Introducing the New Casimir Power Generator!

Created using the finest nanotechnology, each generator is only 1 nanometer wide! Deriving the energy from time itself, the Casimir generators can produce 10 to the 29th power joules of energy, (More than all of Earth I produces in a year) in one second!! Before you buy, though, there are a few things


The generators are prone to overloading if knocked out of alignment
a one cubic foot generator cube can destroy a area of land larger that Rhode Island
The generators can be short circuted with a strong electric shock


for the above reasons, i strongly reccomend that all generatos are used only in SPACE CRAFT, with an emergency charge to short circut the generators incase of an overload.

1 cubic foot (10 to the 15th power joules):$500 million [reccomended for ships]
3 cubic feet (10 to the 23rd power joules):$1.5 billion [reccomended for large ships]
5 cubic feet (10 to the 30th power joules):$3 billion [reccomended for colony ships and/or space stations]

WHAT?! one cubic foot going critical can take out a area as large as Rhode Island?! and you would have one cubic foot go into a ship? what would happen lets say if a Zeus missile struck the ship? I mean most ships in a fleet are within the mileage of Rhode Island and on that note the power released by the Generator would spread from the exploding ship and effect the entire fleet

the generators are fairly stable, but a direct hit by a large missile would cause some to go critical. thats why the emergency system is set to shock any generators that are unstable with a large electric shock. the shock destroys the generator, preventing it from going critical.

Our nation is a bit short of 500 million for a generator right now. Maybe sometime in the future, but for now, do you happen to have anything... abit less pricey?

This would be a good place to start testing of my brand new ship the A.S.F Vis.

While interesting to note, we however will refrain from purchases, as we already employ Zero-Point Fusion Cores in both Fleet, space celestial, and terrestial assets, both combat and non-military.

The ZPCs produce far more power, and are not 'quite' as easily agitated as these generators apparently are.

But this all is our own capability, and appologizefor the 'gloat' probably heard in the background.

OOC: omg. okay people. these generators dont do anything to the time space stuff. it just uses it. like wind power. it gets the power FROM the wind, and DOESNT mess the wind so it turns into a tornado. It just uses the passage of time to power a microscopic alternator, like in your car.

Even in Future Tech, a nation your size with that kind of technology is asking for an in-character declaration of war by nations many times your size with no qualms about using genocide to accomplish their goal, if you're not flat out ignored first. Keep in mind that since this is temporal, the Temporal Accord will likely get involved and issue a "Smackdown" order.

Take some time to show you won't abuse the tech and wank it to hell (which is kinda hard, considering how wanked this is at the moment) and you'll be more likely to be accepted.

dudes! this isnt made up! the only reason that this doesnt exist in RL yet is becuz nobody has nanotechnology good enough to make it so that enough generators to produce enough energy to be usable, without making the generator black the size of montant!

it works like this:

time has waves. we just dont notice them. kinda like a fish in water. the fish doesnt notice the water, because its whole life has been in the water. our whole lives have been in time. the waves in time are why if you normally travel FTL, you go backwards in time. time travels at the speed of light. if you go faster then light, you are going faster then the time waves. just like if you went far enough into space, you could intercept radio transmissions, if you go FTL, you would receive the time waves produced earlier then you left, or go BACK IN TIME.

the generators take advantage of the 'time waves'. if you placed two metal plates so close to gether that only certain wavelengths of time waves got through, what would happen? there would be more 'time pressure' outside the plates then betweed them, and pressure would force the plates together. the generators take advantage of this.

the generator plates are so close together, 'time pressure' forces them together. they use the motion like a car has an alternator to charge the bettery. the generator is just one REALLY small alternater.
