Guffingford

The Guffingfordian naval jack
The shroud of darkness, only present during the long nights on the oceans made no difference to the tough men of the sea. The pay was good, good enough to take some serious risks and it's a lucrative oppertunity for a quick penny. A bag of gold Ley's, enough to buy a medium sized destroyer from Holy Panooly is a tempting offer. It is strange, so strange in fact that a most despised regime known as National Socialism brought law and order to the quarreling and arguing freestates of Guffingford. With the factor of a stable, oppressive regime gone, Guffingford slowly begins to fall away into disarray. Only the most preserving freestates, the Social Nationalist freehold of Neuland, the free market haven of Oos Seeland and the capital state of Rooi-Nassau are under control of the central administration led by the dictator Johann Gleighmount. He rules the nation without an iron fist, but several laws from the ancien regime remain. Not subtle in any away, and best compared to South Africa's apartheid regime.
Commander Blouff, a fossil forgotten by the self governing cleaning squads still leads his Eastern Fleet the way he has done under the National Socialist regime. Along with his partners in crime Lorgan Vimes, Leonard Ynsson and Max Dafydd they have became buccaneers loyal to the government, but independent men when off duty. The government doesn't care about their adventures, as long as they don't sell on the black market everything's fine. The government knows these men are pirates, nothing more and nothing less and yet they are the ones who are allowed to test and operate the latest naval advancements. Is is a privilege or are these men skilled seafarers? The latter is most likely, because they all were born in Oos Seeland, the naval capital of Guffingford and the Imperial Armies region.
Commander Blouff was standing on the bridge, sipping from his tea while looking outside at the fine weather. Not a gush of wind, the sea was as flat as a mirror. The mission was simple, an unknown government has paid a formidable sum to "irritate" Roach-Busterian merchant shipping. An easy target, because their navy isn't known to be the most potent one around. In fact, this pirate fleet is superior to their naval engines of war in every possible aspect.
"Captain, commander Blouff wishes to speak to you."
"Tell him I'll be there in a sec." A moment later the captain walked up to the bridge and greeted the commander.
"Ah, Captain Bloomsburry. You know my orders have always been short and to the point, so let's get to business. An unknown government has paid us quite a sum. They want us to begin raiding Roach-Busterian merchant shipping."
"But to what end? Do we have to engage in naval battles when we encounter their coast guard?"
"Yes, that was part of our briefing. Inform your officers, not the regular sailors."
"Aye sir."
A few hours later...
"Sir, we are spotting a merchant vessel from Roach Busters."
"You know what to do."
OOC: This is really open RP, so feel free to jump in.
