The atmosphere was more muted this time. The System was still 'edgy' from the war, and despite the Treaty of Safugnoff that was signed two weeks ago, still had an air of neutrality about it.

However Gaians had learned to be resilient, and with the souls lost being 'reclaimed' back to life, an estimated 175,000 deemed 'retreivable', the rest far too scortched to be 'salvagable', they were then refined into an ash that the sibiko canisters would be 'fed' to represent the growth of the next generation that would take their place.

These reminders and others, such as the mostly, but not wholly recovered debris of the Battle of White Diamond/Sapphire with the Dominion, told the Gaians that there was, as Kiroval expected all along, a price to pay for their idealism. However the Gaians were 'very' determined to emerge from this event even stronger than before, and twice as determined as ever..

..hence the call for a Second Conference, dedicated to further trade, and this time, dedicated to more understanding and far better communication lines established. There was also two alliances hoped for, one with The Humankind Abh, and the other with The Planet Federation. There could be others, and the Gaians willingly kept their doors open to such.

Thus, when guests arrive, they are not greeted by massive space fireworks, and instead will see a Gaian economy in full swing, as the buisness of making up economic ground due to the war effort is in heavy throes. Hundreds of thousands of vessels from many nations, and of the Gaian Internal Commerce Fleet continue to shoot back and forth between the main planets in the White Diamond System, and all the lunas, SpaceStation classes, and the twelve Boson JumpChulip GateStation, among other 'areas' to send wares and such.

The main difference between now, and before, was the Scar of Tears, that was once a good portion of the middle continent of White Diamond. A massive grey/brown mass where the ADD managed to send it's destructive effects, and where the 'repair' of the landscape was being done slowly, by literally trillions of bio-nanite units were in the very soil, recomposing and removing the soil, of toxic elements and giving the soil triple growth akalids and other helpful compounds, that would grow the surface back to a more beautiful landscape. Already large portions of the Scar was beginning to show more color. Within a year it was projected the sight would be more of life, than death.

Still, a full four years after would then see a 'fully' reparied Scar, and a true semblence restoration. Until, the reminder of Gaian meddeling would remain.

One that was actually strengthening Gaian resolve. Every time a Gaian looked upon it, something to the effect of 'never again' kept jumping out.

As a result, almost every current Gaian technology was silently being expanded and advanced, and the Power of Hikari was being beefed up to do it's actual 'job'. The Gaians were not stupid, and 'would' be ready for any future conflicts, and be on an equal level to prevent even more.

But the intention for now, was peace.

The arrival process is essentially the same as before, though this time celebrations upon our Homeworld are not present, but you all may feel just as welcome when you arrive.

Just send an appropriate IFF code, and you'll be told where to land your shuttles. If your vessels require repair of any kind after you arrive, please feel free to use any of our yard docks for such requirements. Just be sure to inform before hand as it can get quite busy, since we're also busy repairing and refurbishing our Fleet after a recent and terrible battle with Dominion forces here.

However, security concerns are even more tatamout this time, and more powerful measure are coming into place to prevent more such 'occurances'. The Conference should be far more safe than even the First Trade Conference.

So feel safe, and arrive at your leasure. The actual talks will start a day after you arrive, when enough are present.

The AS craft Megrea, flipped out of transwarp at the outeredge of the system in which the conference was to be held. As the subdrive engaged the ship sent a message to any G.A. ships in the system.

"This is the Theao ship, Megrea. Onboard is the representative for the trade conference. We request co-ordinates for the shuttle when we reach orbit of the planet."

The message sent to the Theaoans would be the same that would be sent to all other delegate vessels.

..after, you will continue the same vector and approach past Emerald orbit plane shortly, and take you into White Diamond/Sapphire orbialt plane. There the vector will change to 72 mark degrees anti-spinward (east) and approach the planet soon after.

After, shuttles will follow the shuttle beacon path towards the Holy Palace Tree (one of 'several now'...) There, escorts will take you to your assigned waiting chambers. The wait for the conference will be until at least a 'decent' sized meeting can be attained. (the more the faster, the more the better..)

After, enjoy our hospitality as per your own homeworld(s) until the call for commencement. ~ ::

Thus was sent out to successive arrivals. The Gaians expected 'many' this time around.

The Megrea soared throught the GSG before heading to the aproved orbit. Once there the bengal shuttle, a drop/combat shuttle, streaked downward. Anyone watching or examining the shuttle would notice the paint job given to this shuttle, that of a fanged mouth surrounding the gunports, while two glaring eyes stared out the front.
The hatch slid open as a young man got out. He was dressed in a silver shirt and black pants. The man couldn't have been more than 21, yet his hair was pure white.

Sensui and Lady Aura would go to this conference. Both had diffrent views and would insure both sides of Neo Zeta got a word in.

The NSS Maha will warp into the system in 5 hours. We will then await your instructions.

The Maha engaged its warpdrive and set course for the Gaian homeworld. The Maha was the same Reman Warbird that fired on the Dominion Fleet after the cease fire cuasing them to attack the Gaian homeworld. It would be intresting how its arrivel would be seen.

"The Gaians are having another trade conference."
"Well I guess we'd better attend, might find something of interest."
"I guess so, who should we send this time?"
"An ambassador will do nicely, and not him this time."
"Alright, but we really don't have any control in that matter."

"I heard this didn't go to well last time," the ambassador said to the man behind him in the doorway.
"You could say that. Just be prepared, these people are very different than us."
"I know, thats what I'm trained to deal with. This will be fine, we really don't need you here-"
"Or want me here."
"Thats not true, its just this is a delicate time with the Republic War and all, wouldn't you be better suited in a battle?"
The figure studied the ambassador with his glowing red eyes for a moment. "Perhaps, but we aren't just trained for battle. You should remember that." He slipped out into the hallway with barely a sound.

"I shall my friend, I shall indeed."

The small shuttle flew in, following the instructions given by the Gaians. The ambassador is lead to his chambers while the man with the glowing red eyes and the crew stay with the ship.

The Imperial Guardian Ravager leaves the wormhole that has formed in the Gaian home system and hails the Gaians: "This is Colonel Marius from the Imperial Republic of Deatharon hear to see what is to be offered."

Koro looked at Raijin. "Another conference on the Gaian homeworld?"

"Could be interesting. They gave us all directions and everything," the Commander said, looking at the younger Director.

"And of course, Kriovalians always follow directions." Koro grinned. "Inputting coordinates for direct approach."

"Direct approach? Sounds like something we'd do. Ready?"

"Yup." The Director pressed a button, and the small Kriovalian ship disappeared from Earth orbit - and appeared in orbit of the Gaian homeworld. "Think they'll remember us?"

"They don't tend to forget people like us, I'd guess."

Hail, Gaian Ascendancy. Couldn't get enough trade conferencing earlier, I take it. Anyway, we're back for more. Don't worry about us, we know the way in. See you in about five minutes.

Raijin rolled his eyes. "They'll definitely remember us now. You ever see this thing flown in manual?"

The Everkingdom, Containing those members in the area once controled by the Ever Confecery ((Region name)) was large. Six Main races, with one percent alien, they where not small. And Now Malien had taken command of both the Elves and Tsurani, one powerful ruler stood out beyond all others. While the Tsurani where at war, and the plague crushed their falling populations, the new Tsurani where being born, and a new age was dawning.

The Elven Ship came in, smooth and sleek it looked like a fish. Quite quickly it scythed through space, the jump to Gaian space already compleated. On board, the Tester stood, looking into the eyes of the Elf Before him.

"So, you go to the new nation, what do you do?" He asked softly.

"I strive not to offend anyone of corse." The Elf Replied, taking a red strand of hair out of her face.

"How do you keep the Addalions from fighting or speaking out?" He said in the same tone.

"By making them pledge on their skills not to" She replied smoothly.

"So then if they do, what shall happen?" the last was a moral one, failure would result in demotion, but keep a life.

"It must die, to show the other such it not tolerated by ourselves." She said, choking it out.

"Very good, you are now Diplomat Cylinia." He said, before dissaperng.

For the newcomers that arrive in the White Diamond System, they see everything as 'new' for the first time, if one looks past the still decently large signs of massive battle all around..

..which makes the sight stark for second arounds, as they see a far 'less' serene looking Gaian Republic, with the Core System acting a bit more mechanical than usual. They also see more detail, like the massive A-SSDs having large battle scars that marr thei pristine white hulls, as well as many Stations and Docks nearby that have signs of damage that's still being repaired. (Though a few weeks ago was a worse looking sight to the eye..)

However the damage is the scars the Gaians 'learned' to deal with, as the living organisim that was the Ascendancy learned to live with the 'pinprick' they suffered, even though the moral spirit was as scarred as the physical.

Still.. only one System in thousands the Ascendancy controlled. Still just a pinprick, as they had to assist-'lord over' the Deatharon Systems 'they' currently assist-governed. Thus much of the Star Commerce traffick being seen, was being diverted to continuing efforts to the full upgrade of the entire Deatharon realm.

..and they 'still' had plenty to spare, hence a 'trade' conference, and not just a lukewarm peace conference. The Gaians saw new and strong trade routes, as the ablility to blossom their efforts into a carpet of blooming forests, from what was only now considered, a small grove. Such could lead them to aid more than one liberation front at a time, and that would continue to multiply their end effort to create the Allied Guardianship.

And hence the continuance of these functions. Infact, the Gaians saw the Conferences as more than just once or twice.

But not too often, where the effect is blunted. Still, the event was seen as a grander step forward.

...as for the guests, 'none' were being treated as outcasts or mutants or such. No enemies existed during a Conference, as the Gaians stated before. Even the Dominion was welcomed with open arms, and even if it meant further war and grief later.

..trust in 'one' place to conduct all matters in neutrality, was what the Conference was beginning to assert, and the Gaians didn't have it any other way.

As a result, even the likes of the Maha was welcomed, though a 'touch' cooly at times to remind them. And the Krioval was indeed remembered, as such when a clear entry vector was established 'just' for their approach vector and 'type' of entrance. The Deatharon were welcomed like 'actual' Gaian citizens. And all others were given the proper guest treatment. New nations like The Everkingdom were given special treatment to impress them upon Gaian hospitality.

Their respective chambers were of course, lavish, mansion sized, and uber-tech in comfort, even lines in the floor to direct to food replicators when someone even 'mentioned' the word.

'No' aspect was overlooked, so in as far as the Gaians could prepare for. And those that couldn't were focused on by the Gaian welcome staff with a single minded 'borg' mentality.

The Gaians were determined to make the second version of this hulabalooza go off with even 'less' pf a hitch than last time.

The USS Ohio (galaxy class) was on the way to the conference, its nacelles were glowing brightly as it whooshed in to coaxial warp space folding around it particles flowing out as it instantly went from Border of USFU space to ware the conference was.

The captain was on the bridge working on his padd as the ship dropped out of coaxial warp the,

The helms officer swiveled his chair over and looked at the captain saying” sir we have reached our destination, he blinked a bit wondering if the captain was ok.

The captain looked up a bit and said “ohh yes… yes, send a comm. that we are ready to be cleared, also tell Senator Xavier”

The ops officer said with haste “yes captain, he looked down to his console and began taping it like mad the blinking beeping console, made odd noises at it opened an internal and external comm. single , the ops officer sent a request for clearance and a beam down site, while he sent a message to the senator, who was asleep in his luxurious illuminated quarters, with a grand view of the out side.

International Trade Minister Danny Bullock looked out his window as the stars began to slow "Sigh i already miss the Federation, I hate thes damn trips"

"But sir" a member of his diplomatic protection agency looked over " your responsible for opening the federation to massive trade agreements which have our Small federation to turn into a voce on the intergalatic stage"

Minister Bullock smiles "yes.....i guess i am"


About this time the Diplomatic Shuttle came out of hyperspace and began trasmitting the following message

Carla Baileygates was unsure how to do this. She was in the Y-4 Transport bought from the Huntarians, and it was flanked by several TIE Defender Fighters. Not much, but all they could muster.

They flew, making good time. They eventually approached Gaian space, and raidoed the Gaian defenses, signaling:

"Gaian ships, this is the NDS Workingman. Request permission to enter, we have diplomats for the conference onboard."

The Ageaol ship Hylio entered Gaian space.

The Hylio followed the Gaian instructions. They went through the GSG and followed the instructions and soon entered the orbit of the planet. They followed the beacon path and landed near the Holy Palace Tree. The crew stayed inside the ship while the diplomats and captain went outside where they were met by some escorts. They were taken to waiting chambers and rested while other people came.

