Good evening all. Though I'm not new to Nationstates, or Role-Playing in general, I am new to Future-Tech. I currently have a Modern Tech Nation, but I would like to "Convert" it to Future-Tech...how could I do this believably?
So far the only "Role-Playing" I've done is equipment buying for my military, so I'm not tied up in any shape or form, truly.
Any help would be appreciated.

get confident with space travel,
contact a FT nation and ally
trade his tech for your natural resources.
or
have all your people cryogenetically frozen to prevent a civil war, and awake in the future.
I'd personally go with the find a FT ally or have your own scientists come up with a break through that gives you the start of future tech ( which is not that unbelievable ) or you could go the StarGate route... there are many ways out there, it's mostly decideing what appeals to you most, what you will enjoy gaming the most.
