I've been here since February 2004, I see its now May 2005, so effectively, I have been on NS for a year and three months.
Well, I'd have to say that things have been really interesting here. Sustaining NS RP's in the face of AP History and other RL needs was tough, but here I am.
I remember my first RPs. I learned the hard way how to RP from a certain player who is no longer allowed here and whose name will not be mentioned to avoid trouble. My writing skills, and, of all people, his verbal tongue lashings helped straighten me out. Since then, further RP experiences have refined my style, and my love of anime, Half-Life, Warhammer 40k, sportshooting and the Who plus all of the above has helped make me a very fun nation indeed.
Overall, I have had plenty of fun since then. I've seen empires fall, alliances break up, elections being held, crazed anime terrorists rise (by my hand, too!), n00bs raid and pillage, and my nation collapse into the morass of civil war. But you know what? It's been a damn fun ride that makes Disneyland look like the supermarket. And I'm staying.
I thank all my regulars, Camel Eaters, RB, MassPwnage, the Nation Formerly Known as Fascist Confederacy (now the USSR), and anybody else I've RPed with-you guys have been awesome!