Message to the Gaians

The Dratherians would be pleased to send some people to attend but we can only afford to send a vessel if peace is reached with the Imperium. At the current time we are in talks for peace.

It was albeit bland and mechanical, like the environs of the very hosts somewhat, but the Federal Union, Planet Federation, and New Dornalia vessels were both welcomed in, and vectored with the same message as to a general guideline to follow.

The Dratheria message was returned with one saying opens arms awaited them when they 'did' finally come.

Meanwhile, the guests that arrived were continuously escorted to their await chambers, while the Conference Hall finalized preparations for the event. The myriad of Gaian citizen souls: droids, angelics, avian lords, humans, angel gods, steel angels, kyrysallians, energon, and more, all were bustling about the massive complex.

Sensui and Lady Aura went to the to the planet and in away looked around untell more word was given.

The Maha stayed in fare orbit and weapons and shield systems were offline.
Sensui hoped he could make a good friendship with some nations comeing and TFU was one of them.

The Ship came in, landing in the designated area. Cylinia steped out, flanked by the two massive Addalions, who scanned the crowd for signs of danger. Cylinia shook her head, wishing she had taken the Elven Escort instead, but no, she had to look tough. She sighed, thinking on it as she was lead to her room.

She was impressed. While her own house made the room look weak in comparison, the design was very good for one of the Lesser Nations. She looked as her two guards immidetly scanned for hidden entrances, and satisfied, sat themselves at the door. Cylinia sighed, knowing that would be the privacy she would recieve from those two, another reason she should have gone elven. Still, she unpacked the MC that held her dress and activated it, making her old clothes into a snappy Elven Gown. She sighed and pressed the button again, this time getting a Everkingdom Diplomat Uniform, which had the top and skirt seperat. Once she was done, she looked at the guards.

"Come, we shall sociolise" She said to them jokingly. Nether smiled.

With the message sent the Ohio moved in to position rumbling slowly on impulse in to standard orbit as the star gleamed on its hull, and saucer section, dark blue illuminating the back side of the galaxy class ship, Senator Robert Xavier rushed up to the bridge shuffling along the carpet over to the captain who was addressing a padd of tactical and engineering reports.

He said with haste “captain, I believe I’m ready to beam down to the conference, do you have the proper location?”

The captain looked over nodding and saying still holding a padd “

Yes we have the location, we will have 2 marines escort you to the surface” he looked over and nodded to 2 marines in whitish blue battle amour holding Automatic phaser pulse rifles, there phaser pistols in there internal holsters.


Xavier nodded as the marines rushed out and in to the turbo lift there armored boots making a shuffling machine like noise as they came to a stop and the turbo lift began to move towards transporter room, 2.

Moments later the turbo lift came to a full stop and the doors whooshed open the marines and senator shuffled down the hall as they see officers going about there routine business engineers using there tools to replace old conduits and parts.

They arrived and Transporter room 2, and rush in taping along the transporter pad standing up.
The transporter chief said with a slight smile “ready guys?” Xavier and the others nodded sharply
The chief while he was starting to transport “good luck with these politicians’ boys!”

Several seconds later a bight flash of light followed buy a flow of particles reviled the disappearance of he senator and marines . Immediately afterwards they appeared in the same blue bright flash right in the conference hall
The senator and his marines looked around one of the marines chuckled and said “sir it looks like we got the right place but were every one?”

"Sir we are at .01 Megaclicks per second and ready to land"

"What ya think Mr Peptar?"

The engineer looks up at the Ctp of the small vessell i think it will hold together.

The engineer just got finished repairing the Reentry Shields after failing during a routine test.

"Ok prepare shields and make so with the Gains orders"

"Roger that sir"

The ship began comming into the atmosphere after the inital 28 seconds it reached inside the atmosphhere

"Good job Mr Peptar"

"Thank you sir"

The ship landed safely and the Minister got off and was escorted to the confrence

The Imperial Guardian Ravager stayed in orbit over the Gaians homeworld. Colonel Marius was escorted by General Krell and Six Deatharon Marines from Panther pride. Colonel Marius realized this Trade Conference was a huge controversy at home. The Imperial Council wanted to refuse to send a diplomat because of what happened last time. The Emperor however persuaded them to allow Marius to be the Diplomat and to send six Marines from Panther Pride to make sure nothing happens like last time. The party tried to look totally neutral about the event but the Marines were failing badly they could not stand the fact they lost the war to the Gaians. They were under strict orders not to do anything that will cause Deatharon to suffer. The Marines were lucky the helmets and armor covered their bodies making it impossiable to see thier expressions.

A common comment among Deatharon People you never see A Marine out of his Armor so are they really human or very well made Androids. very few citizens know they are Genetically Engineered SuperSoldiers based on Nietzschean D.N.A.

As Alhien, the young man with white hair, arrived in his quarters he turned to his escort, "So when and where is the conference, and why was it called?"

ooc: should anyone run scans on him, or the ship they would notice that there was a stream of data travelling between the two all the time, also they wouldn't be able to read the data.

The Workingman and her escorts followed the instructions, and soon entered the Holy Palace Tree. The sight of the massive, beautiful, vibrant complex scared and amazed them; they had a feeling much like that of Polo as he visited the Khan's palace at Xanadu.

Carla translated those feelings into the words: "Damn, that's nice."

The pilot said, "You said, Comrade Commissar. Capitalist to the core, but it is nice."

Carla said, "Let's not make judgments now; we don't know much about them."

The ship then landed at the dock. Carla got out, and saw a wonderous throng of people in front of her. Her retinue and herself we escorted to her room. The opulence and mechanical Bauhaus beauty of it all struck her all the way, though it did look like war had come to these parts.

Carla began taking pictures, using a small digital camera. She had to save this for posterity.

The flagship of the First fleet, White Star, pulled out of Space Time. The ship carried Count Jinto Hyde, Princess Lafiel of the Cluvay royal family, and Dusanyu who is it next in line for Emperor.

Dusanyu: "Well we finally arrived."
Lafiel: "I can't believe we had trouble with the drive on our original transport."
Jinto: "Well at least we make a strong impression coming in on the flagship of the First fleet itself."
Dusanyu: "True enough. Time to announce our arrival."

We are the ambassadors from the Empire of the Humankind Abh. Sorry we're late for the party. We are standing by awaiting instructions.

Another tidbit of note, the greeting parties for each and every diplomatic parry were greeted by a mix of racial types, from human Gaian, to avian lord Gaian, and even persocom and steel angel Gaian. The sight of a griffonade specie type, a computer android, a protocol froid, or even an energy being (Energon), still all had one thing in common.

...they were Gaian. They were in a five 'being' greeting party that escorted each and every to their chambers, and also answered many questions about the world and realm they were in. They also were atendants for the parties while they waited out the time for all arrivals to finalize their introductions.

The Deatharon souls were 'not' treated as they felt inside, and were quite well treated no matter what they felt. (..can't hide such from the many Generational Hikari Power Partners that were in 'each' greeting party. (..a security protocol, and mentioned outright as well, since hiding secrets from a Hikari Power user was about as effective as blowing out a star while standing dead in it's corona aura.

A sun ain't a candle, hence the transpose.

The USS Ohio was welcomed in the rest of the way, as was the Abh representatives, and all else still waiting. For those that asked like Lord Alhein, the response was simple, and similar every time.

"We called this Conference to continue to strengthen the relations between the disparate realms, and to fine for many by their own devices, a common ground where such strength makes for great change, both good and bad as we've experienced.

..but both still tend to 'grow' all things, as does a forest after a fire. Even with our recent actions, we still pursue the roads of peace as much as we can."

They all, when they arrive, are told the Conference will begin 0800 Local System Time the next morning after enough representatives are present. The arrival of the Abh and Planet Federation though gave the Gaian Diplomatic Corps something to rejoyce. The result would be concluded later.

A large Executor-class SD appeared in orbit above the conference and Xanatos beamed to the surface of the the planet and made it known to everybody in the room through telepathy his name, title, and his needs.

I am Lord Xanatos of the Shadow Sun crime syndicate controller of all crime in the Centurion Galaxy as well as a fair amount of crime in other galaxies across the universe. I am interested in attaining military technology, drugs, slaves, and any other useful technologies. I can trade money and any technology from the Borg, Space Marines, some Huntaerian weaponry and ships, as well as anything Dratheria uses in their military and everyday life. Whatever you want come to me and ask for it. More than likely we will have whatever you need.

Colonel Marius was dressed in his new Imperial Republic Guard uniform. He starts wondering according to the peace treaty. The Imperial Republic's Military is suppose to be under FACAF and Marius wonders when that will take effect. Marius decides to ask the representaive party from the Gaians to find out. The Marines litterly stiffen as he asks his question their Alpha commanders were still figureing out weither they would follow that command or not.

The Deatharon question is replied back, when Lady Ifurita herself comes to talk to Lord Marius and his Marines. She enters, greets the Deatharons, and then says it simply..

"The Deatharon forces are their own to still command, and their own chain of command. However to facilitate the terms of the Peact Treaty recently signed, the Deatharon forces are required to conduct all activites with Gaian supervision. As such, acts that become too agressive or fall outside the terms of the Treaty, will be reined in by Gaian forces where approporate.

..otherwise, we have no need to bog down your lives with uneccessary oversight, only enough to ensure obediance to the Treaty, and the Protectorate. We 'did' keep your leaders in place for a 'reason', that is..

...unless you all 'like' instability. We don't... so there."

Ifurita then says. "As long as Deatharon souls act with honor and decorum, and don't go into overblandish plans of coups and other such 'not happening' events, then the Gaian will 'not' try to govern Deatharon forces.

Now if you all would just fricken 'relax' already, we're 'not' going to brainwash you Marines or anything like that. Sheesh..

..give us more credit than that. And 'do' please try not to read between the lines, as 'we' aren't doing the same.. thank you..." Ifurita quips with a dry tone, annoyed that the Deatharon's are still expecting enslavement, when 'none' such even exists for the Deatharons...

..what part of 'liberation' did they not 'get'?

Marius replies calmly, "We are just a little confused at home. The Empire has collasped. The Marines want to remove all the Gaians out of Deatharon. The Military felt it was disgraced and the Nobility is trying to figure out how the Imperial Council is going to run anything. The Emperor is the only one really keeping are society from falling apart. Right now it is everyone's fear that Mavis or Alfred will led a coup agaisnt the Republic. The Emperor and myself were justing wondering if we had to send troops or ships your way so we could prepare for doomsday is all and the Brakka systems are threatening to leave the Republic thinking it does not have the teeth that the Empire did."

Ifurita replies back.. "Stop thinking that everything is over. Yes your forces were beaten. So be it, it happened, move on. And now that Deatharon is a Protectorate of the Ascendancy Sphere, there will be 'no' active breakaways of Systems as an end result.

..we are there to keep stability in place, and the best thing that Deatharon can do, is 'stop' trying to fight reality. The Emperor is 'not' the only one keeping the new Imperial Republic in place, as the Excellency himself will explain at the Conference.

..if there are coups, Gaian/Deatharon Republic forces will put it down. If another nation invades Deatharon, Gaian forces will tear them apart, and above all else..

..STOP trying to love life in fear. The best strength your people can gain, is by trusting their new 'allies', us it be, instead of fearing us. Besides, you can 'try' and remove us.

We'll just come back thrice as determined to befriend and succeed in our end quest. To make Deatharon a first class respected power among the stars, one that 'isn't' trying to invade an anger everybody, but instead makes further alliances that continue to strengthen your own nation.

But to do that, all the hate, distrust, greed, and all other poisons of your society, need to be expunged for something far better. It's all the ills that limit nations, onstead of make them grow. The delusions created to cover real facts to that end, are in effect even 'worse' things for a nation to do to itself.

But she was in mixed company, and she would not force her Socialist ways on the rest.

She did however, take time to notice the others. As she was the first of any Dornalian to travel to a foreign world, she noted the variety of persons in the room, some of whom seemed like the "Angels" of old pre-Apocalypse Christianity-which still existed in New Dornalia, though among a limited minority now, for the majorty had seen such beliefs had given way to the eventual deification of Communist heroes.

Yet for a moment, she was inclined to beleive in those old stories.....the wonders shone through.

These accompanied the normal banners from the Ascendancy flag worlds, Bloodhouses and other services, along with many holo-scenescapes and various works of art from all over the Ascendancy Sphere.

It was here in the ornate whitestone, whitesteel, jeweled swirled in marbles, and molded chamber, upon which rested the 'beams' of several branches and root sections from the nearby Palace Tree, that in the haolic light of the rising morning, glinted with the rings cresting over the sapphire horizon, that the Conference was called. The fanfare was much less, as the Gaian Council expected that no one wanted to wait around this time.

