Chikugo Class Destroyer DD-115
The Chikugo Class destroyer is Shizuoka Shipyard's latest masterpiece. It sports a stealthy design, and features the MDH drive system, making it quieter and overall, superior to traditional boilers and screws.
Powerplant: 2 Mitsubishi MagnetoHydroDynamic MHD10 Generators w/ High Capacity Fuel Cells

Displacement: 5,500 tons
Speed: 38+ knots
Aircraft: 1- SH-60CJ anti-submarine helicopter (optional, only used on modified)

Ryukyu class Arsenal/Missile Defense

The Ryukyu class ship was designed as an all or nothing ship. Either it would be equipped for an offensive role, or to provide defensive cover for the rest of the fleet. The ship design was rushed, and the result was a somewhat smaller ship than most other nation's. However, this allows it to be produced quickly and in larger numbers. Currently, the Nihon Rikujo is planning a 4:1 ratio of defensive:offensive enabled ships.
