Anyone have any ideas for an Earth other than your standard modern tech Earths? I'm not a mapmaker or anything but...
1.N00b Earth-Allow only those who've signed up from March 2005 on to join in.
2.WWII Earth-Each player picks a nation and it goes from there. The only thing that would be similar to actual WWII would be technology.

Add on or whatnot.

3: Mortal Engines earth
4. Napoleonic Wars earth
5. Jurassic Earth (If you start that, I MUST be in there!)
6. Senior Earth (5000+ post nations only)
7. Earth Anarchy
8. Earth N00kz 4 all!!!!111 (pre-Jolt nations only)
9. Earth Ice Age
10. Earth New World Discovery

Eh, I never was a fan of the Earths. They're too difficult, as there can only be 6 decently old nations per earth, because any more would have too much population. (current world pop is 6 billion, get too many more and overcrowding kicks in) That's one of the reasons I went FT, to avoid the earths alltogether

11. Future City Earth - character based earth in the future...everyone chooses a character and a job (merchant, police, lawyer:P, judge, criminal, etc) and RP`s on it. Gets married with other characters, gets fired, lives another life basicly in the future)

12. Underwater earth - due to a nuclear atack, the ice has melted in the poles, and the Earth is covered by water. RP with mini-submarines, underwater cities, artificially created islands, be a merchant, pirate, law enforcement, free lancer, each with his own mini or larger submarine.

13. Future Tech Earth (Galaxy) - create a map of the galaxy, or a small part of it, divide into sectors or something, and give each player his empire in one of those sectors....RP wars and diplomacy between space faring nations

etc....

The ideas are not a problem, its a problem getting the players to sign on. You have to be a larger and older nation i think, with enough active NS players as friends to form the core.

how about a restricted earth, whereby nations could prehaps take 10 000 people maximum onto a new continent to collonise it.

i could make decent maps to all of the above, and am in for any of them.

Hm, is there any interest for one of these Earths? If so, which one(s)?

I realize that. However, that's a bit broad. Could you list your three favorites of those mentioned above?

i particularly like number 11, the future based single caracter one, but would prefer it in a modern day city. but thats just me
