"To All Sovietian Citizens we have arrived at A new place to call Home. After the loss of Imperator I, I Markus Fletcher will be temporarily filling in for his role until The Emperor elects a new representive, I know we lost some of our supplies when we had to flee but this planet has been chosen because of its high amount of minerals"

Markus then removes his finger from the P.A button

"We should be settled in, in a day or two . . . Advisor I want you too make sure a message is sent to all those who attended our last diplomatic talks and I want this message to be sent to just them we cant have another repeat of last time"

The Advisor hurry's off to send a message inviting the nations that where at the last talks

Coming out of TFTL, the Hunter's Mercy and its associated fleet took up position in orbit around the new planet. The Texas Class Command Battle Carriers set up TFTLi with a radius of 1 light year around the planet.

Slowly the Hunter's Mercy began its descent into the atmosphere of the planet, and hanging over the ground deployed a dropship.

Galeel walked up to the first door on the colony ship that he saw and knocked on it, waiting for an answer.

The Door opened, Revealing Markus Fletcher

"Hello I thought I would greet your personaly I am Markus Fletcher currently in command of this Colony, please follow me to my office where can re-begin talks"

He leads him to a room with a round table in the middle

Please feel free to take a seat. He says pointing to the seats

Galeel plopped down in one of the chairs.

"Sorry to hear about what happened the last time you tried to establish diplomatic ties." he began, "Now then, I am not one for small talk, lets get to the meat of the business at hand. My superiors have authorized me to negotiate the terms of this possible alliance as I see fit. What can we do for you?"

"Straight to the point, I like that" Markus says as he takes a seat. "Well we hope to be playing a bigger role in this sector of space, but until we actually get a chance to settle in we cannot to that, At the present time we are almost defenceless and outnumberd by many nations although we have taken action so that we wont be without a formidible defence this will stay take time and weapons are rarley as powerful as allies, Mutual protection of both our nations would be beneficial to both our nations. We are also starting to expand our commercial/trading sectors. An Alliance would help us "settle" in easier and would only serve to help us both dont you agree?"

"You make a good point, but before anything, I need a drink." Galeel said as he pulled a flask from his jacket. Taking a big swig, he exhaled.

"Better. Now then, Mutual Protection seems to be fair, we can park a fairly large fleet here to offer protection. We can also provide technology to help you out. We have a few scientists who are free right now, if you would like." Galeel stated, "Also, a trade pact would be greatly appreciated, what kind of imports/exports are we takling about here?"

"Hmmm about the Scientists, What about a joint technological partnership with any technologys developed by our combined thinking being shared between us, but keeping any techs gained previously or from a means other than a joint discovery private? As for trade we are still in the process of setting up but we are planning on starting with some light things such as commercial goods that is until we get more heavy factories set up for construction of "other" goods" After he had finished speaking he re-adjusted himself in his seat

"That is a good idea friend. What kind of things do you require to set up these factories? I am sure that our nation can provide a substantial amount. However, if there are any technologies where you are *ahem* lacking, maybe we can provide them for you. We can also offer construction crews to aid in building more permanent facilities for your people." Galeel offered.

"The only resource we need to set up these factories is time, This colony ship has enough resources to get us up and running and that shouldnt take to long. Although help with construction is always accecpted. As for Technology what is it that you have to offer?, All we have really seen is the use of "Temporal" technologies but your use of "temporal sheild's" is intriguing to say the least"

"We have many technologies, some more...secret...than others. Temporal shields guard only against temporal weaponry, however, seeing as temporal weapons are more and more common nowadays, they would be a good investment. Also, we can aid in the construction of an orbital station for trade and diplomatic purposes, and we can install on it a Stargate, allowing for near instantaneous transportation of diplomats and traders." Galeel replied.

"The Orbitial Station is an excellent idea, and the Stargate would benefit commerce and science greatly. So Mutual Protection, A Technological Partnership, A Trade Pact & smaller joint operations is there anything else to discuss"

"Not that I can think of, however, as always with Flaming Souls diplomatic relations, all terms are able to be renegotiated at any time, or to add terms. Let's get this on paper, and I will send a copy back to HQ and they will have construction teams here within a week. I just hope that your defenses help this galaxy live up to its name." Galeel finished.

"I think we will be able to give more than just a black eye" Markus smiled, He then started on the documents"

"Good to hear." Galeel replied with a smile. Once Markus completed the documents, Galeel signed where neccessary and thanked Markus for the wonderful time.

