The following Valiant 7 Battlecruisers have been sent as well:
Cosmic Dare, Beacon of Light, Fallen Angel, Risen Angel, Shadow II, Steel Feather II, Solar Flare II, No Reply II, Lead Hail II, Katana, Sudden Strike, and the RSF Airborne I

Admiral Ukan was sitting in the superstructure of the Command Ship of the 5th-8th Naval Armadas.

Captain Sercely: Sir, were are nearing the waters of Rioki. We have already transmissioned a message in to allow us to park our fleet in the nearby oceans for naval support to the infantry.

Ukan: Very well, Captain. Tell the boys to get ready. I want all the Transport ships to get into the shipyard and allow our boys to get onto their soil.

Captain Sercely: Very well, but we have to call and tell them.

Ukan: Okay, then go and do it. I want a full response in by 16:00 GMT.

Captain Sercely: Yes, Sir!

Captain Sercely left to go to the command room to call the Rioki officials to ask for premission to land the troops. Ukan stayed in his quarters thinking about the situation.

Ukan: How is it possible that such a small nation would threaten such a large nation? They obviously are crackpots if they are. They have ensured themselves total destruction.

Just then Captain Sercely came in.

Sercely: Sir, we have given the transmission. We expect a reply in 30 minutes or so.

Ukan: How can you predict that?

Sercely: Just guessing, Sir.

Ukan: Don't worry, I'm just fooling with you. But anyways you may report back to your quarters. Also intercom a message for all personal to get ready. Were in war now.

Sercely: Yes, Sir!

Sercely left the room leaving Ukan to think his strategy for the attack on the foolish nation that dare threaten a much stronger nation such as Rioki.

Rioki, we are small nations. our showing may seem poor but we stick to our ideals and give what we can. the others in the region have pledged there troops and will be sending them as soon as they can be mobilized (well as soon as they can get to a computer) In the spirit of honesty it must be told that we are all small nations. but small nations in groups can be as the soilder ant to the tiger, ripping bits and peaces of flesh till there is not left but bones.

Sercely: Sir, we have premission to dock our transport ships in Rioki harbor.

Ukan: Very well, tell the boys to get ready for docking.

A message was then sent on the intercom, "all troops from the 1st-4th Armies should get ready to dock with the harbor. Please stand by until further orders!"

The ST-2 and MT-2 ships started pulling away from the other troops. In just a half an hour they arrived at the harbor. They then slowly docked with the harbor.

Captain Yesle: Everyone, unboard and wait for further information.

Troops poured out of the transports quickly and swiftly. They all marched in an orderly fashion and were equipped fully as if they were entering a war zone. After all the troops had come out, the motorized and mechanized vehicles started coming out.

Captain Yesle: Sir, Ukan, we are currently unloading all the troops and vehicles. I expect all to come off of the transport in 2 hours.

Ukan: Very well, stand by until further orders.

Ukan then put down the phone to start preparing the fleet to lay anchor in the region.

"Good, if they still work be sure to have them activated. Cut them from regional system link and transfer control to us now regardless."

Serecly: Admiral Ukan, we have a report from Captain Yesle saying that all forces have been unloaded and are ready.

Ukan: Very well, they are no longer under our command but under General Nitz's command.

Sercely: Should I tell the transport ships to leave the harbor and return back to Space Union for more supplies?

Ukan: Yes, that would be the wisest thing as we no longer need them and the other men are being transported by other transports and through the air.

Sercely: Yes, Sir!

Sercely left the Captain's quarters to deliver the message to Space Union. All the soldiers and equipment were unloaded and ready to fight the aggressors.

Harbor: A meeting at the Headquarters where all the troops are present:

Yesle: Everyone, attention. We are now in a state of war. We are going to deployed to the outerrim of the Rioki border for action there. I want to tell you that you are now under General Nitz's command.

General Nitz: Welcome soldiers! We have a tough job ahead of us but I guarentee that we will leave victorious. We are planning to conduct Operation Trio. This will be a joint operation between Rioki, Egron, and Space Union troops. We are going to repulse any invaders from the aggressors. We will win.

Private Charles: Sir, once we beat back the forces of Octavius Paenite, what are we going to do?

Nitz: Currently we will just stay in the border and keep it a defensive war. But SUC (Space Union Congress) has given us the premission to launch a offensive against Octavius Paenite. We will then head to the capital and occupy it.

Private Charles: Do we have premission from Rioki to conduct that offensive?

