A podium was set up, behind the podium was a red cover with a rose and a wreath going around it. Underneath it it said, Unification through Peace, the motto of the Chancellory of Foreign Affairs. Sergei, the man in charge of this Chancellory, stepped up to the podium. Hundreds of cameras flashed as got up.
Sergei cleared his throat. "This press conference was called to tell the world of the position of the Imperial Commonwealth regarding the Feline Catfish situation. We support them in their aquisition of nuclear weapons. And now I have to say this to the world..."
Silence.
"Who cares! We have nations committing civil rights abuses every friken' day and this one guy attains nuclear weapons, nukes a fleet that's about to kill him, and you call this unfair?! Well geez! Imagine you had no army, no navy, no airforce, not even a bunch of crazed drunk Irishmen with pointy sticks! But his only defense, a beautiful nuclear missile... able to solve all their problems. Sexy missile... so he launched it. And you call this bad, hell Rosian Tactical Doctrine calls for all weapons of mass destruction to be activated if there was no hope left!"
He took a deep breath, and took a sip of water. "Plus we have crazier nations armed with hundreds of millions of nuclear weapons! Yet we leave them alone, and as soon as a young nation grabs them, we kill them! We should be signing treaties of peace you idiots! Focus your attention on the big guys!"
He took out a handkerchief and wiped his brow off. "And we have people with worse weapons! Secret virus and chemicals! Neutrons! With permission from the Imperial President, I have been allowed to give away a state secret. The Imperial Space Defense Grid is not armed with non nuclear MIRVs, oh no. They are not chemical or biological either, oh no. They are neutronic weapons!"
Gasps went around the room.
"These things are a bajillion times worse and we have hundreds of these warheads ready to be launched from space! And you care about a bunch of nuclear weapons?! Well with approval of the Imperial Congress, the Imperial Council, and Frederick himself, I say in the name of the Imperial Commonwealth of The Island of Rose: Screw you guys, I'm going home."
He stepped off, and left the public spokesman to answer the question. No you can't ask him questions, but... official statements and the like or nice.
