Dear all world Leaders:
the Allied States of Moonshineland in a newly formed nation of 6 million people. (ooc:Im a n00b)
Having been recently elected president in our first open Elections ever I have decided to petition the international community for assistance and protection, and well as oversight to insure I don't mess up. (ooc: anyone want to help a n00b out?)
Any assistance will be appreciated.

OOC: I would help you out, but I'm pretty new and have other things to do, but once you become a good RPer (Which will probably happen considering this is pretty good for a newb.) I'd be glad to RP with you. (and a n00b is a new player that only godmods or has poor Rping skill and is unwilling to learn, YOU are not a n00b)

If you are FT, you are more than welcome to enter The Republic. The Republic is a region of allies working to help each other out. Many of us would love to help you get used to NS.

(OOC: Helpful tips:
Read the stickies in atleast the International Incidents section.
Learn that OOC and IC are meant to be seperate. You can be friends with the person who plays the nation in real life; and be arch enemies on NS, and vice verse. IC means In Character. OOC means Out Of Character.
Decide your tech level. Ie: MT = Modern Tech (Guns in the present or near the present time period) PT = Past Tech (Guns from like WWI or WWII and even midieval era weaponry.) FT = Future/Fantasy Tech (Consists of magic, aliens, advanced artificial intelligence, and universal travel.) ST = Space Tech (Alot like futurue, but more modernistic.) PMT = Post-Modern Tech (Also known as near future.)
If you choose MT, PMT, or even PT, its more vital that you learn the basics about politics.
That's all I can think of at the moment. But most importantly: read the stickies.)

All nations with weak militaries that make their allegence identified will be warned before being shot if they are deemed excessively armed. 90% of the population follow this system to avoid rash invasions and unneccesary death of local women and children. Not that they won't shoot you either.
The Great Caravan:
We'll let you try to convince us you mean no harm before we kill you if we find any of your people during our travels. That's as close as you get to diplomacy in the Inland Desert.