Nitz: Currently we don't but if they say we will invade. I say this because I think most people in SUC know that Octavius Paenite won't give up if he is just defeated. We are going to occupy their country and install a more trustworthy and less warmongering government. But like I said, we will only do that if Rioki gives us the premission.

After conducting his speech, General Nitz left the podium and traveled back to base. All the other soldiers were aloud to leave the base to go shopping and do other stuff in Rioki as they please. It was the beginning of a new war.

The offensive on Octavius is a negative, we don't want to become the aggressor in this war. As long as we stay on the defensive the public will remain with us. No action will be taken offensively at this point, and hopefully won't be escalated to to such. No pre-emptive strike will be made either unless it is essential to the survival of Rioki.

For the orbital platforms I did contact the previous owner of Reformed Norway who assured me nothing happened to them prior to the extinction on his nation. Ducassi, you do not have the capabilites of a new nation for those weapons. I have decided as each side is getting nowhere but starting a cold war, that i will become a peace keeping force and withdraw my terrorists from Space Union. I also withdraw my supplies from octavious. Nightshadow 7 support fighters have been sent to provide support for The Silent Spring. The specified number is classified but has been taken note of.

The "Orca" helicopter carrier slowly moved towards the coast of Rioki, a large "UN" flag on its top mast. Several Sea Kings and fully loaded Apaches were set out on the deck, hundreds of Trolskian Special Forces units within the cabins below. A guided Missle cruiser, "Sparticus", was escorting, equiped with Katana conventional cruise missles. However, unanounced to Rioki, Trolsk had re-evaluated its military capabilities, and had also included one of its Nuclear powered Aircraft Carriers, containing "Skyline" VTOL aircraft, conventional Harriers, and a Chinok transport helicopter.

The klaxons in the ship wailed loudly as highly trained, and specially equiped, Special Forces soldiers rushed to the deck, boarding their designated helicopters. The Sea Kings readied their engines, the Apache's standing by to provide cover and support. The Guided missle cruiser slowly came to a stop beside the helicopter carrier, the Nuclear Aircraft Carrier "Kelvin" preparing its VTOL aircraft on the deck. All they needed was the signal to go from Rioki High Command, and begin the defence of the Nation.

He announces the his leader -RED-HEAD- has decided to join your alliance against Rioki because frankly he's bored and thinks it would be more fun to fight on the losing side. My new friends, I greatly apologize for it seems that I did not know my enemy. He is far more advanced than previously thought, and this is not likely to go well. The people and government of Rioki will hold nothing against you should you decide to leave upon noticing the moblization of Octavian air cruisers. They are far larger than anticipated.

I know however, that regardless of this threat, Riokian troops will fight to the end, Riokian citizens will stay loyal to their country and only by death will they go to a government giving them no freedom. It will be a hard battle, and many troops will die. Every one of those troops will go to battle knowing what they fight for, what they die for, the freedom of the oppressed, the right to an equal nation, and a peace extending to all those around them.

Although the battle may be short, we will give them hell. We will make them regret the day they invaded Rioki. When we fall, we will make them realize what folly they made in attacking our peaceful nation, we will make their military nothing more than soulless masses roaming the land searching for a reason for battle that was never there. We will tear into their morals, their ambitions, their lack of understanding until they have nothing left to live for but battle.

Again, Rioki understands what you may be feeling right now and we assure you our nation feels the same way. But no matter what you choose to do, we will not falter.

Across the country the massive police raids every house. Every man, women, and child are offered the choice- Go to war with Rioki and get paid in imported booze and cigs, work for one of the major slaveowning companies, or die. Naturally, 3 was not a popular option. The prisons were emptied and the slaves were bought up. The slaves, criminals, and "volunteers" were loaded onto rickty boats, along with booze and cigs.

The government passes a law that pays residents to have as many children as possible.

The Red Warriors comb the wasteland capturing wild blondes by the thousand. They are put in cages and boarded onto galleys. The Red Warriors procede to march toward the Riokian Border.

The many ships depart, heading for a location to redevous with the Red Warriors.

