Space Union-Credonia Conference (Attn: Credonia)

The plane was high in the sky. It was almost noon and the plane was over Credonia. President Harsimran was slumped in his chair and was in intense thought. He was thinking about the Conference that the Republic of Credonia had asked for. Credonia was one of Space Union's biggest and best allies and he wanted to consolidate a friendly alliance with their great leader. Harsimran expected that the conference would be a great success and a partnership would emerge from the conference. But suddenly the voice intercom came on and Harsimran heard his pilot say,

Pilot: Sir, we are near the Credonia City Airport. Its time to buckle up.

Harsimran war relieved and sat in his seat and buckled himself up. From at his altitude he could see the wonderful city of Credonia City. It was beautiful and full of life.

Pilot: We are getting ready to touch down now.

Harsimran: Okay, everybody is ready.

The plane touched down at the airport at 12:38 on May 7th, 2005. As the plane started slowing down, the green light to unbuckle was given. Harsimran started gathering his paper work and putting all of his stuff in his briefcase. As he was doing that he heard the connection of the plane to the terminal. The walkway was opened and the Co-Pilot came on the voice intercom.

Co-Pilot: Sir, you may now exit the plane.

Harsimran got up along with his security guards and left the plane. He walked out of the plane and entered the security checks. One of the security guards looked at him.

Security Guard: Welcome, President Mann, Credonia welcomes you with opening arms.

Harsimran: Thank you for your kind words.

Both men then shook hands and the President departed the airport. Outside was a limo that had been prearranged from the plane. A crowd of people were outside. Half of them were shouting "Welcome" while the other half was shouting "Down with Space Union!". Harsimran got quickly into the limo and left the area.

Harsimran: I hope when I comeback the "Down with Space Union" cheeres would be less hostile with me.

OOC: How was my RPing?

IC:

In the Presidential Palace President Sutton got word that the President of Space Union had arrived in Credonia and was on his way to the Palace. He was understandably nervous. He didnt mind holding conferences with new friends and allies but he was always going to be nervous until he met and got to know the leaders of those nations on a more personal level. He hoped that he could do so during this conference. Despite being nervous, he was exceptionally glad that this was going on. He had a feeling that a new strategic venture would come out of this along with a strong and invaluable partnership with Space Union.

Sutton was finally prepared. He began making his way through the Palace corridors to the central front doors which led to the Palace front yard where the reception ceremony would be held upon President Mann's arrival. As he stepped outside, he took a look around. The skies were cloudless and blue. The sun rained down its beams of bright, brilliant light, while a gentle breeze flowed across the landscape. The first thing that caught his eye was the centerpiece, located in the very center of the front yard. It was a massive 15 foot high grey marble dolphin that had water squirting out from its spout at the top. Off to the right of the sculpture were seats for members of the press and invited guests, while off to the left was a podium, flanked on each side by two long tables seating all of the important dignataries of the two nations who would observe and participate in the conference. It was a glorious day for such an event. Now it was simply a matter of time before President Mann would arrive.

President Harsimran sat in the back of the limo reading his notes. He was very excited at meeting the great leader of Credonia. He knew that this would be a monumental step in relations. As Harsimran started packing his files he watched the city pass by. It was a beautiful place. It resembled Harsimran City (Space Union's capital). But was much bigger. The people he noted where very kind and happy with a few occasional bad apples. As he watched the buildings and road pass-by, the limo slowed down. It turned into the most magnificent place Harsimran had ever seen. They were entering the palace. It was huge and remarkably beautiful. But what caught, Harsimran attention was the magnificent sculpture of the dolphin. It seemed as if it was made out of diamonds.

Harsimran: Aid, remind me to also build one of these great sculptures at Harsimran City.

The limo stopped in the palaces frontyard. The driver got out and opened the door for Harsimran. As Harsimran stepped out into the blue-skyed day he noticed that the weather was almost perfect. His aid gave him the briefcase and Harsimran started walking toward the table. As he walked slowly to the table. He saw the President of Credonia. He was seated at the front of the table. President Harsimran walked over to him and shaked his hand.

Harsimran: I'm glad to meet you, sir. I've been waiting for this meeting for a while.

OOC: I'm going to cut-off hear so you can respond.

Sutton rose and shook President Harsimran's hand.

"The pleasure is all mine Mr. President. I suspect that you had a pleasant flight and ride into Credonia City? Im glad you could come out here on such short notice, though its seemed like to be a long while. Allow me to introduce to you a couple members of my cabinet. This is Secretary of Defense Mitchell Ferguson. He is second in command of Credonia's military forces and third in command of the entire nation. Our executive branch is set up a bit differently than most other's. We have no vice president and the cabinet members are usually the ones with the power within the executive branch." replies Sutton.

