Imperial Palace, Vampad
Hundreds of reporters and holo-cameras stood in the Palace grounds awaiting the arival of the Emperor and his Advisors. They had been told that there were going to be major revamp to the Vampad military forces within the next few weeks.
After a few minutes, the Palace doors opened and the Imperial bodyguards quickly looked at the area and ushered through the doors.
The Emperor walked through the doors to a podium.
People of Vampad, due to the recent actions of many systems the Empire of Vampad needs to keep up in technology especially in the military. We intend to phase out all our older ships and bring in better and more reliables ones. I leave you to the Military Advisor to Vampad, Grand Admiral Freecast.
The Grand Admiral took the podium and cliked a button. A holo-screen appeared in front of the palace and he began to run down the new military.
Our first new edition will be the "DoomGiver" class assault ship. The ship is designed to land many "pods" into enemy territories and begin ground engagements.
The ship is 800 meters across and will need a crew of 12,000 to run it. There is also room for 3,000 troops/passengers. The ship can hold 2 fighter squadrons and 4 assault shuttles. There are 25 Medium laser cannon turrets, 30 turbolaser batteries and 18 tractor beam projectors as well as improved shielding that has been made more efficient by new generators.
Each ship can hold up to 76 assault "pods" that are heavily armoured and can hold 30 troopers on the upper deck and four military walkers on the lower deck.

The second vessel is the Venator-class Star Destroyer. This vessel has been designed to carry a large number of starfighters and defences weapons.
The Venator-class Star Destroyer is 1133 meters across and requires a crew of 7,400 to run it. There is also room for 1,000 toops/passengers. There are 8 heavy turbolaser batteries, 52 point defence laser cannons, 4 proton torpedo tubes and 6 tractor beam projectors. The Venator-class Star Destroyer can hold 30 starfighter squadrons and 6 assault shuttles.