Note: (size of said soldiers is undetermined as of yet.... im still figuring that part out)

OOC: sinical you are a nation with a population of 10million you do not have the capabilities to build nuclear weapons, and even if you did you would promptly be assualted by both sides as you not specified who you are attacking with said nukes. If you wish to become involved in the conflict then read the stickies at the beginning of this forum. Then pursue more appropriate methods of war. "Head Princepts Maximus reporting, awaiting the Phyrexian cruisers.." the aged man spoke into the microbead, letting out a slow sigh. The entire Trolskian Titan Legio was ready, Three Emperor class Titans, two warlords and five Warhounds. Moving to large elevators, the slowly stopped at their stations, the platforms slowly carrying the god machines to the surface above. The titan Legio was all they really had to help stop the invasion of Rioki. They didn't really have that much else to spare from the current war with the Phyrexians...

OOC:Alrighty heres the numbers... 500 thousand wild blondes, 5 million Red Warriors, 250 thousand pegausi.... and 50 million mad miners.... outfitted with spears, bows, swords, and axes (+beer and cigs for the mad miners :D).... how do those number sound??? and about 300 thousand rickty not very good ships...

As one the red warriors open their contrations.... HANG GLIDERS/ PARACHUTES!!!!! As one they take off followed by the pegausi. Firing fire arrows at rioki's border guard they unfold the hang gliders.

Assigned as escorts to the Wildcats, Lightnings fly above the transports and engaging all intruders.

(the majority actually had parachutes they just had crap ones... and a lot didnt survive... ) The well equiped mad miners (6.5 million of them) floated down somewhat slowly flinging moltov cocktails and getting drunk to near blindness. in addition 11.5 million normal ones sped past them on their worse parachutes and they too flung moltov cocktails(.... i like fire.... :D ...) these mad miners (for the most part) were aimed at the land forces of rioki. All the other 12 million flew on crap parachutes toward the gathered navies... sitting ducks... moltov cocktails painted the sky a fiery red.

The fire arrows rain down upon rioki... the signal... Bars slide and wild blondes rush out toward the rioki troops like 500 thousand bullets. Armed with fangs claws and lack of clothes, they seek out the nearest male genitialia... You can't possibly own 2 million tanks even if you are leaning toward mechanized army. 2 million tanks would put your nation in serious economic problems and cause you to have a recession. Also how would you be able to maintain that many tanks?

Six million Inquisitorial Storm Troopers are HALO dropped (not the game Halo, you dunderhead! High Altitude Low Opening. Sneakily, simply put) into Riokian territory in an attempt to hit hard, and move fast. Following up will be 15 million Atkinsonian Riflemen, who are to support the Stormtroopers and hold any captured territory.

The standard organization of Stormtroopers is five man squads. Armor is a heavy weave of kevlar-like material with an underlayer of synthetic silk, and reinforced with ballistic plates. It covers the torso, shoulders, and thighs, and has a helmet. Each is equipped with the Purgator class combat shotgun. A semi auto rifle that shoot solid slug shotgun shells is an accurate description. Effective range of 100 yards is rather weak, but that's a small price to pay. It's mostly used for room clearing and assaults, and has a laser sight for that purpose. It has a mount for underslung weapons that has yet to be utilized. One man per squad has a Deserviabus Long Rifle with a scope and bipod.

Each Rifleman also has a Deserviabus. As the name suggests, it's a long rifle, and thus long ranged (effective range of 380 yards). Uses a slightly modified .223, lightened for less drop and more accuracy. Uses a rail mounting system that sits above the rifle for several additions, including support weapons. Per ten man Rifleman squad is a 25mm rocket propelled grenade launcher, a laser designator for several purposes (primarily missile guidance), as well as two members (or more) with scopes. The Riflemen are equipped with the same kevlar-like material as the heavier Stormtrooper armor, only less of it, and has a helmet. Standard tactics are to create a firing line, fairly spead out, and let the other guys have it (NOT the classical 'line em up, mow em down'!)

All soldiers are equipped with grenades (usually two apiece, often more) appropriate to the mission.

At least with the ground troops I'm only using about 16,000 men per divison. three thousand in the MED (Marine expedtionary unit) and only a thousand in an ari group. According to the calculator i can felid 4-5 million troops.

Mito Rioki stood up and walked towards the command consoles, watching the radar sweeps buzz with activity. "Finally. Get me Mech command, radio the Valiant 7s, it's time to move."

As the pods and cruisers drop from the sky, the Nighthawk 700 battle mechs open fire, raking the targets from the sky to the best of their ability. Nightshadow 7 support fighters streak through the morning light, raining fire on any drops they can get locked onto. As the battle begins, Valiant 7 Battle Cruisers emerge on the horizon, the previously deployed Cosmic Dare, Beacon of Light, Fallen Angel, Risen Angel, and Shadow II move into the battle scene.