The Gaians leaders themselves were not all in attendance, as many still were either governing over the redevelopment of Deatharon, the repair and further upgrades of the Tourman and StarFleet forces, or even engaged in massive experiments that would soon come to light, as the original event of the Dimensional Controller was now coming to the fore behind the scenes.

Carla said, "Yes, Your Highness. To begin, I think you may or may not know who I am, but for those who don't, I am Carla Baileygates, People's Commissar for Foreign Relations of the Workers' State of New Dornalia. I have come to represent the interest of the Workers and Peasants of my nation, and to see that both they and all can benefit from any proceedings here."

The Marines take off their helmets to drink but they still seem supcious of the Gaians and only take little sips hopeing the great immunities bestowed on them would protect them from any possiable posions. Marius just laughs at their extreme use of Cauation. Krell watches the proceding and decides to play diplomat for the first time.

Ifurita just glowers a bit at the Marine's reactions, and chides.. "Whimps..* ..before downing her jug one big gulp, something that she hopes gets the the Marine's egos that a 'woman' is out drinking them.

With a buzz growing in her head, she orders another, this time a darker ale. A small sip and.. "Mmm.. earthy and sweet." ...downs the second.

When Conference is called, one wonders if Marius is any better off than Ifurita is. Makoto finds his wife like this the next morning and shakes his head.

"Not again..." ..he moans, thanking the goddess he wasn't present 'this' time around for this.

Aleaic nods back to Lady Carla. "Then ask away of any of us present here. What is it you need of most from us? The same for the rest, what can be traded of most value to all present?"

"What are your reasons for calling this conference and what do you hope to gain as a result?" Alhien asked the Gaians.

The Marines drink about five drinks and luckly they do not get drunk. (Thank the all powerful Nietzschean D.N.A) Marius unforantely had one to many and picked a fight with the Marine Sargent, In the End Marius would wake up with a broken arm and broken ribs and some bruises. He would have been killed if the rest of the squad had not forciably removed the Sargent.

Krell decides to pretend he does not know the other Deatharons but his uniform gives him away.

Mr Bullock looked around his room

"Please inform the Gains i request the status of there acceptance to our proposal to build our STARFLEET."

"Yes Sir"

Cylinia smiled, leaning forward in her chair. Her body Guards, although she called them aids, stood with a number of psy pins in their hands. She gestured to them and they began to move around, handing the things out.

"The Everkingdom has fallen on hard times, if you would please" She said placing the Blue Object into her finger. She pushes it to half way then nods for the others to do the same.

"For all involved, it has been hard, we are prosocuting the tratiors who helped the Grand Duke of The Terran Colonies, Qakukai is in Civil war, and the Illetrians have fallen to plague, in fact, the only two unscratched races are those of Robottica and us Elves." She looked at the people around her. "Now, we Elves have always controled the Forgin Sector, I think its because of all the Everkingdoms races we are the nicest to deal with." She smiled sweetly. "The pins provided will show you what we need, and what we are willing to give in return, you will notice the emphises on Snakes and other such cold bloods, and we can trade Titanium Illithiate for it, as well we need workers to fill the falling population of Tsurani, and Soldiers to fill in the ranks for the war against Arizona Nova. All this can be payed by gold, or anything else you feel you need that is in the left colum."

OOC Now, if you object to me taking control like this, soz, but its what my race enjoy doing, being arrogent assholes.

Aleaic looked and inspected the pin with his mind, but held back an immediate answer to the 'request' as to not be seen helping what sounded like a war to dominate other races. Not necessarily a result intended by this Conference.

Instead he felt more regard driven to answer Lord Alhein first.

"We are here, to establish stronger relations among all our peoples present, such to increase that understanding and prevent the wars that even we ourselves are guilty of. It's by that understanding, and the respect thereof, that hopes to establish where we all stand, as well as where we can take that understanding.

...with the intent to strength through peace, and see war as a resort that should not be taken lightly. Simply glorifying war for vectors seen by others as the usual greed and avarice, is the understanding that must be changed, and what 'must' evolve along side, as to establish better ways 'other' than war to resolve disputes, but still recognize when realms still require such, that which cause terrible events for the lay soul of any realm. The one affected the 'most' by all decisions made by their respective leaders.

While we do such things as help other nations, assist to help them grow and better defend themselves, we also do things willingly, like invade Deatharon, to show that there 'are' times when war is needed, to correct injustices, especially when asked of to the effect of giving an overall better life for the general lay soul at the root of the same effects.

We all here can say with all too easiness, that they can ignore the normal mortal soul when they create fleets, move militaries, construct and tear down economies, and make planet shaking decisions, but in the end, who here can say they do the above, and 'actually' think of the end lay soul we all affect the most.

This Conference, is more than just creating trade contracts, fostering alliances, or driving personal agendas. It's to ensure the understanding that every decision we make, gives either hope, of takes away the same, for the lay soul.

And that is the primary reason for this Conference. Our own souls, and those we protect over Deatharon Systems, are no less affected. In the end, no matter what we do, whatsoever, that understanding must leave here with us all that is present, and spread further, no matter how long it takes.

That is where further trust, more strength, and greater progress is made in the long run, because decisions made 'with' that in mind, gives all the morality to look themselves in the eternal mirror, and judge themselves properly."

Aleaic then looks at the Planet Federation delegation. "..and the full specifics of what vessels will be constructed will be needed, before we can truly accept this charge.

More, what else would you like to barter in trade, besides only this? Also terms of alliance should be discussed, now that we have the chance."

Minister Bullock Looked through the meeting hall and noticed a large amount of other nation delegates.

He immediatly found his Gain counterpart.

"Excuse me hows it going was wondering if you guys were as authorized by my PM interested in an Alliance."

Lady Seto took up that query when Lord Bullock asked. "Then shall we begin such discussions?" Lady Seto then has a special earpiece sent to Lord Bullock, that will allow direct conversation, without undue distraction from the main conference.

Xavier looked around and listened in to some conversations from a far or at least trying to he was quiet waiting for an opportune moment to bring out the position of the union and its policies, 2 marines rushed behind him and stood watching guard was Xavier looked around to the other delegates and said aloud “well isn’t any one going to welcome one of the most powerful nations in the galaxy to this conference” he chuckled “that was a joke if you didn’t notice, well any way I look forward to meeting new nations and consulting with them, so hello to all of you and to our gracious host”


Mean while in space a few Hundred million KM’s from the planet, a strange luminous glow spread like a
temporal distortion, a whirling cloud of white glowing dust grew bigger as an object started coming through, it was a federal ship.. or looked like one ,it looked like a Prometheus class but much more menacing and dark, it said USS Hercules over its dark gray gleaming hull. (more to come)

Aleaic looked over at Lord Xavier. "Indeed then, welcome representatives of the Federal Union. And if we must, welcome Deatharon, welcome Planet Federation, welcome Everkingdom, welcome RALM, welcome Scandinavans, welcome nation of Theao, welcome Humankind Abh, welcome Neo Zeta/Nova Zeta/Dominion, welcome Dratherons, welcome..." ..on and on until any nation not even created yet was welcomed officially.

It's nice to know nations don't single themselves out like this for any reason. =^^=

the Armed Republic of Justanastan wishes to attend this trade confrence. will you accept our represenative?

After, shuttles will follow the shuttle beacon path towards the Holy Palace Tree (one of 'several now'...) There, escorts will take you to your assigned waiting chambers. The wait for the conference will be until at least a 'decent' sized meeting can be attained. (the more the faster, the more the better..)

The Gaians meanwhile opened trade negotiations over expected economic commodities over essentially all of their commodities, both organic and inorganic based. Ores and molecular property material the Ascendancy held as common were tradable, such as high grades of armor and internal structure types, just as much as for more mundane things like Gaian sgurar and other agricultural commodities the Gaians had in large quantities.

They also asked for bids for the right to pals for 1,000 meter plus sized cargo vessels to build for their own expansive commerce fleets. They also asked for the right to trade cultural and diplomatic contacts and rights, as well as tradable capabiltiy for the Gaian Ascendant Starmaps, which had expanded by now to 30 galaxies, though only two additional galaxies were on the slate for new Gaian colony expansion.

Sensui and Lady Aura walked into the main meeting area where all the talking was going on.

" I already know what nations we will speak to. Only those who have the will to force order on the galaxy." Sensui said

Aura took a DEEP sigh and walked a little past sensui befor saying " We arnt here for those kinds of talks" She then walks of to meet with the abh diplomats.

Sensui then walked up to the TFU Delegation and introduced him self. " I am Sensui a leading military figure in Neo Zeta you may or may not know of our nation. But we know of yours. Who wouldnt? We hear great stores of your power and wisdom and i know we can do much togather."

Dusanyu, Jinto, and Lafiel made their way of to Xavier to find a nation familiar with to hold a conversation with. They walked over and waited for the two to finish their discussion.

To Gaians
"I would be interested if you knew systems in which we could conduct planetary scale mining operations. Also we are wondering if we could have a copy of your starcharts to see if we've been to places your ships havn't." Alhien asked

General Krell states to The Gaian Delegation, "The Imperial Republic is intrested in more finaces for explortory work in the Antaries Galaxy. We have been finding ancient ruins of the Systems Commonwealth and the technology we find has greatly influenced our culture. The Imperial Republic will share all technology and ancient histroy in exchange for this help."

The Gaian delegation answers each query in order..

"To the Theao delegation, we will do so, though it is likely you 'have' been to other Systems and other galaxies that we have not yet ourselves. The Ascendant Maps extended very vast, outside the boundry of this very Universe even.

..a civilization such as they having been around for multiple Eons have had such time to compile such a map. There are even maps for seperate pocket dimensions where.... um... things not yet ready for any nation present here to see.

..such were about to attempt exploration of anyway. We're dopey like that.

In anycase, the maps are yours and any others to obtain, for a fair price. Not one of secrets, but something similar to the Deatharon offer will suffice, as well as what we are asking for.

To the Deatharon delegation, your information intrigues us. Not only do we agree to fund your further explorations, but also to help assist in colonization and development of these worlds, if they become fruitful for the Deatharon people. The price you offer is more than sufficent, so in as long that the entire endeavor is conducted peacefully, and with the intent for 'knowledge' first, and the tertiary for colonization after. It's time for your people to spread out more and find more breathing space for 'all' your souls, human and 'mutant' alike."

Aleaic then looks over at Peorth, and nods... she then calls in the Avaian Lord in Charge of Stellar Cartography in the Ascendancy...

..as such, a ten foot griffonade creature enters, feathers of blue and green with white highlights, and cloistered in robes that look like they belong on a Shinto priest. The being softly plods to stand somewhere in between all the present delegates and holds out a rather thick and large cylinder rod, made of Blue Diamond, through and through, with glowing etherial lines running all through it.

When she speaks... "~ Allow my presence to offer as our Power and Master offers. The Ascendant Star Charts, utter and complete. Some thirty Dimensional Sectors, with over a thousand Universe's worth of data within.

((OC- To be simple, an Ascendant is a Griffon being, ten feet tall, and just as bulky, that's 'far' more mentally advanced than even most humans today. They put that genius society to shame quite bluntly.

They also were the ones that originally owned the worlds the Ascendancy now controls, and were the first Guardianship, a race that did very actively, what the Ascendancy is trying to do now. They were so advanced, that the Gaian Homeworld System was 'constructed' by the Ascendants Eons ago. They did so many advancements, that ascendany was almost second nature to them.

The 'only' reason' such an advanced race even noticed the Gaians in the first place, was because Aleaic was a Power, related to the Power that the Ascendants gave the caretaking of when they ascended. Hell, the Ascndants made the Gaians prove their worth, if anyone remembers the 'Dysan Sphere' thread I once did..

..going between ascendancy and mortaliy is no more than walking through a door with those wierd curtain bead thingys that some doors have, as a resistance.

It's the Ascendants that makes the Gaians who they are, and the Gaians 'know' it.

And yes I borrowed some of the ideas from the Ancients of Stargate, though not as removed from it all. The Ascendants still have some anchor on the mortal plane in the first place....

The Ageaol Delegation watched the creature give the Theao delegation the blue rod in silence.

"We ought to get one of those for ourselves," muttered a new diplomat.

"Yeah, we should just take that one or some-" said another

"Hey now, you guys, don't take what doesn't belong to you. You can take one from the Gaians, IF you ask that tall feathered creature over there for one very politely. I'd bet that you'd be food before you get one." interrupted the head diplomat, Olcair.

