The Empire of Calpe invites all nations that are willing, to send diplomatic missions to our country. A special street was constructed in our capital, Caladon, to maximize security in the area. They are beautifull buildings designed by our estimeed architect, Mesterul Manole. Currently twenty embassy buildings were constructed for the use of anyone that wishes to send an envoy, and more will be ready in the near future. All buildings have an underground garage, helicopter landing area and from 20 to 30 rooms, with a living space of 600 to 1000 sq.m. Also, behind the main buildings there are quarters to house the soldiers complement that you might want to bring.
The street is protected at both ends by the Imperial Security Service, the same service that is responsable with the protection of the calpian personalities.
We will not allow armed vehicles or aircraft of any kind on our territory. The protection of the embassies is well taken care off, so we will allow a maximum complement of 100 armed marines and any armored cars that you wish, as long as there are no mounted weapons on those vehicles.

The following treaty is our standard alliance and economic treaty. If any of the nations that wishes to be our allies wants to modify one or more articles its sugestions are welcomed and will be taken into consideration.

STANDARD ALLIANCE TREATY

We, the Heads of State and Government of:
Empire of Calpe

Desirous to live at peace with all peoples and Governments;
Recognising the sovereign equality of all States and their intention to strengthen the bonds that exist amongst them on the basis of respect for their independence and non-interference in their internal affairs;
Seeking to promote peace, security, stability and well being among our peoples;
Determined to defend and safeguard the freedom of our peoples and their civilisation, as well as their individual liberties and the rule of law;
Convinced that close cooperation in matters of defence and security will be to the mutual benefit of our peoples;
Having resolved to unite our efforts towards collective self-defence and the preservation of peace and stability.
Hereby agree to conclude this Alliance Treaty (hereinafter referred to as “the Alliance”).


Article One
Both national governments agree to maintain peaceful and friendly relations between them and mutually respect the territorial integrity and inviolability of the other nation.

Article Two
The representative governments of both nations will support unrestricted trade with one another, in hopes of benefitting both nations economically and bringing prosperity for the peoples of both nations.

Article Three
If either nation comes under attack from one or several nations not included within this treaty, the other will respond with military action as soon as possible.

Article Four
If either nation is subject to destabilizing factors from the interior or from outside countries, such as sabotage, terrorist actions, instigation to revolt, the other nation will respond with military action if required.

Article Five
If the article three or four of the present treaty comes into action, the nation required to respond with military action has the right to refuse participation if one of the following occurs: use of weapons of mass destruction by the allied nation, conflict between two allies in which it would be required to take sides, evidence of terrorism supported by the government of the allied nation.

Article Six
The nations signing this treaty undertake not to nurture, harbour or support any person, group of persons or institutions whose aim is to destabilize the political, military, territorial and economic or social security of its allied nation.

Article Seven
Signature: this treaty shall be signed by duly authorized representatives of the participating nations.

Article Eight
Ratification: This treaty shall be subject to ratification by the signatory States in accordance with their respective constitutional procedures.

Upon the confirmation of the ratification of this document, the alliance will come into effect immediately thereafter for a period of time of 20 (twenty) years, the period being prolonged automatically every 20(twenty) years, unless one of the states wishes to cancel this agreement at any time.

Currently with a naval base and ground forces stationed in Calpe the Empire sees the establishment of a Xeraphian embassy as midly threatening.

Let it be known to the rulers of Calpe, that the Empire is keeping a close eye on what is happening in its direct sphere of influence; or backyard as you might have it; the Damnian region.

We cannot and will not prevent or intervene in your domestic affairs, but when those affairs cross of entwine with the Empire's, we will take action, but only in the most direst of curcumstances. We will not easily take such steps, but should we feel that the Xeraphians or any other embassy posses a direct threat to the Empire, the Haaren Naval Base, Dumpsterdanian nationals or its diplomatic personal we will act to ensure the safety of those assets and personal.

We wish to assure the Empire of Dumpsterdam that Calpe will not allow on its territory any actions against the interests of one of its allies, regardless of which one is threatened. We are bound by our treaties to protect the interests of all countries that wished to ally with us, and unless they take steps towards a conflict with another ally, we will not take sides. Furthermore, we wish you would tone down a bit the diplomatic declarations in the future, as although we are in the Damnian region, and one of your closest neighbors, we are an independent nation and we conduct our diplomatic relations in any manner we see fit. We dont make exceptions from them as it would not be fair to the other embassies to allow only you to have armed vehicles or helicopters.