The pods that reach the ground are promptly greeted by a hail of missiles from the H-10 Windshredder choppers, as the YF-14 Pulsar III Mechs fly from place to place fighting where need be.

As the blondes come charging at the Riokian Troops they stand mesmorized for awhile, until they realize the weapons they have in hand and the bloodthirsty looks on their faces. They open fire but there are too many and they fired too slowly, soldiers begin gripping their pelvises in pain and topple to the floor...50 Riokian troops are casterated.

The military stations all around Rioki blare to life, as more and more troops rush onto the battlefields...T-7 battletanks are deployed to meet any Octavian tanks that may reach the surface, 500 more Nightshadow 7 fighters are deployed, 80 thousand ground troops are now deployed and entrenched.

Ikioi stood on the deck of the RSF Airborne I. "I think it's time we begin the spec ops again..." In a remote region of Rioki Crossbow Supersonic troop Transport- Spec-ops Variant jets launch into the sky from the RSF Airborne I...


The Defense Platforms activate.

A hail of fire and explosions rain onto the castrated troops and reinforcements coming in. 200 dead (simply because the masses of people would have to throw over their own to reach my troops, so I estimate that only the first 10 lines or so can manage it). 100 newly deployed Nighthawk 700 Mechs open fire on the masses of wild blondes and mad miners using the following weapons each:

Octavius' Stormtroopers are armed slightly differently. While they wear the same armour, they carry Paenite Class Rifles. These fire in 3 shot bursts and have a 30 caliber round. They also have re-breathers, which help combat the extreme amount of exaust they would normally inhale, as well as being effective against most types of airborne chemicals. They also have bionic replacements to allow them to have targeters connected to their brain, and bionic replacements of limbs. They are designed for rapid relocation and seizure in a larger battlefield, while Walther's are designed for more close firefights.

The droppod screamed into the earth, throwing its passengers into the ground. Johonne pulled himself painfully to his feet as he looked around. The rest of his team was dead. All around him droppods were slamming into the ground, some in-tact, but many in shambles. He had fallen into the worst of the fighting. He quickly slung his rifle off his shoulder and took cover behind his ruined droppod. A few yards away from him another pod slammed into the ground, spraying him with rocks,. It opened and ten stormtroopers jumped out, guns blazing. They quickly began to advance, until suddenly they stopped dead in their tracks. They were mowed down by Mech fire a fraction of a second later. Johonne looked on in horror before gathering all the equipment he could salvage as a Vitaelis tank roared past. It fired wildly as the crew attempted to make sense of the chaos all around them. He screamed a battle cry before charging alongside the tank and his fellow soldiers...

From space to ground the battle raged. Fighters swarmed the skys, spacecraft locked each other in deadly duels, while infantry and tanks engaged the ground forces. Meanwhile, the Destroyers pummeled the ground with orbital strikes. Throughout the continuous runs the troops were finally able to establish a beachhead for later drops. This was not without loss though. Out of the 2 million storm troopers deployed, 300 thousand died. Out of the 200 thousand tanks, 26 thousand were found to be unfit for further service and decommisioned and sent back for scrap metal. 50 aircraft and 3 starships were also lost during the assault...

The insertion went without a hitch, and the Stormtroopers inserted before Riokian troops could be put on alert. Moving quickly and wasting no time they made for the border city near their deployment zone.

The bass rumble of the Riokian drop pods deploying both to join battle with Octavius and to defend their target hit the soldiers like a physical blow: They had brought no anti-armor weaponry.

The troops' wills smashed like a beaker on the science lab floor, they ran for the cover of the city. Though morose from such an oversight, they stuck to their training and made for the Riokian metropolis. Reinforcements would arrive soon and would take out the Mechs with their supporting fire. Sooner, they hoped, rather than later.

The laser designator design is rapidly modified to mount underneath all Purgator combat shotguns, but it is too late. The troops fate is sealed, and what will happen remains to be seen.

"Nightshadow patrols report incoming infantry sir, orders?"

"Send H-10 Windshredders to their location, we'll still hit them from the sky for now. Prepare infantry for enemy penetration, we won't be able to get them all from the air in time, they landed without being fired upon."

--Transmission and log of H-10 takeoff and engagement--

"HQ we have visual, engaging the enemy. TAKING FIRE, TAKING FIRE."

The mass of men below open fire on the H-10s, the shear amount of hits taking down the choppers.