"Umm.. may-ay-ay be-e-e later...." stuttered the diplomat in fright.

Newbies, thought Olcair, So gullible and so easy to scare. He chuckled as the new diplomat looked at the creature again and became so scared he started to regurgitate. His partner produced a bag instantly to collect the vomit.

Cylinia sighed, turning to the griffon. She smiled, the thing was more bulky then Cyria, she looked the the creature and smiled.

"Can I please have this? Junri, may he bless me would find it very usful." She smiled, looking at the creautre in delight. "A Hug would be nice to, I do Love Feathers so much! And to tell you, I am sorry for the call for armed forces, but they could make or break the Everkingdom. I swear, the Tsurani are almost dead, Illetrian are dead." She smiled, brushing her hand through the things feathers, before squealing in delight. "Very well kept." She said, more to herself.

"I thank you for your gift." Alhien replied

The Avian Lord nods to Alhein.. then repeats for the others more clearly.. "~ As I said, the gift given here is already to be placed in your chambers by the time the Conference is completed. It still will take a bit of mortal time to complete this task, mainly from transport concerns.

..those that are asking, will already be accepted. Just ensure that the warning is heeded. ~"

The Avian Lord however is reserved enough to Cylinia to hold back her other request. "~ Pardon my good form, but perhaps a 'hug' after the Conference is in recess.

..or perhaps the same for one of our young, since they are more friendly as such than I honestly am. ~"

General Krell thanks the Gaians for the support and saids, "For your help I will tell you a little bit about the histroy known so far. The Systems Common wealth at its height spaned six galaxies and fought off some aliens known as Magog which seemed to have infested their outer territories. The Common Wealth fell because of Internal treachery from one of their member species. We have recorded that the Common Wealth fell around 300 years ago."

My nation is based on the Andromedia Universe and a lot of old common wealth planets are found and studied and if they contain things that are labeled dangerous by the Government they are destroyed after all the information is taken out of them. That is why alot of my ships are based of Common Wealth warships.

The ambassador woke with a start. "What are you doing in my room!?!" he shouted at the intruder.

"I'm here to wake you up. The conference has already begun," the man in the wide-brimmed hat and with the glowing eyes said.

The ambassador quickly got up and got dressed and the two of them headed to the conference.

"I am Jack Andolini," the man in the business suit said as he started the introduction, "Ambassador from the Serene Death." He motioned to the man on his right who was wearing close more suited for someone in a western than a trade conference (jeans, wide-brimmed hat, cowboy boots, plain shirt, and heavy gun in a holster on his hip). "This is Jamie De Curry, gunslinger."

The man with the glowing red eyes (all that could be seen of his face under the shadow from his hat) gave a slight nod towards everyone. He took a seat next to the ambassador and scanned the room, staring into everyones eyes as he did so.

Council member Xavier mean while got up from his seat and wandered over to The EverQueen and Ageaol ambassador, he said in a some what serious but lax voice “hello there its nice to meet you, I don’t believe our nations have met ?”

Mean while he turned his attention to the Gaian ambassador momentarily and said “we thank you for this gift in many ways our nation is glad to be a part of it ,since we seek peace with most races,” he then looked back to The EverQueen and Ageaol delegate.

Dusanyu walked over to the ambassador of Gaian while Lafiel and Jinto walked around and mingled with the other representatives.

Dusanyu: "I must say, you throw quite an elegant conference. One I would think even our empress would be most pleased to join. I would like to introduce myself. I am Dusanyu from the Empire of the Humankind Abh and I am next in line as emperor. I'd like to thank you for this invitation."

General Krell waits for his Marine escort to report on Marius's condition by the delay he could tell it was serious.

Aleaic nods back to Lady Carla. "Then ask away of any of us present here. What is it you need of most from us?

She then said to the Gaians, "Forgive my delayed reply, I was temporarily distracted. You may heard about our Che Guevara Station? It is an orbital platform for both military and scientific purposes. We intend to place an orbital dockyard on it, but alas, we lack the capabilities to make it. We have mecha and license to make mecha, and we have developed lasguns, but our Premier has noted our lack of any sort of spacefaring element; he feels that an orbital dockyard would help correct this."

"We wonder if it is within your powers to help provide aid to ensure its completion? That, and probably a practical hydrogen fuel engine-we have had trouble with that in the past."

Carla then said, "In exchange, you would get free docking priveleges at the station, Your Highness, and our support."

General Krell wonders were is Marius, I am hardly a diplomat half of my life has been on Deatharon battlefields. He finally decides to ask a gaian representaive what happened to Marius.

Aleaic meanwhile was 'menatally' occupied for a good bit, as he used his Hikari Powers in a mental projection over the Deatharon realm where he just sent his message. As a result, Tsunami answered back in a general voice.

"In fact we have all our current technologies up for trade, as essentially all of them are being upgraded even as we speak." Arashi adds, and then to Lady Carla. "Do you not want a more powerful fusion core to power your station? We also have prefab built Space Station sections more than likely more advanced than your current materials. We make them like one makes a bicycle.

This and more are on the table."

Meanwhile, Lord Tenchi had been summoned mentally into the chamber, and he approaches General Krell. "Is there a problem General?"

General Krell Replies, "yes Marius has yet to report since his fist fight with the Marine sargent. I was wondering was he killed or something? Marines have a tendancy to fight rough and well they are Gentically Engineered for combat and I am worried my friend is dead."

Jinto grabbed on to Lafiel's hand, "Come here." He dragged her along through the crowd until they found Xavier.

Jinto: "Hello ambassador. I am Count Hyde from the Empire of the Humankind Abh and this is my wife, Princess Lafiel of the Cluvaye royal family."

Xavier looked over and said “hello there its nice to meet you” he held out his hand as he looked at them wondering if he had heard of them before “I‘m actually a UFP council member”

Lord Tenchi nods sternly, but talks with a concerned demeanor. "Even if so, a trip to a Genetic Refab canister will fix him even from the dead. Then we can find out what happened.

..in any case, lets do just that." ..and Tenchi begins to lead General Krell to find his friend, and heads out of the Conference chamber.

Meanwhile Aleaic for a moment is still just sitting there, his mind 'watching' the events in Deatharon unfold, while keeping another 'eye' on the proceedings.

No one could tell by the stone face, devoid of emotion, that his mind suddenly was pulling an emotional 180. It was a crisis of his own mind he felt deep inside, for having sent such dire messages in one format or another, even as he sat in his own seat, that a large part of his inner self felt like crumbling.

But as noted, his emotions external were so unflinched, that even his wives, the ones that knew him best, felt nothing.

No one knew what was coming when Aleaic decided to look over at Tsunami, nad asked innocently. "If no objections merited, mind if I excuse to my office for a moment to retrieve a set of document Padds I wanted to give the Abh and Planet Federation?"

Tsunami blinks and looks back with.. "An aide can do that for you, why yourself?"

Aleaic innocently smiles. "Sometimes one gets their own hands durty." ..which to Tsunami blinks, but only shrugs. Arashi leans over and offers.. "I can do so myself if you want."

Aleaic looks over and says. "Nay, if the Abh and Planet Federation or the others offer anything, then I can leave that to you two with all my trust." ..Aleaic puts with a smile that Arashi slightly melts to.

Both end up only shrugging and nodding, and with that, Aleaic stands up and says openly. "Pardon my rude interrupton, but I forgot to bring some items of my own personal merit to bring to the discussion. I will return shortly." ..and at that, Aleaic just excuses himself.

Meanwhile, Arashi and Tsui looked on, wating for questions.

Cylinia nodded to the Avian Lord, right before turning to the TFU Abassator.

"Everkingdom my friend. And I belive you have, although it would have been in one of its old incanations." she shrugged. "It matters little, we meet now. So, how fairs the Union? And more importently, what have you got to trade for us?" She smiled sweetly, gesturing to the Addalions to hand the man a Psi-needle. "All the infomation would be on that right there."

Meanwhile, an aide approaches with a tactical report from the Deatharon Theater and Protectorate. He gives the Padd to Lady Tsunami, who glances it over, and is visibly suprised by the contents.

She then whispers to herself. "We may have underestimated them. How shameful of us." Arashi looks over and Tsui hands the Padd to her. Arashi feels no less a few moments later.

Tsunami just comments in a low tone. "Where is love? He needs to see this."

Arashi looks back at an empty hallway section. Still no Aleaic.

General Krell recieves a message from the Imperial Guardian Ravager. :The Marines are traitors to the Imperial Republic we are sending a tatical strike team to eliminate the Marine guards." Krell replies, "Very well send them in." The beam like transporter sends down a group of 10 Imperial Republic Guard to "eliminate the Marines" The Marines open fire and a fire fight ensues.

Olcair looked up at this. "Fold Drive? We have something like that but yours is probably better than ours. At our current stage it is not very efficient and uses a lot of energy so we stick with hyperspace. Can we have a look at your fold drive specs?"

The Marines on both sides are quickly dealt with, as a series of stasis and energy nullifier bubbles are SMACKED onto both sides, and Ionic stun fields knock them out.

On top of this, an entire Star of Angel Gods and a squad of Angelic warriors are sent into the area almost on top of the bubbles being activated.

As a consequence, those Deatharons that survive the first stuns, are then faced with 25 Key Staff weapons pointed at them, and celestial backup with. When the firing started, and stopped a sheer moment later, Lord Tenchi races ahead and enters the area, and with a glance all around, comments..

"Only barbarians conduct themselves on the grounds of a host. You will be separated and interned for the duration of the Conference. Whole we on your soil is one thing, doing such on ours is beyond stupid."

Tenchi then looks around for Lord Marius, Mental calling for a Med team stat!

We'll also include the basics of our Zero-Point Fusion Core technology, and the comptroller unit standards to handle the information capacity and commands needed to handle these advanced systems.

We'd like to know what you'd like to offer in basic trade for the technology here.. we'd..." ..Seto stops when she hears the sound of rapidly approaching footsteps. When she looks over, the author of this, an aide, is already past her, and is huffing with a static and fearful drawl. "What in?"

"M.. my.. my appologies madam Lady, but... b..."

"Aide.. wha....?" Arashi reacts, but the aide apparently can't handle the stress she feels, and thrusts a large data Padd in the middle of the ladies present. Tsunami sees a 'horrid' look in her eyes, and is confused for a second, before she 'wonders', such that she takes the Padd with her own growing terror.

General Krell watches the fight with intrest and was a little disapointed on its outcome. He decides to find Marius before the Gaians do. Seems the Imperial Republic was in a bind. Krell orders the Ravager to scan the Gaian planet from orbit. The Ship begins a scan. The Ravager fearing a retailative strike raises shields, and arms weapons.

Admiral Trife on board the White Star recieves a message that a Deatharon ship has raised shields and arms.

Trife: "Chief, tell all crew to go to level 1 battle stations. Something is up and I don't want to be caught unprepaired. Things look like they could get ugly. I hope the Prince and Princess are alright down there."

Nastile: "And what would you like us to do Admiral?"

Trife: "Our shields are always up so that's not a problem but I want the space time mines fueled and ready for launch. I want ion cannons ready and load the Electronic rifles but do not open any ports."

Nastile: "Understood Admiral."

The command is carried out through the ship. A hundred mobile space time mines are fueled up while other ordinances are being loaded.

The Ravager taking notice of the Abh ship arming themselves sends a distress call out for military assitance. The Imperial Republic Space Navy gets it and begins mobleizing a small strike fleet to protect the Ravager. The Ravager targets the Abh ship's engines with its phasers. The Alpha warhead missiles are on standbye.




OOC: The Ravager is the Deatharon Flag ship.

Orbital controllers that coordinated System defenses saw the weapons and shields arm at the same time the Abh do, and send out a terse order to both vessels that arm themselves.

Seto manages to tear away from the shocked reactions of the others to answer back to Lady Carla and answeres somewhat hurriedly. "Yes, those will be fine... um, excuse us for a moment..."

She then stabs a look back at the data Padd. Even she never saw this coming. "Why the heck would he do this?" ..she puts with a rilled tone. The other two meanwhile keep looking the message within for a clue for several things to work off of.

Arashi stands and says.. "Let's head back to the Palace and see what Al did, or if he took anything."

"What about the Conference?" Tsunami asks, but Seto pegs in. "I'll handle these guys, you get that idiot back here. And give him a good kick in the arse for me will ya. I haven't known him to pull anything like this since the old days back on Earth.

Tsui and Arashi suddenly look at each other and.. "Earth..." ..both chime, and then suddenly rush past to head out of the Conference Center.

