The Empire of Cotland announced earlier today that they are to develop two new missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons. One missile will be a intercontinental ballistic missile, while the second one will be a intermediate range ballistic missile. The two missiles have been designated MGM-200 "Thomas" and MGM-202 "Scalpel", respectively. Estimated place the total number of missiles to be built at roughly 1000 missiles. More info will follow.

We the Planet Federation currently under a heavy burden due to recent nuclear attacks by terrorists are slightly worried about the development of new nuclear weapons. And although we realize these wepons are almost nesecerrary in todays galaxy we would like some assurace that these weapons will never get into the hands of the wrong men.

Perhaps The Planet Federation take a security tour of your silos? Or something of the sort just to give are nation a reason to rest a little eaisier.

Im willing to bet that im fine speaking for cotland here but, this is Earth 2, i dont think you own land there.

The government of The Planet Federation knows that we do not own land on Earth 2 but your nations must realize that nuclear weapons from terrorists wont just stay on Earth 2 if they fall into the hands of terrorists.

OOC: Duke, the reason why I didn't put [Earth II] in the headline was because I wanted more people then the people just in Earth II to interact.

IC: The Empire is willing to let The Planet Federation view the production facility when we start production, as the weapons are currently in the design board. The prototypes of the weapons are expected to be constructed in five months. As for your concerns about the weapons reaching foreign hands. This fear is completely unreasoned, due to the Cottish policy of keeping our weapons close, meaning that we don't sell our weapon designs or weapons to anyone but our closest and most trusted allies (OOC: No Duke, you're not part of that tiny group of three nations. Sorry.). I hope that this satisfy your curiosity and ease your fears.

But the Federation asks that inspection and security advisor teams be sent to your nation to advise your nation on how to propery secure and store these types of wepons. I am certain that if you do some research (OOC: Click the link in my signature called "Imperial Cottish Armed Forces - Overview"), you would discover that we have been in posession of nuclear weapons for quite some time now. Therefore we know how to handle these kinds of munitions. Heck, our safety systems exceed those in service by the socalled "United States of America". So I am afraid that I must deny your inspectors to the silos. We are willing to show you the production facility though.
