The Confederacy of Judge Manifesto
"As you can see from the map sir, I am growing in concern that the Sudanese people are becoming a sort of bartering tool for the warlords who govern that nation. Under the civil war which has been following their nation for over ten years already, I am increasingly worried that the governing powers either do not have the capabilities to prevent the Genocidal events from happening, or they do not have the intent. Under this situation, the people are increasingly suffering, shown in the latest refugee figures. Sir, with all due respect, but if nobody acts now I fear the worst for Sudan. That they will go so far that it will be a people of no return. This is a worst case scenario."
Minister for Defense, Michael Reichburg was a convincing man. Already, the Judge had been aware of what had been an increasing occurance amongst the Sudanese people and had been pondering the Confederate's position on the matter. Yes, most definatly now after such a speech given he could not refuse to send troops to Sudan to at least help restore some kind of order. It would be a long mission however, one greater than he could expect to achieve within a matter of weeks. In fact, it could last several years given the militant nature of the people there. Sudan would mean a long occupation, but in the end if he could bring some kind of order to the gravity of politics, it would certainly be worth it. Initiating a change besides, was the job of a leader such as Judge Manifesto. The people would most definately support his position, lest they forget the history of their own ansestors. The nation had once been somewhat similar to Sudan, except much more industrialised. Since it had been itemised particularly as a Confederacy under the leadership of Judge Manifesto, it had prospered greatly.

"... And it is my firm belief that the governing powers of Sudan are no longer interested in the overall welfare of the people, nor are they interested in recieving outsider's help. There is overwhelming evidence being presented to you as I speak, on the screen behind me, that the people of Sudan being persecuted for their personal attempts at civil freedom, and political voice, particularly in the regional area known as Darfur. Make no mistake, we will stop at no cost. Our troops have been training for battle, and are already familiar with environments such as the Republic of Sudan. We will remove the wasted insurgents from bearing power over the people, and we will endeavour to also implement a more people-oriented government. It is only when the stability of Sudan is restored to its former glory, that the nation and people alike can move forward in progression, and become a worthy member of the international community again. This is what I stand for."
Walking away from the microphones, the conference was most evidently finished. Reporters and Journalists alike understood this, yet they continued to shout last minute questions to Judge Manifesto alike. Still, his refusal to answer questions stood like an Iron Wall, and it was assumed that the nature of the mission would go ahead. It was only a matter of time before words be put into action.
OOC: Okay, this is an Open Roleplay for anyone to join, however I will refuse to accept or recognise any claims to Sudan. I only recognise Sudan as a non-player country, and will post on their behalf to make an effective RP. People may take the position that they wish, but this is a serious RP, not one where I want three liner posts or OOC comments flooding it. OOC comments can be done in a quick TG, and if I get a few I will create an OOC thread to go along with it. Thankyou.