The secretary stands and shakes the President Harsimran's hand.

"This is Secretary of State Lauren Smith. She is third in command of Credonia's military forces and second in command of the nation. She is the one who normally represents me when I cannot be present in person at special functions. She is more of like a Vice President than any other member in my cabinet." continues Sutton.

"Pleasure to meet you in person Mr. President. Ive seen and heard a lot of you during international incidents and you've made quite a name for yourself in the world. Not bad sir, not bad at all." complimented Lauren.

"Now that the formalities are over and done with for now. Please, call me Kaimoni. I hate being so formal at times when it isnt absolutly necessary like during bilateral talks between great allies. Now, I wonder. How are things going with your nation? Ive heard that you've had one declare war on you because of the Feline Catfish incident."

Harsimran: Pleased to meet you all of you and thank you for your very kind words. Heres my advisors: This is Secetary of Defense Monica Sidhu. She directs all the military planning and oversees our troop deployments and programs we are running. She also advices me on costs and the allocation of funds to the military.

Monica: Pleasure to meet, you Kaimoni.

Harsimran:And this is my Foreign Minister Harman Sidhu. He is Monica's brother and oversees all my foreign policies. He also acts as my Secetary of State and keeps profiles on other nations, mostly allies.

Harman: Hello, sir. I'm delighted to meet you and your magnificent country. I've heard great things about your country. I must say it has a fabulous record of peace.

Harsimran: Well now that we know everyone, I also would like to go on a non-formal basis. It gets tiring to hear Mr. President over and over again. Just call me Harsimran.

Everyone sat down at the table. Harsimran took a sip of water and then replyed about the Feline conflict.

Yes, we've had the nation of Chronosia declare war on us. We were just aiding our ally Call to Power. So in response, I sent Supreme Admiral Sidhu to destroy their fleet. But recently we pulled the plug on aid to Call to Power. Harman, here, discovered the Call To Power Scandal. The nation was holding Risban citizens against their will just to protect their economy. I find that appalling to hear. I put the value of a person's live over anything. In response we pull out our support of Call to Power. So in turn, we are holding talks with Chronosia for peace since there isn't any motives anymore in the war.

Harsimran took another sip of water before talking again.

Enough talk about SU instead how is everything here in Credonia?

"Ah, well I hope things get settled and no further hostilities ensue. As far as Credonia, we are doing very well. Foreign relations are at an all time high. I have embarked the nation on a diplomatic campaign to repair and restore relations to a normalized and peaceful state with nations that we have had problems in the past. In addition to this, we are forging relations with nations that we have had little to no contact with and we are maintaining a strong military presence, mainly naval, around the globe. I have allocated four million Credonian troops to be deployed around the world and another four million to remain in Credonia, strictly for homeland security and defense. We are also working on upgrading our conventional and strategic military forces, which is part of the reason why we have called this conference with you today. In the past, I have been apprehensive about the number of Credonia's nuclear, biological, and chemical warhead stockpiles. There were relatively few threats from these types of weapons and their delivery systems by other nations in the world, however, we have seen a drastic increase in the proliferation of such weapons globally, which only forces us to maintain and strengthen our strategic defenses and assert time and time again Credonia's strategic deterrence against any and all enemies and rogue states who wish to bring death and destruction to the innocent for no apparent reason. Now, Credonia rarely works with other nations and shares its highest, most valuable technologies, especially in relation to strategic weapons because of the quality that such weapons designed and built by us posess, however, I realized that we could turn out even better strategic weapons systems if we worked with a nation that shares the same exact belief as we do, the belief that every nation has the right to defend itself and to posess weapons of mass destruction so long as they are used as a defensive weapon and as a last resort only. For that reason, I believe that your nation would be a great strategic partner and with the expertise of both of our nations, we can turn out great weapon designs that are practical, reliable, and overly useful in defense of our nations." replies Sutton.
Space Union
09-05-2005, 20:58
"I thank you for your kind words. Yes, a strategic alliance would be in both nations best interests. We also feel honored to be one of the few nations to be partners with the mighty Credonia. Hopefully, we can make weapons that will ensure peace and prosperity instead of war and chaos. I would also like to invite you to the Protectorate Union. It is a union founded that has big nations help smaller nations from aggression. We plan that it will work by allowing defender nations submit applications to receive aid from aggressors. It is open to smaller nations that can't defend themselves from larger, irresponsible nations that work for warmongering and nothing else. It would be an honor to have you work with us."