"Now, unfortunately, I must return to the Hunter's Mercy. We will be having more defensive ships arrive within the hour, so that safety may be preserved. The construction crews will take a tad longer, as they are not equipped with TFTL at the moment. Again thank you. Also, if you would like a tour of the Hunter's Mercy just let us know and you will be more than welcome to come aboard." Galeel said as he shook Markus' hand and left the room.

~~~One Hour Later~~~

The FSS Tribunal appeared just outside the TFTLi and continued onwards using sublight engines. This was the ship to be temporarily stationed here for defensive purposes.

The ship came in, like a spider in the night, so it would move undetected for a time. The Engins made no light, and around the ship a sort of arura could be seen. The thing moved in fast, right before its edges closed, and it felt the things before it where not a threat.

Markus wen to his monitor and watched the viewed the message. he sat down to reply

Cold Blooded Creatures? Thats an odd request but in our past we did rule uncountable planets and we have a large database on the make up of numerous creatures we could easily recreate a few species.

He types something into and his monitor brings up a display

Our records show we have a few thousand species on our records we could re-create them all but there are alot of subspecies and what not but we would be able to supply you with this if its suitable? what would you be willing to exchange?"

"Lady!" A officer yelled. "We have Flaming Souls Contact, recent hostilities have broken out, orders?"

"We can't afford to loose this chance, tell them we are happy to let them stay there for now." She said softly.

"Very well."

"They won't open fire because they don't want to be obliterated like Cryhiathva was. Just let them be for now, first supsicious thing they do though, destroy them. I want half of our fighters to be on standby, make sure that they can launch within two minutes of the order." General Jenkins stated.

We have just reached the border to the Blackeye Galaxy,
currently we are 5 days ahead of schedule, thanks to
some assitance from allies. ETA is approximately 2 hours.

The Deadeye diplomatic craft emerged from TFTL. Siesatia had sent its fleet to destroy Cryhiathva, so it was some time before they could send a new emmissary. This emmisary came in the form of a crystal shard, no bigger than a finger. An next Generation Command AI, specially proggrammed a year beforehand for diplomatic procedures. Siesatian AI units were Extraordinarily Quick, and could insert themselves into any computer system, effectively taking over, their first order of buissiness would be to erase any other AI in the system.

AI - #21546 - Trillium

The Downside to such powerful AI, was that, about 7 years after their activation, they would literally, 'Think Themselves to Death'. Their data processing would become so rapid, they could no longer store the data, and their code would degrade rapidly.


The Deadeye parked itself in orbit around the planet, annoucing itself with a standard Diplomatic message.


We are here to reinitiate diplomatic negotiations. We have a new representative, as Captain Halberd is in the fleet engagement with Cryhiathva, and will not be able to join us. Our representative will be brought to the surface upon confirmation of our message.

Tsurani Vessels, we have no quarrel with you, you are currently engaged with ESUS members, so no 'peace' can be declared between our states, but we will not fire upon you unless fired upon.

Star Craft are blueprints for old designs, while by many still quite advanced, we gave them up when the Emperor Banned Computers, now that our Reverened Empress has allowed them, we are permitted to trade them with you, to a degree that you may give in return, for what we ask is not much.

If Possible, the Specimens should be live, for dead ones are of no use to us at this time.

The animals we speak of are neither dead or alive, there simply data in our system, The Sovietian race has highly advanced cloning and genetic engineering knowledge so we can re-create these species from our database exactly the way they where when they where inputed to the database and we have more that just one of each species.

As for something in return for these specimens, The thing that you offer us that could be most helpful to us would be Free Trade into your nation this would help our emerging commercial sector.

The construction crew is here, and they have begun development of the station, they say that the basic shell should be done in two months time, and the furnishings and all the extra goodies will be done a few months after that. Also, we have the stargate, and it will be installed a.s.a.p into the station. It is onboard the Tribunal. As for myself and my fleet, we have other matters to attend to back home. It was nice meeting you, and I hope that all goes well. Beware these Tsurani scum, they are a little on the violent side, if they give you any trouble at all, just let Jenkins know up on the big ship, he will be more than happy to blast 'em. Well, I'm off.

With the message sent, the TFTLi was dropped and the fleet departed, leaving only the FSS Tribunal and the construction crew behind.

If you are happy to agree to these terms all that is needed is for these papers to be signed and the formalities are done. One last question though how do you plan on transporting such large amounts of animals? If you need we can supply freighters to carry them or another method can be worked out.