"Raise altitude! We don't need to be that close!"

From 75 yards above the troops the H-10s bombard with everything they've got.

The Nightshadows continue shooting the drop-pods, and fly into the parachuting Miners and Blondes at speeds of 200+ MPH.

General Nitz sat in his chair. The war had begun but he hadn't been given order to engage. He and his troops were eager to engage the enemy and use all the new toys the Space Union military had been buying up. Just then a radio call came in. General Nitz picked up:

~Transmission~

"General Nitz, you hearby are given the order to help our ally, Rioki, defend himself against aggressors. Your job is to defeat and push back enemy forces and successfully establish a defensive shield. You may not take up the offensive across the border. That is an order.

To ensure you have the upmost power capabilities, we hearby promote you to Supreme Commander of Space Union Military in Rioki. You have all naval, air, ground, and special forces to your disposal. Use them wisely.

~End Transmission~

Nitz was shocked. For a couple of moments the room was uterly silent. Then Commander Nitz put on his uniform and sent out a message.

"All units at the border move to Tentai. All units at various installations move to Tentai. Now!"

Troops heard the message and began scrambling. Infantry picked up their weapons and armor and began leaving the bases in mass numbers. Squads reassembled and drove off. Tank crews got in their ST-29E1s, T-125s, and J-4s. Artillary men began getting into the trucks as they left for Tentai.

General Nitz saw the mass movement at his base. He knew that defending Tentai would be a great strategic victory. He would by no means lose it.

OOC: Can you provide me a map, Rioki? Thanks.

OOC: There really is no map...we were just going by RPing, I could take the time to draw one up though if you give me another day or so. I've been gone all weekend rock climbing so it'll be here sometime Monday...hopefully.

Johonne colapsed from exhaustion behind his sandbagged bunker. The pods had stopped falling over the battlefield, and the fighting had died down for the most part. The troops had established a beach-head and had started to fortify their position. Serevum Class Flak tanks took up position around the battlefield, and Aemos Class anti-armour tanks dug in for the long haul. Since the beach-head had been secured, a Viper Class and a Mars Pattern Titan had been dropped. Johonne looked on in awe as the massive machines lumbered across the fields. The techpriests said that they were embodiements of the Machine-God himself. He turned his attention back to the border where enemy troops had been massing with reinforcements had arrived. His bionically enhanced eyes zoomed in on the enemies encampment, it was well fortified, and it seemed that they were preparing for a counter assault. Next to him was the new squad assigned to him. His heavy weapon crew was setting up a Lascannon. The tripod was laid and the gunner plugged a wire into a specially made socket. He hoped that he would survive the next assault...

"They what!?" Octavius exclaimed. "Throne! How do you forget anti-armour weapons?!?" He had just learned of Walthers mistake and was rather distrought. "Well, make for them and connect our forces. We could benefit from some more ground soldiers as well."

Also, you really only know where one disk is...The Autumn..so you can only head towards that one Lumbering Disk.

"Wait untill it is in range of the Autumn, have them confirm, and if it's an enemy grouping...tell the Summer and Winter to give them a taste of our lovely little cannons..."

The starships drop from The Warp as close as they dared, trained their guns on the disk blow them, and opened fire with everything they had...

At Tentai:

General Nitz was sitting in his chair as he formulated a plan to defend Tentai. Suddenly Lit. General Yupim.

Yupim: Sir, we have secured the perimeter of the city with the 23rd, 76th, 90th, and 71st Infantry Regiments. We have also installed the 1st, 2nd, and 7th Tank Divisions in side the city. They are ready.

Nitz: Alright, Yupim, we currently estimate they are 20 miles from the city. When they attack, put up heavy resistance. As you do that, send in the 1st-5th Battalions of the 1st Tank Division, to pressure points where you see that cracks are forming in their line.

Nitz stepped back as he continued:

Nitz: Once you do that, call all your infantry to spread out and let a gap form. The enemy will take that gap but send the 2nd and 7th Tank Divisions straight into the gap. They'll repel the forces and start attacking from the middle and spread outward. As the forces come under siege from the front, I suspec they'll retreat and try to send in their reserves. To combat that, the spread infantry regiments, will come back and launch an offensive against the enemy line. If this works we will gain control of the area in a matter of days.

Yupim: Brilliant plan, sir!

Lit. General Yupim left the office as he got ready for the assult. General Nitz sat in his office getting ready to outline a strategy just incase all the other backup strategies failed.

