Suppression of Communism, Terrorism and Subversion Act (continued)
Labor unions are to be outlawed. The organization of a labor union or membership in one is to be punished by scaphism. Immediate family members of those who violate this law are to be lashed 1,000 times in public, stripped naked, and doused in hot tar. Their property will then be confiscated and torn down.
Striking is to be illegal. Workers who go on strike are to be labeled "communists," and punished accordingly via scaphism.
Anyone who questions the validity or morality of these laws is to be labeled a "sickly pink humanist," and subject to a fine of $5,000, five years of house arrest, and possible deportation.
The media is forbidden to print or broadcast anything that the Minister of State Security deems "subversive," "revolutionary," or "radical." Those who violate this law are subject to revocation of license, fines in excess of $25,000 dollars, 1,000 lashes in public, and possible deportation.
All citizens shall partake in mandatory tests to determine their political ideology and will be accorded an identification card stating their name, age, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and political views. Those whose results indicate they subscribe to left-wing political views are to be arrested and transported to one of many homelands reserved for their sort.
Anyone who fails to produce their identification card when prompted by a police officer is subject to five years imprisonment. Repeat offenders are to be shot on sight.

I despise democracy. It is tyranny by majority, mob rule, anarchy, and sheer chaos and disorder. It is fertile ground for communism.

One of those most interesting insane things that Generalissimo J.L. has ever done. It is nice to see that Roach-Busters will soon only harbor a bunch of ass-licking people. The others will be either death or fleed to other, more comforting nations. It's so sad....

In fear of JL's new law, many people in Green Sun are asking that Lieutanant TK Termite step down as Vice-President. TK has refused, saying that this is an unrealted matter that will not affect him or his administration in any way. This has made the people of Green Sun very upset.

The emperor applauds this new move, but has one criticism. Isn't 1,000 lashes a little much? Only 50 will kill a person, and it's much more effecient to do it with less. Think of all the time you'd be wasting just whipping people to death... That's why we in Fhtagn have switched over to summarial execution for just about any crime.

Hmmm....I agree with the provisions limiting access to the free press; I've totally got those.
But the union thing? In the RSA, we let the unions live, we just co-opt them and the Reds with paternalistic welfare capitalism and government based goodies. That and we encourage them to collaborate with employers; not work against them. We've seen good results come out of that.
And also, why not use canes? They hurt more, and get the point across better. :)

Instead of killing subversives, how about sending them to us! Currently our government has a paranoid schizophrenic in charge, and these people will be given pills that induce schizophrenia in a normal person. We use them in covert operations to discredit our opponents in the internation field. You may be able to destory their bodies and cause them much pain, but can you break their spirit? I think not. But I have something that can. MUHAH! :D
Thank God We're Social Democrats, we believe in a mixed economy(Captialist/Command Economy), so the law has no effect on us.

An excellent start to the prologue of what is hoped will be the eradication and purification of all that is corrupt, and which encourages the spawning grounds of subhumanity.
Proceed.

Official Communique from the Imperial Commonwealth of Malkyer
To: Generalisimo J.L.
From: Emperor Dayan Saarad
Subject: Suppression of Communism, Terrorism, and Subversion Act
Dear Generalisimo,
My various advisors and ministers have informed me of the amendments recently made to Roach-Busters' Suppression of Communism, Terrorism, and Subversion Act (hereafter referred to as 'the Act'), and I must say, some aspects of it seem rather disturbing.
First of all is your ban on labor unions. Though the true agenda of such groups is sometimes less than desirable, one must also acknowledge that unions have done wonderful things in the past. In point of fact, was it not the labor union Solidarity which broke the choke-hold of communism upon Eastern Europe? The surpression of such unions reeks of the dark days of the Soviet Union and the Third Reich.
Secondly, the laws concerning those who question the Act and the printing of leftist or radical material by the media. I think I can best argue my point by using Malkyer itself as an example. In the Commonwealth, we allow the printing and distribution of leftist media, but not because we ourselves support it, much less believe it; rather, we allow it to exist to better illustrate to our people and the world both the logical and factual fallacies of the left. By letting these people continue in their seething madness, we hasten their demise.
I am not telling you how to run your country, J.L. It is your country, and though I do not agree with your methods, I can certainly agree with your goals. I merely hope that what I have said can show you methods that are less brutal, but just as effective.
Sincerely,
Dayan Saarad I

I appreciate your sound advice, and can see the logic behind it. I understand your concerns, and your suggestions will be considered thoughtfully. I hope to address and alleviate your concerns while retaining this act's effectiveness at stemming the Red tide. Again, thank you for your feedback, which is welcomed and strongly respected.
