasures against IR-guided weapons by "manipulating" the infrared signature of the aircraft (to blend "in" to the environment in sunny days, and to confuse IR seekers)
The offensive suite of avionics includes the OAN/APQ-229C/D ELPI radars (one facing front, and one facing rear), a development of the original which incorporates greater processing powers, better range, and improved resistance to ECM. These radars are used for both air surveillance and ground attack. The LADAR and IR systems however, are combined together in a total of two modular "Selective Sensor Stations" (3S). Like the B-105, each 3S combined a LADAR system, a FLIR system, and a nightvision camera system, to aid in both ground attack and real-time surveillance. The data collected from these sensors can be either transmitted to other friendly aircraft for ground targeting, or transmitted to other friendly assets through a secure datalink for intelligence-gathering.
The defencive avionics suite is also updated. The new system, termed UDCS-2, is complete with the Noran CAF332 radar jamming system, which takes advantage of greater processing powers and a new computer to conduct a variety of jamming operations against both surface and air radars, and has improved capabilities against LPI-type radars. The Noran CAE180 IR/missile countermeasure system is kept, though the missile warning system now combines a pulse-dopplar radar, an UV sensor, and an IR sensor into one. The LADAR warning receiver is also kept, while the radar warning receiver is improved with a new computer, which allows the constant tracking and analysis of received signals to improve the RWR's capabilities against LPI-type radars. Towed decoys can also be deployed in a total of two internal bays, while the chaff and falre dispensers has been kept as well.
In regards to payload, the B-101D can pack a punch. Though it is still unable to carry "dumb" and unguided munitions, it is now able to accept an even greater array of precision-strike munitions, such as glide bombs, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, or even drones.

The Arquebus, designed for ship launch and operation from the powerful B-101D bomber is a specifically configured missile to conduct the long range land attack function. It features a similar airframe design, with a bending body scheme and a thrust-vectoring system, while the relatively "clean" (uncluttered) airframe is constructed with lightweight, temperature-resistant composites, and is coated with RAM to reduce the RCS.
In terms of guidance packages, it features a GPS guidance system coupled with an imaging IR seeker, while the Longaxe is also equipped with a radar system for greater versatility. Datalinking can also be possible with AWACS and satellite systems, and the missiles' flight path can also be directly controlled by the launching bomber in the case of air launch, giving the missile a reattack capability when air launched. It also boasts a small ECM system consisting of a small radar jammer and LADAR and radar warning systems to counter the threat of radar or enemy LADAR-guided short-range air defence systems. During the terminal phase, both missiles will increase their speed while lowering their altitude, as they can either attack with a straight path towards the target, or a 70-80 degree dive towards the target.
MK-83GF Heavy Plasma Rifle (FT)
An improved version of the venerable MK-58EF, the MK-83GF utilizes improved capacitors, coolant systems and focusing rings to help deal with some of the problems the MK-58EF had, namely the tendency to run dry as well as the problem of suffering a critical spike in highly humid areas, which would result in a meltdown. The rifle is used primarily for dealing with enemy fortifications as well as enemy armour.

VK-7 Sniper rifle
Every VK-7 rifle is equipped with folding carrying handle and with a folding. VK-7 also fitted with the detachable rear monopod under the butt. The buttpad is fitted with soft recoil pad to further decrease the felt recoil. VK-7 can be fitted with carry sling but according to those who carried it in the field, VK-7 is way too uncomfortable to be carried on sling due to excessive length and heavy weight. It is usually carried in special carry soft or hard case. The VK-7 differed from VK-4 mostly in that the pistol grip along with trigger had been placed ahead of the magazine, and the buttpad has been placed below the receiver, just after the magazine. Additional forward grip was added below the receiver, and the scope mount has been moved forward too.

Should a link not work by clicking on it, if you copy and paste it should function fine.
OOC: Everyone is going to laugh at this one. :p They actually got one to go that fast in World War 2 as well. This isn't the biggest and baddest weapons system, but I've always thought that it was kinda cute. Hehe.
