Okay, here's some help about how to start a group. I would give you a link to the thread with this information, but I don't have one on me. Heh.
First, set a charter and a constitution or something for your group, as well as information on how it will be run. Next, given your new status, you might attempt to appeal to a larger nation to enter so that your group gains some type of respect.
Note: A group created to take over the world will not gain much if any respect and will most likely result in the larger nations stamping you into the ground.
I suggest that you make yourself known before attempting to do anything with a foreign war. First, introduce your nation, release statements to other RPs, and do stuff like that. If you really want a war, I strongly suggest having a civil war in your own nation so that you can explain how the leader you want running your country possibly came to power.
Then, after a few weeks, I'm sure you'd have a much easier time creating an alliance.