OOC: Yeah...I tried to make a map but I can't come up with anything halfway decent so...

IC: All was quiet in the void of space around the Autumn, interrupted only by blasts of light from its firing. Suddenly the flight radars on the Nightshadow 7s and Imperial Scouts (no not from Star Wars) guarding the platform go wild.

"All units prepare to engage," filtered the crackled voice over the coms. "Get ready for a rough bout..."

The fighters sitting dead in space sprang to life as thrusters and consoles activated. They had just begun to intercept the Octavian fighters when Starships warped in above them.

"Imperial Scout team, keep on the fighters. Nightshadows, pull to the rear and engage the starships. Protect this platform."

"Windshredders, pull out, we've done enough damage for now. Refuel and re-equipp in the city and prepare to launch an assault on the Octavian base point."

Riokian mechs, tanks, and infantry are now fully deployed on the borders of Tentai.

--Rejected Realms Airspace--
The silence of flight in the Spec-Ops transport mimicked the silence of the team inside. Ikioi checked his equipment again, the laser sight on his pistol, the blade of his katana, the clip on his SMG. Other team members sat silently, absorbed in music as others whispered amongst each other while the paranoid checked and rechecked the schematics of the mission one last time. It sounded easy enough on paper, infiltrate and assassinate. Unfortunately it would be far harder than the briefing made it sound. Once they landed they would be cut off from the outside world to avoid detection. No intell, no coms, only the clock. They would be blind, and they only had thirty minutes upon reaching the LZ to carry out their job or the transports would be gone... A voice crackled over the intercom, "10 minutes to destination, raising altitude."

"Sir, the attackers have disengaged our forces and are falling back to the city. Casualty reports are due soon."

"Excellent. Are the reinforcements deployed?"

"Yes, sir."

"And the armor?"

"As we speak"

"Order the forces to continue with the assault. Tentai will make a great addition to our nation."

"Yes sir!"

Two million more Stormtroopers and five million more Riflemen have been deployed behind the advancing army. In addition, there are several missile artillery pieces, which take advantage of the laser designator many soldiers are equipped with. In addition, the lull in combat has been taken advantage of, and soldiers in the field have been refitted.

Now that there's a basis for a weapon to be mounted on the Purgator Shotgun, several new proposals for additional mounted weapons have been made. They'll not be ready for some time, but some are rather inventive...

OOC: (What casualties sound about right? Even something like fifty men per helicopter is pitifully small :-d )

General Nitz was watching anxiously from headquarters. So far the plan was getting ready. The infantry were spreading out and making a gap. The enemy foolishly had driven right into the gap. He knew that they had sealed their fate. As he listened to incoming reports, he dialed for Lit. General Yupim

Nitz: Yupim, now is the time. Send in the 2nd and 7th Armored Tank Divisions. Attack them full throatle. I'll send in the 1st-7th Armored Battalions to apply pressure on other areas.

Yupim: Sir....we're facing heavy....opposition! But I'll radio.......

Nitz could hear bullets wizzing, guns firing, rockets launching, and other sounds of the battlefield.

Nitz: Thats an order!

Nitz hung up the phone as he dialed Major General Trew. He was incharge of the Infantry Regiments.

Trew: Yes, sir! We've been spreading out as you've requested. They've started attacking through the gap.

Nitz: Very good. I'm sending in the 2nd and 7th Armored Divisions. Were launching a counteroffensive. Tell all your men to stop retreating and smash into their ranks.

Trew: Yes, Sir!

Batttlefield:

The soldiers were in position. It had been a long day of fighting. Space Union troops had been trying to stop the anslaught of incoming enemy soldiers, but they were retreating. But that's what they wanted the enemy to think.

Trew: Soldiers! Get ready. Were going to launch the offensive and win back this land.

The soldiers cheered. For the first time they would be able to actually fight.

The soldiers got their geer and packed up into their M-14s and other gear.

At 15:32 GMT, Space Union troops clashed with enemy troops.

Trew: All forces fight back. I want you to stop spreading and start concentrating. Once we break their lines we can expand inward.

The soldiers ran into battle. Frontline enemy soldiers attacked Space Union troops. SU troops dug into the hillside as they launched assortments of rockets, ammo, bullets, shells, and other shrapnels. But the frontline soldiers weren't wavering.

Trew: Don't worry men, they've been fighting all day. Were fresh still, lets see how good they do against us. Down with Dictatorship!