Harsimran took a long sip of water to refreshen his dry throat before talking again:

"One important matter I also would like to discuss. Would you be interested in exchanging embassies? I have a 800,000 square meter building that would fit perfectly for your embassy. It is also located near the Palace so our ambassadors can talk frequently. If possible we would also like to open an embassy in your wonderful capital. That would be if you don't mind. We could even work out buying military land. I have a couple of slots open that are 50 square miles big that are open to foreign militaries to make a base at our nation. We keep this offer for only our most trusted allies."

Harsimran sat down thinking "I'm such a hog. I should talk a lot less than listen" and eager to hear Sutton reply.

"An exchange of embassies for such relations is imperative, therefore we welcome the proposal. Following the conference, or sometime later today, before we turn in for the night, I'll have Lauren get an ambassador and his or her staff all set up and prepared to travel to your nation to open an embassy. We have a few beautiful buildings right down the street, as you can see, that can be used as embassies to suit your nation's needs as an embassy."

Sutton looked over to his right at the buildings that stood tall, quite a ways down from the Palace. They were magnificent and built with reflective glass, the kind that you can see out of but cannot see into (instead you see your reflection, just like a mirror). The press that were assembled on the lawn snapped pictures of the two leaders discussing matters of national importance and witnessing the forging of new and stronger relations between the two nations and leaders. Sutton then turned back to the President.

"Hmm, now this offer of land to establish a military base on your land, it could definitly be useful in the future should we need to protect it from foreign invasion or even to test new technologies as they become available. Id like to take you up on that offer. Mitchell will draw up some plans on that as well, once we step inside the palace to get down to the serious talks. I would like to offer you a simular proposal. Since Credonia does not allow foreign troops to establish active military bases upon our soil, as has been a practice since the beginning of time, I can offer you the next best thing. Full and unrestricted access and use of Sutton Air Force Base, located about 45 miles east from here, Sutton Naval Base located an additional 100 miles south of here, and the nuclear testing grounds hundreds of miles away to the Northwest. Sutton Air Force Base has plenty accomodations to house well over two million troops and military equipment to defend those forces, whether they be from Credonia or any other nation. Note that this has never been done before. Credonian history shows that there has only been one time in which foreign forces were invited to stand guard within Credonia to protect her from foreign invasion. They were quickly ousted following the crisis, and Credonia was never invaded. We dont like opening our lands to foreign militaries simply because of the fact thta we have been backstabbed by allies before. We are always on the alert, we remain vigil, however, I feel that your nation can be trusted, and I hope my trust in you is not misguided. With that being said, Credonia's military facilities are fully open for the use by your military forces."

Sutton took a small breather and took a small sip of his water before beginning again. He hoped that he was earning the confidence, loyalty, and friendship of President Harsimran. He was a bit worried about the public reaction to the fact that he was bending Credonian tradition just slightly to made way for better relations with a single nation. He had no problem doing it thought if it meant gaining a loyal and dependable friend and ally. The pro's certainly outweighed the domestic cons, and he decided he would stay the course. Whether he realized it or not, he was setting a new precedent for future Credonian Presidents and changing Credonian foreign diplomatic and military policy and doctrine. He continued speaking.

"Are there any questions, comments, concerns, or complaints you may have about this deal so far?"
Space Union
09-05-2005, 22:59
"Your deal is sound in our books. Your ambassadors can come when they feel like to open the embassy. We will be updating the building and expanding it further to 900,00 sq. ft for all your needs."

Harsimran adjusting his footing so he wouldn't get soar on one side before continueing:

"I thank Credonia for giving us a one-in-a-life chance to have a base here. Your airbase and naval base will fit perfectly into our needs. To assure you we will put only our 1st here. I'm honored to be an exception in your countries eyes. I promise that my nation will never conduct any backstabbing of your generous people. This is the start of a powerful alliance and friendship. We will also keep our side of the deal and open bases for you. I will arrange for a Airbase, Groundbase, and Naval Shipyard. If you request we can give you a Nuclear Testing Site out in the SU Desert. This truely is the beginning of a powerful and strong alliance and friendship between our nations. May god bless both of our countries!"

Harsimran sat down as reporters took snapshots of him. Although the snaps hurt his eyes a bit, he was used to it. He waited then for a response from Suttan.

Sutton continues smiling at the camera's before turning back to the President to announce the next part of the conference.