..half an hour after the data Padd was read, the 'entire' situation was known by all known space that the HPGs could reach.

The souls all around the Conference delegates was like it was a mass mourge. The Gaians felt hollow beyond easy comprehension to describe.

Admiral Trife received the message from the Gaians and sent a reply:
We were only merely taking precautions to protect ourselves. We shall lower our weapons as soon as the Scavanger lowers their weapons and shields. It is not our desire to turn this conference into a battle ground.

Carla sensed some wierd s**t was going down. All that running around by the Gaians and the other guests suggested that whatever war was going on; somebody just started it up again.

She put her hand on her M1911A1. She didn't take it out; it it would not be needed unless some real chingon went down. Her guards were not so cautious-they readied their R-1 lasguns to ensure nothing would happen to them.

Boy, she wished she was a psyker.

Xavier replied “well we have many things to trade, near perfect mfg goods, anti matter, hyper plasma, sentient nanite AI’s, we also look for allies we can.. trust .. if you would like to discuss the matter privetly some time?” he cleared his thought

Mean while the USS Ohio,
Captain” what the hell is going on!?” Ops rushing to his console tapping several buttouns “I don’t know ut the Deatharon war ship has powered its weapons and raised it shields sir.. they seem to have targeted the abh ship! ”

The captain sat in his chair looking back up to his ops officer saying “Red alert! Target the Deatharon ship”

The ops officer said rising an eyebrow “we may have more company soon the Deatharon ship sent word for reinforcements captain” The captain mumbled saying “crap” he looked over to helm rather quickly “put us between the abh ship and that Deatharon ship now!”
With that the helms men swiveled over to his console and tapped a few buttons moving the 642 m ship pretty quickly, With that the refitted galaxy class whooshed in front of both ships Turing to the Deatharon ship its phaser arrays hot and its tubes armed ( 14 phaser arrays instead of 12 and 8 torp tubes instead of 4)

Ops opened a frequency the captain, spoke “ This is the captain of the Federal star ship Ohio any attack on this abh ship and any other ship here will result in an act of war against the union and its allies, we will fire upon you and your other ships if you don’t stand down and if you fire against us or any other ship in the area, war is not necessary if you take time to speak we will listen to what you have to say we wish to resolve this diplomatically but if not I hope you chose what to write on your tomb stone” the comm. cuts

The Massive Imperial Guardian Ravager holds its position this time aming the Alpha Warhead missiles at the Ohio's bridge. A wormhole opened an strike fleet had arrived. This new fleet surrounds Ravager and beams up all the Deatharons execpt Marius and immediately start retreating out of the system.

The Imperial Republic is not trying to start a war but is trying to find Marius but has failed to do so.

The capitan of the Reman Warbird Maha ordered all Weapons systems online and Shields up.a message was sent to the Deatharon ship. Stand down or be destroyed this is your only warning

The Sight of Maha aiming at Ravager forced the entire fleet to cloak and wormhole out leaving poor Marius behind.

Reman Shock Troops the Elite of Blue Cosmos beamed on to Ravager. They searched the whole ship and only found Marius. The Squad Leader walked up to him " Surrender now and come with us. You are now a prisoner of Blue Cosmos." The Reman Troops kept their aim on Marius.

OOC: Marius was not beamed aboard General Krell was Marius is still in Ascendancy care.


IC: The Remain troops boarding Ravager. The Deatharon Flag ship, surpised the Captain and he ordered the Internal security forces to handle the crises.

IC: The Squad leader smiles " You called our bluff" he ordered his troops to lower their weapons

The Captain replied, "The Imperial Republic is trying to defend itself. We had to supress a coup led by the traitor Prince Alfred and will soon put him on trial for treason. We are currently looking for Colonel Marius are chosen diplomat. It seems the Imperial Council is getting edgey with Gaians pulling out military support and the Imperial Intelligence Core Led by the Mutant Lady Aluria is causeing for a push for more civil rights. In short we are in a mess at home."

" We can send a small fleet to guard your capital. We do not care what laws you put in place. We would only be there to make sure no outside power attacks or a coup to over throw the goverment takes place. Our fleets would be under your leaderships orders.

"Is this a Neo Zeta fleet or Blue Cosmos fleet?" ,Inquires the Captain The Internal Security personal were ready for a fight and the Ships internal phaser postions were trained on the Shock troopers.

In the midst of all the chaos taking place, there were two small pockets of eery calm.

One was a Med-Tech bay, where it was finally discovered, that Marius and several of the Marines he had had a fight with the previous night of rabble rousing, was discovered by Gaian attendants assigned to the room.

Considering the mess and the Conference itself, the details were lost upon the storm. It was here that Lord Tenchi finally learned of what happened, and as a result saw for himself that Marius was in a Bacta-heal tube, and not in a Genetic Refabricator. Hence, he was still alive when he was brought in, the same for the Marines.

Tenchi sighed a light relief type and looked to a ready at hand aide.

"Inform all parties that Lord Marius has been found, and in healing stasis. Stand all parites down. This is no time for fighting."

The aide manages to nod and head to send a message up to Comm-One and then to the various parties.

It's in the Confernece center that after a sudden and unplanned recess that Lady Seto finally returns, this time with Lord Tsutsumi in tow. With the added chaos that was occuring, she had both an announcement, and a message of her own.

"If I would have everyone's attention present." ..thus spoken in natural voice, and over over-comm to everyone within the System.

"It is indeed true. Lord Aleaic, our Excellency has indeed put himself into exile. His destination is as yet unknown, but we hope that this is a temporary situation, one that was apparently caused by circumstances that led to his Excellency to question too many moral details. Of most concern was the discord he thought was being caused by his decisions. More, he considered too much the possibility that our policies were becoming too harsh for what we stood for.

But I feel personally there's another reason for his actions. Too much immediate chaos and discord from 'many' of the parties present, due to the inability to find one person, that represented the best of what he came from, that being the ills of the Deatharon people. Too readiuly is their solution to use force to solve disputes, and despite the indicated stance we apparently mistook with them, their own Coup, and now this mess, shows that there too much expectation of the woprst of all factors for everything to resolve themselves around.

If there is nothing but war in your hearts, then this Conference and everything this nations stands for, despite his Excellency's inference, is being made a mockery of by every nation that saw the use of force as the 'only' resolution of things.

In this period of our Isolation, we are going to look deep within our souls to understand why it was felt we needed to mirror other nations with military actions, and try to come to terms with our inability to hold the peace, even over as trivial a matter as the location of a single Deatharon.

Trvial, because as I speak, several nations sent fleets, impuned harsh messages, and expected battles over OUR Homeworld! Considering we already saw a quater million of our souls extinguished by battle, we have no taste for more of the same. If we must be forced, we will demonstrate our Ionic diabiling capabilites and ensure a full and honored peace is stabilized, even if our name is blotched even further.

Our name. There was a time that our name was one i laughed at. It was even thought too flashy and needed a change.

Not one Gaian thinks that way by 'any' measure, and those that seek to marr our name know that we are the harshest arbiter of where our name stands, and will willingly destroy it if a greater good is needed under it's sacrifice. Such would come with many deaths of our kin, and by that, stand as the example of what our name 'truly' stands for.

It was the loos of face done by other nations that helped to precipitate this crisis, and a lack of faith in what we were. In the end, it's cost us a leader we 'still' hold in high regard, no matter what end result has occured.

When that day comes, I hope that other nations will have conducted themselves with the same accord that we have, and try to look deep within themselves, and find new paths to follow that lead to peace, honor and justice.

Until then, we ask all forces to 'stand down', no reason whatsoever is worth the deaths of other souls upon our eyes to watch. This will not occur, and we 'expect' this declaration to be honored.

I have said my peace, as much as I can for now." Seto then stops and feels her husbands hands on her shoulders.

The fleet would be lead by Admiral Scar all ships would be None Blue Cosmos. due to the events during the Deatharon War would not be welcomed anyway. However if relations could be worked out between Blue Cosmos and Deatharon that would be good. Blue Cosmos could send more ships then us at the moment

The Captain replies after tranmitting some highly coded messages to the Imperial Republic, "We will allow the fleet and Blue Cosmos forces as well but any action taken by them agianst the people of Deatharon Loyal to the Imperial Republic, will be seen as a neo Zeta breach in honor and thus and act of war."

" We understand. The 22nd Blue Cosmos Fleet lead by Admiral Scar will arive in 6 hours. There they will await your leaderships orders. If ground troops are needed please give us 10 mintues to send them down."

"The Imperial Republic already has Panther pride taking care of the Ground force work. Keep in mind the Imperial Republic is on lock down and will be heavily guarded in all systems. The Panther Fleet is currently guarding Deatharon Prime they will share the job with your forces."

There still may be a way for things to be worked out. The alliance talks woth the TPF and Abh for one, and any other trade wished. The catch this time is that myself and my husband Tsutsumi here are the technoical, and hopefully temporary, leaders of the Ascendancy.

Our entire Council however is united, and with the empowerment by his Excellency, can still cinduct matters as seen fit.

Our gate system is a bit different from normal ones. Rather than a normal coordinate system driven by amounts of energy input, we use the reverse. A Energy system that creates coordinates by the tones of the energy signals used. Since there are so many such sounds, even moreso dependant on dimensional signals of even more types..

..the gate network we use is not so much a larger one, but a more secure one, since the number of signals is nigh infinite.

We'd be happy to teach ya, but the two systems are somewhat incompatible. Upgrades would be required.

Cylinia nodded, sighing. "Well, Trusted allies are needed, the Everkingdom would be happy to have allies such as yourself, so...It wouldn't really matter." She noticed the agravation of those around us, and sighed. Something was up, and yet she was making a treaty here. She thought, just for a minute, right before her hands moved in an intricate pattern.

And she appered on the other side of the room. Now this was not an easy feat. making two bodies had bad effects, especially when it came time to get rid of them. Those who had been trained however, could do it. Cylinia Two moved around the room, asking about what was happening outside.

Lord Dusanyu stood and said, "I shall await you in the chamber." He bowed and went off to go collect Jinto and Lafiel.

After collecting the two, he lead them out of the conference and into the chamber where they would await to discuss their alliance.

Carla took in the sights and sounds like a foreign tourist first visiting the Grand Canyon. The wonder of the crystal clear seas, the clean air, the shining sun that glowed like a heavenly light- the almost mythic quality of the place seemed overwhelming.

She gazed in awe at the opulence of her surroundings-New Dornalia was a rathole compared to this place- and said, "My God....it's beautiful."

Jinto received a message on his cluyuno from one of her highness's diplomats.

Count Hyde, your presence is requested on the battle field where the 2nd and 3rd fleets are preparing to engage in battle along side the United States. A shuttle is already being sent to you.

Jinto stood and bowed to Lord Dusanyu. "It appears my presence is requested else where. War has broken out and I am needed on the commanding ship. If you'll excuse me m'Lord." He walked over to Lafiel and kissed his wife goodbye.

Lafiel: "Be careful."

Dusanyu: "Good luck. My fleet may join you shortly if this gets boring"

Later a shuttle arrived and picked Count Hyde up from the docks. The shuttle warped to space time. It's destination, the Lachkue to meet with Admiral Spoor.

General Krell recieved word from his communicator that the Imperial Republic of Deatharon had offically joined The Republic. The General thought to himself this could be intresting.

":: We will be arriving in a few moments. Do be mindful of the Climatizer storm programmed to hit the area in the next few hours. ::"

The shuttle then passes through a more cloud laden layer, as they passed somewhat close to Infinity Tower, one of the massive StarLadder complexes that ran all the way up into one of the Skyhook StarBases that held geosynchronis orbit over the world. The Ladders were commonplace throughout the Republic Core Worlds, but this ladder was the second eldest in the entire Ascendancy.

The base of the StarLadder was well over thrity kilometers in total square kilometers, and was a bonified city itself without the Ladder, which led to a sister city that resided in orbit. (Another commonplace bit there.) The city was a very busy place, moreso than the capital itself, since the StarLadder cities also acted as heavy commerce centers, as attested to the heavy startraffic that came into the area.

The surrounding area of the city zone was filled with side industrial areas, as well as massive ZPF Core Plants, construction centers, and several Touman bases for the different arms of the Gaian military might. Mixed within were several arcopolises and other superscrapers that rose from the edge of main city. But it was at the extreme edge of the city area where the special fabrication facilities dwelt, as well as several Molecular Recomposition smelter facilities.