Trew yelled the chant as Space Union troops stepped up the assualt.

At Tank Army:

Lit. General Yupim was getting ready. He knew it was going to be a daring day. If they failed, they knew that all would be lost in that area.

Yupim: Soldier, is everyone ready?

The soldier stopped walking and then replyed:

"Yes, sir! We're ready for combat."

Yupim: Then tell them to start moving out.

As the alarm went off, soldiers poured into their tanks. The 2nd and 7th Divisions had 1,500 each of the T-125 Main Battle Tanks and ST-29 Main Battle Tanks. Yupim knew that the enemy would fall to superior fire power.

The tanks started pouring out of the area. Crews got ready for battle inside the compartments. It was a mass movement like no other. The tanks moved fast as they crossed out of the city. At 15:41 GMT, the tanks engaged. Infantry and armored support from the enemy had been trying to pour through the gap in the middle of the Infantry line. It was going to be a hard fight.

--Tentai--

The alarms sounded on board the Valiant 7s, the attack on Tentai had begun. Scouting ships now fueled and redeployed, the Valiant Class Battlecruisers made way to the battle ensuing between Atkinsonian troops and Space Union.

"We have visual commander, ready to fire."

"Fire at will."

The Cosmic Dare, Beacon of Light, Fallen Angel, Risen Angel, and Shadow II turn their gun pods towards the earth as the men inside them rake heavy fire upon Atkinsonian troops below. 60 YF-14 Pulsar III Mechs are deployed from the docking bays of the Cruisers (each carries twelve mechs without any other vehicles inside), which fly towards the frontlines to aid Space Union troops.

--Octavian Airspace--

"Altitude reached, drop point reached, prepare for departure in one minute."

Ikioi moved to the rear of the transport, fastening his gas mask and pressure suit. Ikioi prayed the sergeants on the other two transports were giving the same directions he was, no transmissions to anywhere were allowed now as to prevent interception.

"You've all read the briefing, we get in, do our job, and get out. Make this quick and efficient, I want every one of you coming out of this alive understood?"

"Sir yes sir!"

"Pressurizing cockpit, depressurizing personell bay." A low hiss sounded from the air escaping the bay and the ramp dropped.
"Drop proceeding in 5-4-3-2-1"

"GO GO GO!"

The team filtered out the back of the transport, Ikioi following behind into a thick layer of clouds. As he burst through the bottom he looked to his left and right, pleased to see that not only had the drop been on target, the other two teams had deployed in sync with them.

'So far so good...'

He watched as the teams landed on the roof of the Imperial Palace in accordance with Riokian jump training onto elevated targets, wait until 60 yards above to pull the shoot, disconnect at 5, and drop roll the rest of the way. Ikioi followed suit, shed his pressure and air gear, fasted the silencer to his SMG and pistol, and waited as the rest of the teams did the same...

OOC: Octavius he was shooting Walther's troops incoming on Tentai...not you...

At Biome Base:

It was a cold day. News had arrived in the headquarter of the battles at Tentai. Air Marshal Rqa stepped outside his office and began getting ready. The 5th and 9th Fighter Wings were going to be ordered to escort the 9th and 10th Bomber Wings. It was important that the enemy faced heavy resistance from the Air.

Rqa: Is everyone ready?!

Pilots: Yes, Sir!

Rqa: Today all of you will fight to the end to ensure the victory of Space Union at the Battle of Tentai. No matter what we will hold the skies.

Pilots: Yes, Sir!

Rqa: Very well, move out!

Pilots began rushing into their aircrafts as the base swung into full activity. Planes began lifting every minute to ensure fast deployment. Rqa watched knowing that this would have to be a success.

In the Air:

It was 15:41 GMT. The 5th and 9th Wings were escorting the 9th and 10th Bomber Wings to the battlefield. The pilots were tense as this was the first time they would be fighting in their career. It was important for them to win, they knew, though. At 15:49 GMT, the B-69 and UB-21 aircrafts launched their weapons. An assortment of the following:

OOC: (Ikioi... Umm, ninety feet isn't half the distance needed for a chute to open. They'd all be moosh right now if that's what they did. Not to mention that they fall another thirty feet right into the ground. That's, umm... three stories? Yeah, they've died twice now. Try a little abstraction; leave out the details lol.)

The commander spoke calmly but firmly into the field communicator.

"Use the reinforcements to shore up the line between our forces and Octavius'. Ready the artillery."

