The Roycelandian High Commission in Port Moresby is still awaiting news of the fate of famous Anthropologist Dr. Jim Larson, held captive by the savage Masapequa Tribe of the New Guinea Highlands.

Dr. Larson was leading an expedition searching for the Lost Mines of Aroo, and had come across a Masapequan village.

What happened next is unclear, but according to eyewitness reports, the Masapequan Chief introduced his daughter to Dr. Larson, saying "This is my only daughter- isn't she lovely? We wish to offer you the night with her."

Dr. Larson, alas, was not fluent in Masapequan and mis-interpreted the Chief's greeting as "I would consider it a great honour if you were to make loud braying noises and then pretend to be violently sick at my feet".

An expedition has been despatched to find Dr. Larson, and William Hill are currently taking bets of 3:2 that the expedition will find Dr. Larson being boiled alive in a big cauldron while Natives with Spears dance around singing...