"Ah, a most powerful alliance and friendship we are building indeed. Your generous concessions along with Credonia's own concessions most definitly cement the positive outlook of future that lies ahead for both of our nations as we forge ahead together as bretheren."

The press and spectators applaud as the leaders of each nation rise to their feet. Sutton extends his hand for a strong handshake, sealing the deal between the two nations and symbolizing the cooperation displayed between them. After pictures had been taken, it was time to take the discussion to a more private forum.

"Ah, now let us go indoors so we can get on with the more sensative issues."

Sutton leads President Harsimran to the Presidential Office within the palace while Lauren and Mitchell depart them to hold private discussions. They would be rejoined a couple hours later during the dinner.

Inside The Office, one could immediately sense the level of luxary the President of the United States of Credonia lived in. On the floor located in the geographic center of the room lay a large rug bearing the seal of the Credonian President. It was circular and very large and covered the span of about 1/5 the size of the room. Inside the rug was an area designated for cabinet discussions as there were two rows of black leather couches flanked on each side by a maching black leather chair. At the head of the row of seats sat an even larger black leather chair that bore the Presidential seal, indicating that the seat was designated for the President of the United States of Credonia only. In between the rows of couches and chairs and directly in front of the President's seat sat a large black and grey marble table which was magnificently crafted. The legs of the table were designed to give it a colonial look which added to the overal decore of the room, which was painted white. On the left and right walls sat two large bookshelves packed with encyclopedia's, atlases, books on modern warfare, world history, Credonian history, and politics. The books were appropriate for such a room. They were more for show though since no one really read them except Sutton when he had spare time, which was very rare given his busy daily schedule which was jam-packed with meetings and traveling. In the very back of the room, relative to the entrance, sat the Presidential desk. Behind it stood two Credonian flags flanking the large window directly behind the President's chair, the main source of light during sunny days. On this day, the shades had been drawn back to allow the sunlight to enter the room, totally elimininating the need to turn the office's central light on. Though no one was exactly concerned about saving energy, the sunlight gave the room a more homey and comfortable feel which was relaxing to anyone who had the opportunity to step foot into the office during a cloudless and sunny day.

As the two Presidents entered the office, a secret service agent quietly closed the door behind them, leaving the two together to discuss business as planned. Sutton went over to the couches and politely motioned Harsimran to sit. Instead of sitting in the seat at the head of the table, he sat on the side of one of the couches, waiting for Harsimran to take a seat before speaking.

"Welcome to the Presidential Office Harsimran. Not very many foreign leaders get to come in here. Actually, you are the first if not the second. But anyway, moving on to more pressing matters. Idea's for a new type of ICBM. Credonia currently has created a self-defensive nearly indestructable ICBM called the LGM-56B Demonic Fury. It comes with a number of active and passive defense systems designed to thwart any and all attacks from space based and land based anti-ballistic missile defenses. The laser defense technology is merely experimental. We have never really tested a Demonic Fury missile against a satellite laser beam strike, but we have, however, tested it against ground based attacks and it has performed marvelously. Perhaps we could put our minds together, and by ours I mean our best scientists, to create an entirely new missile using technologies based on the Demonic Fury that will be at least 95% effective against resisting ground, air, and space based attacks. I can show you the specs on the missile right now if you would like. Do you have any questions?"
Space Union
10-05-2005, 01:44
Harsimran sat down in the cozy, soft sofa. He knew that it was a great honor to be in this room as one of the first leaders to visit it. Before speaking he got cozy and then began:

"The missile that you are saying interests my scientist. We currently, have 4 satellites, which are part of the NDS Missile Shield Program that your country is also part of, that we can fire at the missile. We can see if the missiles are able to defeat the lasers and hit its target. This would also test the satellites to see if they work correctly."

Harsimran readjusted himself in his chair before speaking.

"My scientist have been working on a project to develop a way to reflect missiles such as ASM, SAM, or other defending missiles from the enemy. We have come up with some interesting results. You probably know that missiles emit a small magnetic field because of the electricity is running through the wires of the computer. Our test missile named XR-1M emits a strong magnetic field that has a positive charge near its tail. Most missiles tend to have a positive charge near the front. If this is the correct, the powerful magnetic field of the MR-1M would be able to repel the other missile. But we have a couple of problems. It is difficult to repel the missile when it is moving so fast. But this is just one of our projects and could be adapted for our new partnership. Also the specs of your new missile would be apprieciated. It would make it possible to see if we can outfit the missiles with the same technology."