A Spiderglass facility dwelt near a series of advanced electronics centers. Suthwest of the city was where the StarGate Fabrication Center was. Here the shuttle lowered into a deep mountain valley, surrounded by thick forests and under threatening skies. Several rays of sunlight curtained onto the landscape. Here the shuttle lands in the midst of an unexpected sight for a fabrication center. The buildings were a gleaming silver, and crystalic glass set of structures. The center foundation was a chrome like surface, with squaqrish patches of white stone, with glowing lines upon the surface that led to other sections of the facility. The facility took up a good five kilometers, and was constantly fed by incoming shipments of special materials from many sectors of the Ascendancy Sphere, as well as the nearby Molecular Plants.

"Well, were here." Washu simply announces just as the shuttle lands and the hatch opens to let the passengers out.

Lady Seto meanwhile looks on as Lord Jinto is called away to an apparent war. She asks.. "Will your nation be capable of handling the situation? Is there any assistance we can lend to your nation?"

General Krell walks out and thinks that was quite an intresting ride.

Dusanyu smiled. "Do not fear, Lady Seto. Our nation is quite capable of handling this. You have just come off the end of a terrible war. The best thing you can do for us is to stay out and rebuild your nation. I have no desire to see more of your people die."

He sighed. "Enough of unpleasantries. What shall we discuss?"

Lady Seto nods. "You are probably right. But in essence, only one planet and barely a third of our military needed rebuilding. In actualy, were stronger now than we were at the beginning of the Deatharon War.

Our assistance would be to mainly boost your nation's civilian sector resources, allowing your military more flexibility to conduct your own war with more expediency."

Lady Seto then leans back in her seat, and starts. "Considering were already agreed on the major aspects of the treaty, we should probably discuss knowledge of other nations with each other.

Also, we should discuss about things like laws within each nation, and other details that will help when any of our citizens are in our respective nations for any reason."

General Krell asks Washu a question, "Where you the one who figured out how to overcome our Nano bot technology during the Deatharon Gaian war?"

Washu looks back at General Krell. "Yes, but how is still my own secret recipie. Besides, I'm still imporving on it too. What with the dry rub and all that." ..she puts less than clear as usual.

She takes the group towards a massive stadium sized structure, one with strange ethereal wisps coming from it. Several work Mechs can be seen carrying glowing storage cubes from several storage units to this building.

General Krell responds, "I figured we are starting using Ancient tech to combat the problem to make the next generation nano bots more capable to deal with the countermeasures used by the Gaians."

Dusanyu nodded at Lady Seto's words. "As far as laws go and punishments, I believe we should make them standard. What I mean is, there are certain laws that are standard everywhere such as murder, theft, and etc. The only thing that will vary is punishment and that shall be up to the nation that the crime was committed in. I only ask that punishments apply to every citizen equally. By sheer natural law everyone will understand crime. There are just some laws that never change. As far as information about other nations, who did you have in mind?"

Washu nods. "That would be interesting to see. But then were allies now, or at least that's what I keep being told. Moreover, whatever is used upon us is usually learned about very quickly.

They then approach a small entryway, and the guests start to have the ethereal wisph about them. They start to feel a strange tingle as a result through their bodies.

Washu commented back to Lady Carla. "A by product of the way we make our gates. Quite bluntly, not everything done here is normal construction practice." Washu then stops and warns the others. "Might as well warn ya now. What you see in here is as much metaphysical, as physical construction.

Washu and Belldandy then enter the facility first, and the first sight that greets them, is three Angel God guards, with an Angelic warrior discussing typical gaian stuff with them, who all then stand attention when the two Council Members come in. Washu gives security approval to the guests, though each is required to wear a strange badge that's reminiscent of a radiation badge.

When they enter, they seem to enter nothing like the sturcture outside, as the entire interior is heavily crystal laden, and beams of light keep angling in certain places. There's also a very 'strange' oiled glass like sound vibrating in the structure, that changes pitch both regularly, and hypnotically.

..hence the guests are given special ear muffs as well. Washu explains.. "Sorry, but too much exposure to this noise is truly hypnotic to the mind. If you'll follow me please. And 'please' follow me rather than wander."

They begin to dwell into the New Age looking interior, with a even thicker haze of ethereal matter.

Lady Seto nods her appreciation to Dusanyu and Lafiel and escort them onto the spacious shuttle once it arrives. When ready, they Seto commands the shuttle to head further inward of the continent where Jurai`alheim lies.

Lady Seto then explains. "The discussion about works of art and such, would do better if you had a far more expansive venue to create new works from. The interesting thing about being on a world that was premade before our arrival by over a billion years, is that the creators had a flair for artistry on a grand scale.

The Ascendants used their own planets as canvases, and the idea of trade of art, would be more than just a few holo pictures."

Lady Seto stops, and turns her head towards the port viewports, and there, deep within the Ascendant Mountain Chain, lies an incredible sight. A deep cleft of a mountain valley that has a ring of hundreds of waterfalls that continuously curtain down, with no sign of a water source nearby. The falls literally flood out from within the mountains, all snow capped with thick glacers, and all this flowing deep into a nearly hidden river, hidden because the river is covered by a thick haze of outflow, that cuases the light from above to catch it all and create multiple rainbows, which reflect off the surfaces of the mountains, and cascade even more rainbows all over.

Lady Seto smirks. "That.. is 'not' naturally made. You guys want to name it? Calling it 'Rainbow Falls' sounds silly, and we haven't gotten around to it.

...and there's hundreds more of these 'canvases' all over the Republic Core Worlds. We honestly don't know how to approach the level of artistry the Ascendants called 'commonplace' for them.

General Krell watched all the intresting sights like the Angel God Warriors and other stuff to him were such intresting sights for a Deatharon Military man.

Dusanyu and Lafiel stare at the majestic waterfall in awe. A scene like this cannot be found in space where the abh live. Only art that is brought to their orbiting cities gives them a notion of the art that can be found on planets.

Dusanyu: "I think Admiral Bebaus would have liked this. So would have Spoor. They both have an artistic flayer."

Lafiel turned to Lady Seto. "We could not possibly name this. Something so beautiful perhaps should not be named."

Lady Seto then detailed it out. "Then it can't be named, only enjoyed. The idea of trade in this case, is to trade upon a 'tourisim' aspect, where instead of just holoimages and such, your citizens pay a tiny fee into a fund that helps maintain services for these views, and we do the same for yours. All this, so that citizens from both sides can simply come and enjoy the views that another side would not be able to view without worrying about silly passports and such.

..call it, and open border tourist policy, and all that would be needed, is a quick security check by both sides, to ensure security, for the previlige for these views."

Lady Seto then gets to more brass tacks. "Also, I'd like to offer a trade of genetic resources, to strengthen bloodlines on both sides, where desired. Yor affinity to space would boost our own capability, and our bloodlines would give you far more insights and capabilities. As such, we are willing to trade rights to genetic refabrication and genetic sibikko canister, with growth acceleration to better take advantage of our genes given. Any kind of medical sicence you possess that would enhance our understandings and extensions of lifespans, would be acceptable leverage."

Lady Seto then looks on. "..and a third, and it was offered between the Council recently by Lady Washu, but with all the events, hasn't been attended to properly. As you are more spacebound than anyone we've met as a cvilization, not to mention technologically capable, it'd be an interesting project if we worked on this together."

Seto then levels it in. "A massive spaceborne library archive, set within a massive space station like effidice. Not just a simple star base or anything simplistic, but rather, if I understood right, a large black block, shaped like that 2001 movie Monolith thing. It'd be a large series of archival storage blocks that have two way informational access holo lines.

It'd be a project that was endless. Each block holds hundreds of terrabyes of information, and those blocks are melded together, constantly growing with more blocks, over and over, as information keeps growing, that is, all types of information.

I was told the size of the archive could be endless, dependant only on gravity effects on nearby celestial bodies, even planets and stars.

But this idea needs a foundation, and it was wondered if your nation could help us build the first steps in this archive. Course, it's only an idea at present."

Lafiel and Dusanyu thought over the proposals. Both were a bit surprised at it all.

Dusanyu: "As far as an open border tourist policy, I would say that would not be a problem. We have many planets in our Empire with many beautiful scenes. I have not seen them myself since I am an Abh but the princess's husband is from the planet Martine where she says there are countless scenes to view."

Lafiel: "As you may know, the Abh are already genetically engineered in a sort of way. We were created on the base for deep space exploration. Parents choose the genes they want implemented in their child. I have no doubt that an added option for another culture to be present in their child with some of your capabilities, would be approved. As a wife and mother though, my husband and I still used our own genes for our son. He is what the Abh call a 'Son of Love' because no genes were altered. I am curious as to age expantion. Would it be possible to implement it into others that have already been born? Other than night I think gene sharing under certain guidlines, I might add, would be approved."

Dusanyu: "Now this idea of a vast archive is intriguing to say the very least. Luckily we already have archives prepared back at our palace so that could speed our end of the project up considerably. Our nation would be honored to provide the first steps in this project."

Two primary La Grange points are also being tested for the same thing, to put the Archive in a proper area for maximum protection.

As for the life extension stuff, we've made it a major medical science to give as much as quadrupled lifespans to all our citizens. This is so that they have more years to contribute to the Ascendancy, and that feeds upon itself in a cyclic loop that ends up giving more citizens, more expansion, more education, more everything. Yes good and bad, but we can handle the bad, since it's meager in comparisson to many other nations.

Lady Seto considers for a moment, and wonders if telling about a major Ascendancy secret should be told, whether friend or foe.

She decides to test the bounds of trust. "What I say here, can't leave here until it's officially unveiled. We've been working on several major projects since the Battle of White Diamond, after the Dominion attacked.

One of them revolves around a major defense mechanisim meant to prevent a large fleet battle from becoming a war of attrition, when we're trying to stop the battle fast in the first place.

Currently at our Emerald Treeship Yards, were growing a new series of Treeships, that will be dedicated to projecting enourmous shields that can cover multiple Fleet Groups, or in the case of the Archive, large strategic of important assets." Seto leans in. "I can get ya a sneak peak, if you can keep a secret."

Dusanyu and Lafiel both leaned in. "This does sound interesting. A look would be wonderful because I am still a little curious as to what this exactly is. When can we see it?"

Lady Seto smiles, and then snaps her fingers above her head. "Take us to the Treeship Facility."

..at that, the shuttle suddenly darts upward with no intertia feel to the occupants, and within moments, the shuttle exists the atmosphere of White Diamond/Sapphire.

"..we should be at the Emerald orbital node in about fifteen minutes. In the meantime, do you wish any drinks?" ..as Seto asks the nearby concealed replicator for a glass of juice.

The shuttle meanwhile zips along a straight path, giving excellent views of all kinds of vessels going to and fro, as well as Folding in and out. The also at someplace in midlfight, get to see the immense JumpChulip SuperStation Network, and the massive flow of traffic heading towards it like a titanic star-superhighway. ((OC- If you've seen Martian Successor Nadesico: The Prince of Darkness, the SuperStation is like Ameterasu, but about twice in size. [And twice everything else...] ))

Lady Washu comments back as they waltz deeper into an area that looks less and less solid to the eye, and more and more ethereal and phasic. "We use a special composite crystal that we grow that can handle their subatomic structures realigned to accept a cetain type and set of tones that are as much melded in, and as much programmed in."

They then suddenly hear a massive pitch change in the strange oiled glass sound they're hearing. "Ah, and in fact, here we go."

..they pass under neath a long row of giant glass like blocks that are shaped like arcs for a large ring structure, that hang perpendicular to their current path. They then pass one of the critical station in the process they came to see.

The come across a deep holding bin, as a series of bright lasers literally fire into a set glass block, with the light the actual 'source' of the sound they're hearing. Some lasers are cutting into the block, and others are cutting into the various asrtal, subspace, and phasic elements of the block to 'program' the appropriate sound coordinate into the block. Up close, the block looks like a glowing window into heaven itself, and the edges of the block are glowing with sharp clarity. As the lasers do their job, the block begins to take shape with a series of interconnected 'dots' that look liks bright blue starts that poke out from the glassy surface.

Washu then adds.. "Right now, about a million different sound tones are being integrated into the block. That will allow a large coordinate node for the block to use when accepting coordinate commands." ..she then stops and let's the sight do it's work.

Lafiel leaned over to the machine. "A Teal lome please with a slice of Lope."

Dusanyu looked out at all the traffic. "Some of this is simply amazing. How old is some of this technology of yours?"

Seto comments with the request ordered and handed over to Lady Lafiel. "Some are as old as the Ascendancy itself, still only a few decades old, but with the heavy automation of the Yards, most vessels can claim a near impeccable operations log.

