FORZA, NEW SAVIO - Only a week after the once mighty Savian Republic [Now referred to as "Savio" and/or "Old Savio"] ceded Karrera Island [Now "New Savio"] to independant rule, New Savio's first and only ruler, the ruler that brought the island it's independance, the person who stood as the island's spiritual leader, was involved in a car accident at 2:32 AM Karrera Standard Time [KST].King Giovanni Kagliari IX was found unconcious at the scene in the suburb of Palos Altos outside of Forza, and he lay currently at the Inter-Forza Medical Center in intensive care. The accident was caused due to a drunken driver, who died along with Kagliari's driver, instantly after impact, who crashed head on into Kagliari's transport [A new Mayback 62].
As Kagliari, 52, lay in a coma, the big question over everyone's mind is, "Who is to come to power?" The main candidates to come to power are of course his four children, Andres [22], Norelle [19], Adriana [17], and Lucious [14], while talk at the capital is to rejoin Old Savio or to democratically elect a new leader. The Kagliari Family has not officially made a statement concerning the matter, but the entire family has gathered at the medical center in Forza, awaiting for Kagliari to awaken from his coma, however, docters have issued a statement, saying...
"Due to the severity of King Kagliari IX's injuries, we do not believe he will regain conciousness, and even if he does, several of our specialists believe he will lay in a vegetated state as his body slowly breaks down until his death."
The week old nation is in mourning, and the fate of the nation is uncertain. The upcoming weeks were supposed to be filled with many ground breaking decisions, such as whether a new capital would be built, whether the nation would open it's borders to the NS World, and many others, but everything is currently on stand still and everyone is closely watching the condition of King Kagliari IX.