Harsimran stopped and waited for Suttan's reply.

Before responding to Harsimran's statement, Sutton rose and walked over to a small bar table where there sat a couple small glasses next to three small glass vases filled with three of Credonia's finest wines. He selected the vase with the brownest complextion and poured its contents into two of the small glasses. He picks them up and hands one to Harsimran before sitting back down.

"This is the finest wine Credonia produces to date. Its hella expensive too. Two thousand dollars just for a bottle" states Sutton as he toasts with Harsimran.

The wine was very sweet and tarty tasting. It had a flavor like no other and the added alchohol made it just that much better.

"You stated that you have technologies, more specifically, satellites that will allow you to shoot down enemy missiles. Have you developed technologies and materials that repel satellite attacks or that render the attacks ineffective? our top scientists predict that the shiny and highly reflective outer surface of the LGM-56B would be 80% ineffective against high power spread-focused laser and ion particle beams, which constitute a major threat to our strategic deterrent despite the 56B being a defensive and offensive weapon. Here, allow me to show you the specs on the missile itself."

Sutton rises again and grabs a folder from off of his desk before returning to the couch and sitting down, handing the folder which was marked CLASSIFIED TOP SECRET on the front.

Onboard Missile Systems
AN/ALQ-162 Airborne Self Protection Jammer (ASPJ)
The AN/ALQ-162 automatically scans for threat signals, identifies threat, and generates countermeasures. The AN/ALQ-162 CMS provides automatic radar jamming against surface-to-air and airborne intercept missiles that use continuous wave (CW) radar for guidance. When the CW signals detected by the CMS are validated, jamming is initiated. The specific action taken by the MS is determined by the jamming thresholds programmed into the CMS. The ALQ-162 is designed to intercept and process Continuous Wave (CW) signals, and upgrades under evaluation include responses to pulse doppler radars. Jamming signals are produced in various formats to counter threat signals. The system is operated via a control panel located in the aircraft cockpit and can be used for stand-alone operation or in conjunction with a RWR which supplies threat identification signals. The compact, lightweight ALQ-162 countermeasures set can be installed in pod, pylon or internal configurations.

The AN/ALQ-162(V)4 CMS is reprogrammable and is programmed to respond to the CW signals of the most critical threat weapon systems anticipated to be encountered by the MH-47E in a hostile environment. The AN/ALQ-162(V)4 CMS consists of one receiver/transmitter and one antenna. The total system weight is 41 pounds.

Outer Skin Layer Protective Cover
The outer "skin" of the missile is highly reflective and can withstand the heat of an earth reentry and of a satellite laser, rendering space based satellite lasers ineffective against this type of missile attack. The custom Mk 75A warhead itself also has this prototective sheet, with the exception that once it reaches a ballistic trajectory inside of earths atmosphere, it jettisons the sheeting and initiates a small internal cooling system which lowers the heat signature of the warhead, making it nearly undetectable to even the strongest radar.

The outermost layer of the warhead (after the solver protective sheeting has been jettisoned) is not metal like most warheads. It is of a ceramic type material, as used on a Delta rocket's payload faring, giving it no radar signature, this adding to its undetectability during its descent.

Active Countermeasures
To protect the missile from oncoming ABM missile attacks from the defending nation, multiple heat seeking sensors are places strategically around the body of the missile scanning the ground below for any signs of oncominng missiles. The computer inside of the missile immediately calculates the ABM's trajectory, velocity, and altitude to determine when to deploy several explosive munitions hidden internally, which detonate at a time of the computers setting to obliverate the oncoming missile(s). The missile can protect itself from multiple Anti Ballistic Missiles at one time (exact number is classified), making this one of the most lethal conventional ICBM's ever created.

"What do you think my friend?"
Space Union
11-05-2005, 00:21
Harsimran inspected the file. The missile was a true peace of work. After reading it a couple of times he came up with an answer:

"Yes, my scientist have some projects going on that would make it possible to defeat lasers and ion. So far, we have figured out a way to defeat ion beams. If we gave the LGM-56B Demonic Fury Intercontinental Ballistic Missile
a positive charge, the ion beam wouldn't have much affect on the missile and the LGM-56B would be able to reach its target. I can hand over some classified documents to you about that. But it will be after the dinner because its currently back home and I'll ask my aids to fax me a private copy."

Harsimran leaned back and sipped the wine. It was better than any words could ever describe it.

"Yes, this is extremely fine wine, Suttan," remarked Harsimran before talking again.