As we acquire new designs from various sources, we integrate them into the Gaian tech base, and some designs are then imporved to give better efficiency and safety to their crews. Even droid vessels are treated the same, and that allows maximum efficency, in a realm that isn't old enough to seemingly justify the vast traffic you see out there.

..but then, his Excellency did insist that waiting on anything, when it could be avoided, was foolish for a growing nation. By the end of this half century, we should be on par to make continued expansions that continue to gain momentum from these simple concepts.

Seto sips her cup, just as they begin to gain note of the supergiant world of Emerald. By the time they draw close, and see more of the same kind of traffic and sights they had seen on White Diamond, they also see that the planet, the size of Jupiter, rings and all, is yet a 'non- gass giant world, and rather a true terrestrial world like White Diamond or Terra.

The extra size means that much more is stuffed to the eye in detail, such as orbital stations and vast Yards, and terrestrial sight such as a city that's in size larger than half of White Diamond is in half-hemisphereic diameter.

"Welcome to Emerald." ..Seto announces, indicated by the deep green color the atmosphere holds. They begin to draw closer to yet more star traffic, though they are already given advance clearance to head to the upper northern pole of the planet.

Dusanyu and Lafiel both said in unison, "fascinating!"

Lafiel set down her cup down and walked around. "Where are we headed now for the sneak peak?"

Just as the shuttle begins to fly through the emerald-green and white rings that orbit Emerald at the equatorial plane presently, and fly ever more northward. "To the northern magnetic field of thid planet. The massive field there hides the special yards from most sensors, and the rest hidden by a large cloaking shield and other sensor security add-ons.

..that, and we have three Ionic Cannon Destroyers aimed at us right now. It's a heafty secret to hide here."

..just then, some rough and terse comm-speech is head from the pilot area, and Seto acknowledged to give her special security signal. ":: Comm-One/Six Special Party Class-Three. 18943.F/44.3129 Sweep code and change upon arrival. ::"

At that, Seto sighs. "Forget memorizing, the code is useless like a dirty bandaid from a wound that was gangrenous. It's pretty tough to get a code anyway."

At that, the shuttle suddenly enters a warping phasic field that distorts all the starlight.

Dusanyu: "The security measures for this facility is staggering. Just think how much damage our fleet could do if all of our ships had this much stealth. This must be really something if you have this tight of security."

Seto says nothing, as the next scene will say everything needed. The cloak field run a good 300 meters from end to end, all around the facility. The Abh don't realize the field is also a massive stun field that is temporarily 'disabled' to prevent the shuttle from being hit with enough stun effect to render an entire crew of an ASSD Warship (droids and mortals alike) unconscious. The idea was discovered after scans of a strange field from a Nebulae like complex that held an Ascendant Library within it.

The closest approximation was the Galactic Leyline, in apperance and effect.

But this is secondary, as the shuttle breaks through the field, and the Abh see it for the first time. view of open space is clear as crystal, and the planet below panoramic.

Which frames the single largest tree like structure ever seen. It dwarfs all the Holy Palace Trees in the Ascendancy by triple their combined sizes. The Emerald Hikrai Treeship Yards is in essence, looking at a massive Tree trunk, with vast Tree 'tops on both ends, top and bottom. The branches extend for hundreds of kilometers across, and around, like a single massive tree normally does. The greens of actual leaves cover thickly both 'ends' of the canopies of branches. the entire living Yard is over 7,000 kilometers long, 3,500 kilometers top to bottom, and looked like a tree like version of an old Cylon BaseStar.

The catch was, the branches, and even the leaves, were patterned in a logical way, almost looking like the beams and structures of a normal Dock-Yard. Within the entire structure, tens of thousands of specializes carving droids float around, carving, polishing, mentoring, nurturing, and expanding the now literally tens of thousands of Hikari Treeships within. Not seen, are the hundreds of thousands of human and assorted Gaian citizen soul master carvers. The trunk of the massive Dock-Yard Tree has hundreds of dock sector saucer sections, like a StarBase SpaceDock. There are literally hundreds of thousands of specific areas that enclose all function needed for the Yard. The only thing missing from this Yard, is oversized Molecular Foundries. Only a few smaller types are melded into the Tree and branch sections, to conctruct components for the growing Treeships.

Each vessel is literally grown from a Hikari Seed, into a extensia Tree of the parent Partnership. The Tree within is then grown through accelerated growth functions. As the tree is grown into a shape all it's own, the carvers mold and sculpt the shape into a hugemonious structure that makes the vessel both beautiful, as well as efficient. The vessels are seen through the light beige-brown and various green pigmented canopy branches, as their hulls are a bright whitewood, the organic version of whitestone and whitesteel.

The forms taken are mostly avian shaped, in regards to the Ascendants, an emulation of respect. The function however goes further than that. As the vessel is grown, all sorts of standard power and communication lines, along with all normal primary and subsystems a vessel needs, is integrated into a computer control system specially designed to allow the Tree to control the vessel along side a set crew, or in the cases of High Generation vessels, control then from the mind of the Parter User alone.

A Hikari User, through their emphatic Link, can control all aspects of a vessel with their own mind. Lower Generation vessels need more crews, and thereby less singular control. All vessels however share one single aspect, a Dimensional Habitation Unit, a saucer shaped unit, etched and carved with glyphs and artistry to signify their beauty, holds the single most far reaching secret of Ascendancy technology. Dimensional poocket stabilization. The technology so far was only possible in a controlled, enclosed space. A Unit can generate and stabilize a dimensional reality zone, to establish a habilation layer that can look like whatever the owner desires of it. Or in the case of lower Generations, whatever their commanding officers decide it should look like. A habitation Unit within, can look like an entire mountain valley, many kilometers across, and all of it 'real'. (..no holograms whatsoever...)

But even this, is still not the true focus of the trip.

"Welcome to the Hidden Fleet. Of what you see here, only a few of the highest Generation vessels have been dispatched, and those with either little dispatch or major escort to avoid any detection where not wanted.

The only main show of use of these was a recent diplomatic event where we helped the Celsanid civilization find a new Star System. Three Hikari Treeships were sent, but returned not too long after.

Seto then focuses on a cluster of smaller Trees. Large Spacetrees about half the size of a Palace Tree, but also double ended with a thick 'plate' of whitesteel and spiderglass where the tree ends meld. each plat was three massive fins that just both above and below from the plate. Not seen, are the hundreds of mini bit-droids that project a shield that allow an atmosphere within it, though a large control 'bridge' and other normal vessel functionaries are included.

"Those are what would protect the Archive. The Hikari Shield Trees. They're designed to project both standard shield arrays, as well as focused strength Angelhawk Wings that can cover part of an entire Fleet Group. Three Shield Trees can cover as much as three full Groups.

We have fifty grown so far, and can keep growing with near unlimited capacity so in as long as new Tree Alcoves are also grown and expanded over all of Ascendancy Space.

But the best part is that the effects of all Treeships, Shield Trees and Parent Partner Trees are both unilateral and self-sustaining through it's Interlinks. A Shield Tree can send it's power to protect, to a Palace Tree from anywhere in effective space, and a Treeship can attain extra power from any other tree in an emergency.

With amplified effect, a single Treeship Fleet Group with combined Tree effect can devestate a fleet as much as five times it's size.

..and that's conservative."

Seto then sighs. "That much power from living things. And where more life is grown, more power is added. It befits us very well." Lady Seto then stops the shuttle to give the proper effect for a few minutes.

Dusanyu looked around the area. Both he and Lafiel were amazed at it all. "Well I guess this rules out a coalition force guarding the archives. These ships alone border on over-kill. How are there defenses?"

Lafiel: "What would be the size of the crew for a ship like this?"

Washu puts back.. "We can have some attend our Universities and Academies that are spread throughout the Ascendancy Sphere. There are thousands to choose from on many worlds.

Now, if everyone will come this way to see the smelters that make the glass blocks for the gates." ..and she starts off again before prolonged exposure gets to the guests.

Seto leans back and considers, opening up her bento fan. "Well, my own vessel only needs a crew of about twenty, as most the rest of the functions are handled by the onboard Tree.

The more standard vessels are crewed by no more than 150, depending on vessel type. Also, most vessels are no larger than corvettes or light crusiers, yet have the compact power of larger vessels within.

Still, they are not totally fully developed yet. Like I said, there's still some time needed before they are all ready."

Lafiel: "I would love to be around when these are tested for battle capabilities. I'm curious to see them in action."

General Krell replies, "They would appericate that thank you." He then starts watching the gate creation process.

Seto is about to reply, when she suddenly feels a dull chill throughout her entire body. Before she knows what is happening...............

The Abh watching the sights, just as Seto, Washu and Belldandy... and in fact every major Hikari Power user neqarest the Trees, suddenly are hit with a comatic wave of unconsiousness that essentially knockes out the entire leadership, without any warning...

..except for when the Abh realize this by sight, as do the others on White Diamond, a tragedy makes itself apparent.

The Tree-Yard suddenly begins to 'wilt' with the same effect, as whole swaths of leaves turn black like they were burned and charred. The thing they 'don't' hear, is the severely mournful wail of the Trees.

The wail sense that they are losing their life energy, and wail as their Partners all over Ascendancy space suddenly collapse!!!

The Exile is having it's final effect.

General Krell watches all of these with a surpised look on his face. The Gaians in trouble this had never occured as far as Deatharon was concerned and here they were not feeling well?

Carla said angrily, "Again? Would soembody tell me what in Lenin's name is going on!?"

She was kinda miffed at all of these interruptions. This was a hell of a way to host a meet, and she decided that if anybody tried to hurt her, some whoop-ass would be in order.

She once again called for her Guards to arm their R-1s, and she reached for her M1911A1. She would not go down without a fight.

..and that was lent to the Users. No one, not even the Trees could have predicted what the effect of having a Representative Power as a Partern User would actually have. The entire Link was one enourmous emotional Link.

By the emotions of the User and the intent of the power Used, was the effect that gave the Angelhawk Wings and other mystic aspects physical form upon the Mortal Planes.

But it ran both ways. The emotonal Link was fed both ways, and once the Exile of the Representative Power began, is unknowingly threatened the Subspace layer that the Trees drew sustenance and power from, and lended from, was now being fed back the emotional scars from the Excellency himself.

The minor wave that rippled at the start of the Exile, only amplified in the following days of the Exile. The feedback fed into the Subspace layer, and that infinite layer, with no boundry or stopgap in the realms of dimensional science and physics was taking that emotional wave, and creating it's own feedback loop.

...that loop was like the effect of a growing negative particle wave, destabilizing a positive wave. Those that know what anti-matter and matter effects upon combining cause, know that this is very little in difference.

The wave loop had grown so devestating in size, all known reality was under true threat. And no one knew it.

..except one that was about to deal with the exiled 'cause'.

As Peorth and every other User lay dying, the final corner in an ancient destiny is about to be forced the final hand.

The Pounding forced the Deatharon ship to employ the nano bots to repair any major damages. The shields and armor were hit the hardest.

IC The Blue Cosmos ships took some damage but their Shields held. They were as stroung as Gaians but used a diffrent method.

The Admiral become impationt waiting for the Gaian Reply.

He ordered the ground forces to ready and land to insure stablity of the gaians.

The Ravager stayed in position and kept repairing itself the armor was nearly repaired.

Premier MacIntyre was getting impaitent.

MacIntyre said, "F**k this. Send the Mao. We need a presence there."

This begins the end of the Black Wilt, the several hours of pain that tortured an Ascendancy. It is replaced by the Final Test. This begins with the apparent 'glow' that suddenly is starting to cover over all the Hikari Users. Obviously it starts with the senior Family members, with the likes of Seto, Washu, Belldandy and others, suddenly having their bodies start glowing with a haolic light.

This is continue all over the Ascendancy over the next few minutes.

As the Repair commenced, Lady Seto, having been taken to a nearby StarBase still within the Tree-Yards, to a Med-Tech Center, and within view of the Abh, as well as all the others looking after the hundreds of the comatose Hikari Users, then watch as the healing glow of eternal starlight sends the light into all eyes..

...for Washu and Belldandy, as well as Skuld and Akito, and everyone else. Yurika in her StarFleet office, Azusa and Tsutsumi in a Mech Factory, Ifurita training Angel Gods, Tenchi, Yosho, Kosihito, Peorth already accounted for...

..Aleaic's Family on Earth as well. Arashi, Sasami and Misao in a Commerce Mall on New Texas Prime. Urd and Shayla Shayla in a Pub somewhere in Jurai`alheim, these and too many more, all friends and family, become a part of the Repair.