As much a surge of adrenaline as a sound, the roar of countless voices powers across the battlefield.

"For God and country!!"

The roiling flames illuminated the clouds of smoke created by the launching missiles. They race across the sky, ready to strike down anything.

"We need targets! Get marking!"

The wave of artillery rockets screech over the Atkinsonian troops before smashing into the foes of the Inquisition. Targets of opportunity suffer major hits, the missiles being guided to them by laser. Though the initial wave was by far the worst, a constant barrage is maintained by the large numbers of mobile artillery pieces.

"We have incoming fighters! Ready the surface to air batteries, and notify Octavian HQ!"

--Imperial Palace--

The three teams were ready, it was finally time to infiltrate. Removing a small, high powered laser from his pocket, a team member started working at a small section underneath them. Just before it was diconnected entirely, 4 other members used suction cups to prevent it from dropping inward, and moved it aside. They looked below to find a large mess of wires. The member with the laser got ready to cut again.

"Hold it!" whispered Ikioi harshly, "We don't want to cut off any possible wire feeds or power, it would create attention we don't need."

"Then what do you suggest Lieutenant?"

Ikioi looked about, walked to the edge of the building to a small balcony below. "There." Ikioi fastened his drop cable and began to repell down the wall, spraying for laser trips as he went. Upon reaching the balcony he motioned down three other members and again sprayed for lasers before opening the door. Finding some, he removed a powerful magnetic strip from his bag and activtated it near the laser emittion and reception points, frying and deactivating them. He opened the door into a massive hall at least 200 feet tall and motioned the rest of the team inside...

--Tentai Airspace, onboard the Beacon of Light--

A shockwave emitts throughout the Valiant 7 as missiles collide with it's hull.

"Report!" shouted captain Dax, stabilizing himself from the blast.

"Massive damage sir, hull critical! We have lost our main engines, going down. Defense laser emplacements 1-5, 10-18, and 21 down, both long range turrets inoperable, short range defense cannon down, gattling 1 down. We have 27 out of 40 escape pods operational."

"Did the mechs manage to deploy?"

"Yes sir, all of them."

"Good." The captain's voice filters over the Cruisers comms. "All available gunners stay in your emplacements. Everyone else, we are going down, please reach your nearest escape pods. Wait until they fill completely, no time for comfort. We need all possible personel to fit into those pods."

Dax stepped out onto the viewing dock to find the Cosmic Dare reaching a similar fate, although they will be able to make it back to base.

"Pilots, try to crash us on the enemy would you? At least what's left of us can do some damage..." He looked into the Riokian sky once more to see the beautiful silhouettes of the Steel Feather II, Solar Flare II, No Reply II, Lead Hail II, Katana, and Sudden Strike, the rest of the group originally sent to patrol, come into view. Excitededly, he relayed his plan to the remaining crew, leaning over the com transmitter.

"Listen up, all remaining gunners, concentrate all fire we can on anti-air emplacements. We're going to die anyway, might as well give a distraction. Pilots, keep us on the crash landing against the largest mass of anti-air emplacements we can find."

In response to Walther's report, Octavius has launced 60 gun cutters from its in-land base in Rioki. It also trains its Serevum Class Flak tanks on any aircraft that stray into range.

I cannot send any troops, but I can send two naval vessels to support Rioki.

A nuclear attack sub, and an experimental stealth destroyer that's almost invisable to radar and most arial/stalite photos.

The word had come. Johonne and his squad was one of four sent out on scout patrol. They were given specialized stealth gear, upgrades to their bionics, and silencers. They quickly loaded up their gear, got into their stealth-trans, and were shipped off. They were unloaded in a barren area east of the main battle-force, the other three went north, south, and west.

As they unloaded their transport they activated their stealth mode and advanced under the cover of darkness...

OOC: wow, i think weve kinda lost our steam...

OOC: No kidding. Let's all just go home.

OOC: Never, your heathen! You assassin! You, you, monster you!

OOC: Last I checked you're the attacker. Don't "heathen" or "monster" me.

Stukavian forces (primarily Mig-88B Sandies) shipped to the aid of Ducassi have arrived in this thearter. From now on, Ducassi is being reinforced by the Provincean Treaty, and any attacks against Ducassi will be considered hostile against Stukav and the 41 other nations under the Treaty.

Edit: Ryoki, feel free to attack other countries in order to defend your nation, I would do the same, but you are advised against attacking Ducassi.
