OOC: Nicely laid out, though I myself do still have doubts about the division structure, as with three regiments of three combat battalions each, you are essentially having 27 battalions, whereas most divisions has about 8-10 battalions depending on their role. You'll also want some more armour support for your infantry divisions; likewise, for your armour divisions, you might also want to increase the strength of the armour force in porportion to the infantry force (so you might want to heve 2 armoured brigades as opposed to one). I can't really find any helicopters either except the medevacs.

The number of artillery still seems a bit large for individual brigades and divisions, and you should have a smaller artillery support of about 54 guns and 54 (18 is the regular number, but I use 36) rocket launchers for each type at the maximum, per division. Likewise, the air defence attachment also seems a bit out of porportion, as Patriot PAC-3s are rather designed to provide medium-range anti-tactical ballistic missile support, while the PAC-2 is designed to provide long-range air defence and is not designed to operate on the divisional level. Adding to that, they both are horrible for providing low-altitude cover against enemy CAS aircraft for your ground forces. Thus, you might want to get rid of the Patriot launchers and add in some medium-range air defence systems instead, in addition to short range air defence systems like self-propelled AA guns.

OOC: Thanks for your input, Omz.

I'm trying to take my own way at organizing, I'm only using the organization terms like battalions and regiments instead of sticking to the American or British models.

My infantry units carry a large amounts of anti-armour weaponry and tend to fight on their own a lot, although it is rare for an Infantry Division to fight without the support of an Armoured Division (Both operate hand-in-hand).

The only units to use helicopters for transport are my Airborne/Air Assault Divisions which resemble Air Cavalry units. As well, when I get around to Air Force units, CAS and units like the 160th SOAR will be done up.

Artillery is only organized like that so you can see how much I have in a brigade, for the most part, artillery units are split up and given to combat units to support the mortar battalions.

As for Air Defence, I just figured PAC-3 was the most advanced SAM's, didn't realize they were for medium-range anti-tactical ballistic missile support. Been thinking of developing either a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun platform or a self-propelled SAM launcher.

OOC: Interesting, though you'll still have take it into account that attack helicopters are still absolutely vital for a modern mechanized/armoured division, thus allowing an army formation to have its own organic air support in the form of helicopter gunships with anti-tank missiles and rockets used against both enemy tanks and infantry.

For air defence, probably developing your own units would be a good idea. I'd personally, if I were you, considering to develop a medium-range SAM based on a mobile tracked launcher for divisional-level air defence (the Buk-1m/SA-11 is a good inspiration), while keeping the Patriots to the corps and army levels.

Further down, you could also have a SPAAG platform boasting both radar-directed (though IR is also a possible addon as well) anti-aircraft cannons and launchers for small SAMs, which could be either MANPADS-style missiles (Stingers, Starstreak, etc.), or a missile specifically designed for the platform with around 10-20km range (e.g. Tunguska)

OOC: Usually in operations, I'll have Air Force units detached to Army units for missions, but I like the idea of a division having its own helicopter gunship sections.

As for air defence, I developed a self-propelled AA gun on one of my IFV platforms, although I have been thinking of taking the Avenger pedestal and mounting it on an IFV.
