Official Invite from the Aequatian Ministry of Defence to any and all Foreign Military Officials interested in attending the demonstration of the Aequatian Army's newly-developed Main Battle Tank, Mark V or "Predator". Since the MBT, Mark I "Dragon" has finally entered full service, designs for a new generation of armoured fighting vehicle were tested and only the "Predator" MBT pulled through all of the tests with flying colours.

The demonstration will include a maneuverability test with a run through a circuit, a gunnery test which will pit the tank's 135mm gun against several different targets and a final test will include a test of the vehicle's Shield Electro-Optical Countermeasures Defensive Aids Suite with the firing of anti-tank guided missiles at the vehicle itself.

Cadillac-Gage:

66,800 kilograms = 147,267 pounds

One Track Area = 80cm across X 250cm long = 28,000cm squared
One Track Area = 31.5in across X 98.4in long = 3,100in squared
2x Tracks = 6,200in squared
2x Tracks = 56,000cm squared

Ground-Pressure = 66,800kg/56,000cm squared = 1.19kg/cm squared
Ground-Pressure = 147,267lbs./6,200in squared = 23.75psi

Did it up in both Metric and Imperial, since I'm such a nice guy.

Greater Valia: The representative from your Ministry of War is welcome to attend the demonstration, although the tank is not yet for sale to nations other than the Aequatian Republic at the moment.

Rheingua: We welcome the representatives from Rheingua, Colonel Zielgelzen and his assistants to the demonstration. As for the target suggestion, we would either need to transport one from your nation or construct one with designs from your military on the proving grounds.

We'lll have to pass on it, then- much over 9 PSI and equipment bogs in the summertime in Cadillac-Gage, at least, outside the mountains. Our military is limited to a maximum GP on off-road combat vehicles of 10 PSI to prevent miring.

Well... at this time, we're stuck using an up-gunned light tank (what some would term an "Armoured Gun System"), we're in the market for an MBT that can handle drives across muskeg, this means a very low ground-pressure and armed with something in the 120mm class that can handle APSDS(T) ammunition. Most of our terrain would be generously termed 'difficult' for most MBT designs. Testing with vehicles in the 55 to 70 ton range has revealed an unfortunate tendency to bog-and-bottom during the spring, summer, and early fall months. The tanks we have are not particularly well-protected, and top out at 105mm main-guns. Armour=Weight, ground-pressure can be reduced at the track-plates, but that means a wider profile, and even with "Soft-Recoil" mounting, there's an upper limit to main-gun design. There is a strong preference for high-mobility(Speed) as well-being able to manuever is more effective if you can manuever faster than dismounted infantry.
