The usually quite port was once again a bustle of activity. Dock workers and naval crewmen scurried over the dockside and the ships in port there. Literally hundreds of transport and combat vessels were beginning their long arduous journey to the young nation of Call to power, to answer the commands of the King. It took a little over two hours from the execution order until the first aircraft broke its hold on the ground and leapt skywards, accelerating rapidly towards the horizon, meeting up with its escorting StealthHawk UCAVs.

Transport planes fill the sky, as Riconiaas 3rd Rangers SOAR and 5th Marines Infatry arrive at the CTP capitol city airport. After the troops unloaded, they march off and set up a camp several miles away from the airport.

<Dumpsterdamian Naval Facility, CTP, six hours ago>

The McLeodian armada was arrayed outside the facility, guns and sensors sweeping the horizon, classifying and identifying hundreds of individual targets. At the center of the task force sat two enormous supercarriers, Freethinkers built Ocean class, along with their four escort carriers, and two massive Leviathan superbattleships. From the deck of the flagship, the HMS Intrepid, one could see more than a hundred other McLeodian ships slowly patrolling the harbour mouth, from the small twenty man Pegasus hydrofoils to the vast Leviathan and Vengeance battleships with thousand of crew members.

The convoy of transport ships began offloading their equipment n the opposite side of the harbour, hundreds of trucks, APCs, tanks, engineering vehicles, even helicopters, all began to set out for the McLeodian base some fifty miles to the south, where the first McLeodians to land, the RAFDU and their engineers, had begu expanding the base handed to them, and building massive defensive walls topped with automated defense systems and minefields on all sides.

A launch skipped over the waves having left the Intrepid's landing craft bay. It bucked and weaved its way between the towering hulls of the battleships and transports, heading for the relative safety of the dock. As it approached land, a man stood, cape billowing in the wind, a line of ribbons on his chest depicting a glorious naval career. His face bore scars and burn marks down one side, and he walked with an obvious limp, but refused the cane offered to him by an aide. Before the launch had even stopped, he stepped from its deck onto the harbour side, adjusted his cap, and strode towards the Dumpsterdam crewmen on shore.

"I am Sea Lord Julian Hilton" he introduced himself, "I believe I am to meet your commander on shore somewhere?"

The base was a mass of activity. Technicians swarmed over vehicles and aircraft, repairing any slight damage suffered en route, and checking weapons for any deficiencies. Cargo aircraft were still landing more supplies, huge VTOLs and the massive bi-winged C-71s and C-240s ferrying in munitions, weapons, troops, and support equipment.

Combat engineers and the heavy engineering teams were still busily expanding the base to house the thousands of men now based in CTP, before joining convoys moving out to other bases across the country, where they would form secondary bases in key locations, to help defend CTP in the event of an invasion. Almost 75% of the predicted ground forces were now in country, over two and a half million personnel, armed to the teeth with the latest McLeodian weapons, and equipped with the advanced Tyr infantry combat system, which provided real-time information to every soldier in the battlefield, as well as decent protection from small-arms fire.

Riconiaa's 2nd Naval Fleet begins to patrol the waters around the capital city. Blackhawks drop sonar bouys to watch for enemy submarines. VF-12 aircraft soar through the skies. The Riconiian 3rd Rangers SOAR Division along with the 4th Marines Infantry Division and the 3rd Abrams Tank Division begin to roll towards the capital and set up a large base of operations next to a highway that leads through the capital city and to the harbors. Strong walls with electrified barb wire are set up. Two other bases in secret locations are also being constructed. At a CTPian secret airbase, our 4th, 5th and 6th Fighter wings are being deployed. The 2nd Bomber group is being deployed at another CTP air base. All Riconiaan forces stand calm, and alert. Communicating with Mcleodian forces to track any enemy advancements all of our forces are ready for enemy confrontation.

I find this "War" that has got so many nations active in it that if both sides do not stop and come to a FAIR AGREEMENT and not one that give one side a advantage over the other and you stop spending trillions of dollars on this war.

Wouldn't that mean that all the people helping you out because of this thread would have to wait to post their mobilisation until this thread actually happens real time?

Afterall, there are people deploying forces against Feline Catfish because of this thread which hasn't happened yet, so either it has happened and we know about it, or a ton of nations who are deploying forces against Feline Catfish stop and wait until this does happen. In which case Call to Power will have a small fleet (which he still hasn't described in the OOC thread) outside of Feline Catfish without many allies which has just declared war...

I found the CTP's refusal of our offer to be most interesting in its wording.

The refusal makes two points:

1) They can take care of their medical needs, and

2) Their population would view foreign medical support as a bad sign.

Now if point (1) were entirely honest, there would be no need to further clarify it with point (2). The CTP response suggests that the population is already perceiving bad signs, and the government is worried about exacerbating that problem.

In other words, a morale problem may exist among their population, which makes them especially good target for any proselytism effort. I suggest that we send a small proselytism team (possibly posing as ESL teachers, or using some other innocuous cover) and check the situation out and see what opportunities are available. Even if we cannot provide humanitarian assistance, we may be able to provide badly needed spiritual assistance.

Same. I mobilized my 1st Carrier group more than a week ago and they are sitting 0.2 nm from the 100nm boundary without orders! I can't move them until the moderators confirm that we can continue that war, because most of the international community claims that it is just a, "massive dogpile".

Oh, I don't think that will be a problem. Since the FC conflict has been retconned then this war is not far away from a retcon.