In the end of all the of the miracle, everyone manages to awake and recover conscious thought in time to hear...

Seto, laying on her Med-bed, sighs to herself. "About damn time kid. About damn time."

Washu and Belldandy meanwhile, awaking from being lain outside the fabrication center, along with several other personel that were Users, recover, and shortly after hearing, end up in an on the spot joyous celebration!

If it looks wierd to outsiders, they don't realize how much this all means.

General Krell notices everything seems to be fine so he orders to beam down to were he was the transporter beams him down to where he was when Washu was showing the Gate making process.

IC: Dusanyu and Lafiel paced outside of Lady Seto's med-bed.

Lafiel: "I hope she will be alright."
Dusanyu: "I have no doubt that she will. The Gaians appear to be a strong people though there are things that go on that we do not understand. The only thing we can do at the moment is stay by their side and help relieve any pain that we can. Also pray that Admiral Trife is alright in space."

COS: "It appears that our shields were completely destroyed in that blast and engine output has been reduced by .9!"
Trife: "BLAST! Get our engine crew down there to repair it. Shields will take a low priority. We'll just have to trust the Gaians to protect us for the time being."

Literally a moment after Dusanyu speaks, a Med-Tech comes in and looks at the Abh. "Pardon, but Lady Seto has asked for your precense." ..and then guestures behind himself through the hatchway.

Washu and Belldandy, after recovering enough, are advised by other techs and citizen souls to seek medical treatment. Washu of course deniegs with her caustic ego. Belldandy however.. "We should return to the palace nonetheless and ensure all is well. We don't know what has occured during our incapacity."

Washu looks and nods. Then she looks at the other delegations remaining that haven't left. "We're heading back the barn, your own auspices are your own. I anticipate you'd all like to know the status of your own realms."

In methodical short order, Gaian defense networks, fleet status, and overall health of the various Advisory functionaries throughout the Ascendancy Sphere. Priority is given first to automated defenses while the overall checksum is conducted.

Within hours, the mess will regain logical form, and the basic defense strength of the Ascendancy, as well as it's sembelance of normal activities will return. It'll take a good two weeks to fully return to full strength, though this is accelerated some by the joy of the end of the Exile.

If some were wondering if this was a matter of a blessed people worrying about their powers being lost. Then the Ascendancy would have used the Hikari Power in a far more warmongering stance than coukd be imagined. That kind of terrible, terrible power, would have been so far hoarded, that such a mind couldn't have cared for worrying about emotional states, nor even the works the Ascendancy takes to heart.

The Partnerships was more about worrying about the 'life' of the Partner when the Wilt took hold, rather than the power that was being lost. Sure, losing power is fine and dandy, but 'any' such loss would have resulted in the same effect.

Death...

..the Partnerships were so deep, so intertwined, that using a power was a consequence that hurt the Tree, and the User took that in consideration when using the Power of Hikari. A Dead Tree was a dead Partner User, and reverse, a dead Partner User left a Tree that was at such a loss, having to live with the knowledge of that death for the rest of it's existence.

...such that could last tens of thousands of years..

..if not longer.

The power itself was a byproduct in the end, a tool to conduct the Guardianship, and in the end, Power meant littte, verses the lives at consequence above the power.

Over the next few days, User Partners would go out of their way, even going AWOL from duty, so as to reach their Partner Tree and ensure the Tree is alright.

The Partnership was another form of Family, and that fell into the Ascendancy Core Values perfectly. Power was a pathetic tertiary matter in the end.

..a few minutes later, three droid tugs tractor the White Star to a nearby yard to begin repairs.

Lady Seto sits up in her Med bed, and waves away a holoscreen that she was looking at. "Aye...

...guess we just showed out greatest weakness to you."

Dusanyu: "I see, so that's what that was. Well you could have made some new enemies this day but don't worry, if it is your desire we can have a fleet rotation in your area if you so wish to help protect against a future problem."

Lafiel: "What did you want to see us about?"

General Krell lands inside the palace seems the beam was off target oh well thought Krell time to yell at the Chief of engineering.

A plane (that looks strangly like austin power's jumbo jet from the outside) flies at a top speed of mock 3 flies through all of the sheild and land on a platform marked ROTTEN BACON. Five minutes after landing a series of police generals line up along the plat form. Soon a lage figure dressed completly in black walks out of the plane. This is general Juan Tabonya was on his name tag. He moves to go find his chamber while signalling the gaurds to go patrol the conferance gorund with the others.

Seto smiles, then adds. "The defense is up to you, as those that come will be allowed access to our worlds. If you don't mind, we'll send a Fleet Group of our own as equal measure, since we don't like debts.

But more... if you could for us, considering the nature of the nations and alliances out there these days, find some way to find other nations of your size and stature, that would be willing to become part of a larger alliance that looks to hold ideals we would like to think we could hold up on our own.

Keep peace and stability over all else. Even war.

However, we know we are not capable on our own, nor should we seek the lead in such endeavors. I think it's time to ask for extended aid to help do the job we seek.

In a month, would you help us find nations that will join ours and prevent wars, by simply being the shield of peace? Not pacifism or disarmament, but simply peace for it's own sake.

The various parties were asked to return to the Conference chamber, so that talks could both continue, and the Gaians understand the various national stances due to the event that occured.

The General heads to the Conference room and decides to walk. He did not trust the beaming transporter.

Dusanyu smiled "I think you should know why the Abh used to dominate territories in it's own region. We knew that galactic war would eventually erupt due to the inevitable trade disagreements and sheer common sense would dictate that war would break out. With all systems under one ruler, war would be avoided. Unfortunatly with the way the universe is these days, there are too many nations and we don't have the resources to conquer everyone that doesnot wish to become an ally." He laughed out loud "I would also bet that is not the solution you were looking to for nations that are against being your ally. But though our method was different, it was with the same intention. Oh on another note, don't worry about debts to us. Just think of us doing you a favor."

Dusanyu punched in a code 57-96 on his cluyuno and a fleet was on it's way to patrol the region around the conference.

Seto replies. "A Favor still needs repayment in the end. In anycase, forcing alliances isn't the objective, and nor actually forcing policies on other nations, but rather the loss of life is the intent we seek.

Death is so... abhorrent.... when you take into account how much space in existence there is to spread that same life, not neccessarily our own, that is seems needless to see anything or anyone ever die.

That kind of loss... just never made sense. And now more than ever after what happened, even if it goes against all conventions that are accepted, I even see such as criminal.

Knowing one civilization that ascended, and another that is of Heaven itself, makes one wonder what place death itself has anymore."

Seto looks at Dusanyu. "That's the actual intent." ..and leans back again. "Actually, I have my own little dream. Quite a good one too..."

General Krell makes it to the main conference room and waits for the other delegates. He decides to read his private issue of Phasers and Disrupters while he waits.

Carla walked back into the chamber and said, "Yeah...I know what's going on now....so lemme recall the Mao, so that we can calm down a little. Unless people want a visit."

After a bit, Lord Akito and Lady Belldandy enter the chamber, the latter having been cleared from a nearby Med-Center in the Tree, and Washu heading back to the NAIS complex the Conference chamber is in.

They arrive dressed rather normally.

Dusanyu leaned back against the wall with his arms crossed "I agree with your statements. It is no longer in our best interest to conquor anyone. We merely preserve our empire. Anyways if you don't mind, please share with us your dream."

An hour later Admiral Muchaso's fleet arrived in the area to reinforce the defense. At that time the white star left the docks to rendezvous with the fleet.

After a bit, Lord Akito and Lady Belldandy enter the chamber, the latter having been cleared from a nearby Med-Center in the Tree, and Washu heading back to the NAIS complex the Conference chamber is in.

They arrive dressed rather normally.

Carla then said, "I hope you've recovered well. That was quite a show, I must admit....thank the People's Will it is over."

She then said, "If it is not too soon....when can we negotiate the purchase of some Stargate Technology?"

Lady Belldandy nods. "We may begin at any time. We never however placed a price upon this technology, as we saw it as more of a strategic resource.

Obviously to obtain our gates, some minor changes would be needed to ensure security for our Systems that use the technology." Belldandy then looks softly on. "Beyond that, we should have little problem.

What would you like to offer as a trade item for this technology?"

Seto looks at Dusanyu with a lean of her head. She then closes her eyes and pictures the image in her mind.

"A true Union of str nations that combine their might for the commong good of both the Balance, and a relative justice between civilizations, and their souls within. That the ideas of one nation can be more than accepted, and distrust fades from memory.

That there is a way to talk matters out, and never see war. That all nations give of themselves with the same willingness, with little regard for gain of greed. That someday, the stars will see us as their equals, rather than just us living among them.

After all these years living among the stars, I'm starting to see what we are really here for. That little incident that just occured showed even more. There's things greater to learn about, than just this small plane of existence.

I fear that all the power we have combined, is nothing against dangers that exist in greater forms across the cosmos.. probably beyond."

Carla thought, and then said, "Our Workers' State is trying to enter an economic model that more resembles a mixed economy....to this end, we are making the transition slowly, and gradually, by offering new opportunities for investment in our nation, as well as performing some economic liberalization. Perhaps treaty zones in our new colonies and a section in Los Angeles, all where you will be permitted to sell your goods freely though your personnel will still be subject to our laws, will do?"

General Krell adds, "The Imperial Republic of Deatharon is currently intrested in more advanced defense technology like stronger energy shields for Deatharon Prime and maybe Phase Cloak technology if you posses this."

Dusanyu smiled, "Well that is a pleasant dream. Unfortunatly you fogot to factor in human nature. I'm afraid something like that may never come to be. Not every race is like yours or mine where they desire peace in space. But the abh will do what they can to make their home peaceful. Space is our home so your home will also fall under that protection." He smiled again

Seto looks over.. "Well, a dream it still is. Little more right now.. though.. *grunting to a sitting-up position* ...the work will still be worthwhile in the end.

And if you consider our space as part of your home, would it be fair then to allow us more access to your planetary nodes to expand our influence upon. Nothing silly like causing trouble, but rather just improving the quality of life through out trade methods.

Such I've found, tends to remove a great portion of dissent against rulers, if they know they have access to everything they need at home." Seto then adds. "Likewise for any new worlds expanded upon in the future, so as to lessen rebellious dissent over matters you find cause of discord.

A stable expansion tends to lead to better oppritunities, if they see any expansion as less military, and more open handed friendship.

It's still a part of the ideal, and not tatamount. It'd give more reason for inter-alliance interraction upon aspects each of our cultures do best. Plus we'd be willing to help in expansion outside the galaxy, since we have multiple Colony Galaxies that have too vast a territoty for us to justify on our own."

Akito replies each in turn. "Lady Carla, the offer is interesting. What territories on Terra do you possess currently? But note were not salemen, so if you wish, you may act as intermediary for such sales, provided it's at a fair consumer price. After all, the popular and effective items can sell better at a low price, for a large audiance, rather than a small audiance for purposes of greed."

...to General Krell. "We only wish to ensure that your stability is assured, before we trade items as such, so as to prevent any side from recieving gain. We still worry about your noble class and it's relations with the rest of your society. Our souls died for a reason in the war after all."

Carla thought for a moment, and said, "We command Central California, around what is the San Joaquin Valley and LA County. We are trying to expand further, but strong Abhuman and Mormon resistance locally prevents us from expanding much. Our technologies are enabling us to overcome these boundaries, though...."

She then said, "We can perhaps sell the goods locally....we are liberalizing, so a private contractor or the state-owned Juarez Dry Goods Supply Co. can do this."

Carla smiled and said, "Hollywood was a mecca of film in the days before the Apocalypse. Indeed, many of the pre-Apocalypse buildings have been preserved for the good of the People, they are worth a visit. That, and several famous natural parks that have regrown after the Apocalypse have benefited as well from our patronage, like Yosemite and Big Sur. There is also rich ethnic areas in Los Angeles County, including centers of Asian culture, very rich, also predating the Apocalypse. I think your people will find plenty to visit."

She then said, "Indeed, I have found visiting your world quite pleasant; many may see the same. Any sort of tourist trade would be profitable."

Belldandy nods. "Then we shall pursue this option for trade in tourisim."

Akito replies. "Actually the gates will be facilitated as your own network. Tourists will arrive more normally at our Luna Observation Outpost and transport by shuttle to an embassy facility center we'd like to have constructed in your territories, at a place of your choosing.

This will help limit inital exposure and control things to our satisfaction. We have to be mindful of outside elements using the gates as mentioned, and the network we help setup will only connect to our gates by a set of specific codes and guidelines.