"I understand that we have the laser issue. My scientist are currently probeing the different choices. We have come to the conclusion that the missile would have to be painted in a very reflective material. We are currently unaware as what the material is to be, though"

Harsimran finished before listening to Suttan's reply.

Sutton took a sip of wine.

"Perfect. If we were incorporate that new technology of yours into the Demonic Fury or develop an entirely new ICBM that improves upon the technologies used by the missile then it would be nearly indestructable. Plus im pretty sure there are other types of threats that loom that could possibly present a risk to the sucessful use of these weapon systems, and if we were to put our heads together, we could come up to countermeasures to those as well. Now, in order to test the technologies that the missile uses now, I can easily call up War Headquarters and have them do an unscheduled test firing and your nation's defenses can shoot it down, provided your nation can run such a test on such short notice. The warhead atop the missile of course would be a dummy, which would be obvious. I can have the test ready to go as soon as dinner is completed. How about it?"

Sutton looked down at his watch. It showed a quarter to four. Dinner would be ready in less than fifteen minutes. Perfect timing.

Harsimran listened to Suttans reply. He took another sip from the glass of wine before talking:

"I think I could get the satellites to work in 15 minutes. I'll call up now,"

Harsimran picked up his cell phone and dialed speed number to Bensio, Space Union Command Base where General Hya picked up.

Harsimran: General I want the satellites ready to fire at incoming missiles in under 15 minutes.

Hya: Why?

Harsimran: Credonia wants to launch some test missiles of their new missile and both parties want to see if the satellites can successfully fire the missiles down.

Hya: Very well, sir. I will call you when it is ready.

Harsimran: I'll be on alert then.

Harsimran hung up the phone and put it back in his briefcase.

"They will be ready in 15 minutes. My general when the satellites are ready so we can be ready to launch."

Harsimran took the last sip of wine before setting the cup down. He had drank the glass to the last drop and put it down. Although he knew it wasn't proper edequates, Harsimran couldn't resist doing it because of some mysterious force that made him do it from the wine.

A knock on the door is heard and Kaimoni turns towards it.

"Come in" he says in an elevated voice.

A mean wearing a black and white tuxedo takes two steps into the room and stops.

"Mr. President, dinner is served, sir."

"Ah, delightful. Harsimran, dinner is ready, right this way please." politely says Kaimoni as he stands and motions towards the door.

They begin their short trip out of the Presidential Office and through one of many of the quiet Palace corridors passing offices, storage rooms, equipment rooms, and historical rooms where past Presidents have slept and dined in the past. The hallways were decorated with Credonian pieces of art consisting of colonial pottery, paintings, rugs, and weaponry. The theme of the palace seemed to focus on Credonia's past in the Colonial times, an era when Credonia was a pinnacle of world progress and discovery, just as it is to this day. Every time Kaimoni passed through the halls of the Palace, he gained a deeper sense of pride and respect in his nation and a sense of greatness as very few people ever had the opportunity to rule over such a country with such a magnificent and historic past.

They entered a room with a mural of an epic colonial battle fought Credonia and some other enemy force. The mural rapped each and every one of the walls from floor to ceiling. Even the ceiling was painted the color of blue skies with small patches of clouds adding to the greatness of the room.

The Presidents took their seat and waited for their food to arrive.

"So, Harsimran, about those military bases, would you be willing to allow Credonian ICBM Silo'sto be constructed within your border in our section of bases or would that be against Union foreign policies. Credonia has a formidable nuclear deterrent, a deterrent that many nations fear. In fact, we have manipulated that deterrent in some conflicts to scare other nations into doing what we say. Of course, we never planned to use our nuclear weapons, we forced the enemy to believe that we were, and we never backed down which is what scared them most. So if we were to extend our nuclear deterrent to your nation, it would provide the Union with an additional layer of security form any and all types of threats, from conventional, to nuclear, chemical, or biological. Or your are not interested in allowing ICBM silo's to be constructed, would you be willing to allow mobile Credonian ICBM launchers or an equavent missile system to be deployed on your territory?"

OOC: Didn't notice that you posted. Sorry.

Harsimran sat down in his chair. He sat just across from Suttan. As he looked around the room he listened to Suttan talk.

Harsimran: My people, Space Unionist, I believe wouldn't mind having foreign nuclear warheads in our territory. As long as it isn't anywhere near the metrapolitans. And that can be arranged.

Harsimran shifted in his cousy chair before speaking again:

Harsimran: It would be an honor to have your protection. We can have everything setup for the ICBMs at the base when your troops arrive. How does that sound?
