"You know, Shaku, we;ve grown quite close over the years, wouldn't you agree?"

"Come to think of it, Jordan, I don't believe I've ever been anywhere outside of Green Sun without you nearby."

"Funny how that works, doesn't it?"

"Hmm."

Jordan looked around. His mother was gossiping with some Risbanian govermental official, Yillik was hitting on some women very successfully it seemed, and Earnest was telling one of his stories from when he was a renegade experiment done by the United States Goverment. Shaku let out a deep sigh.

"Don't sigh too deeply Shaku someone might think you're real."

"Why do I have to be here if I can't partake in the festivities?"

"They think you're an advanced robot, Shaku. For all they know you could be the smartest sentient thing in the universe. Now go have fun. Go tell someone about your religion or something, just don't be suspicious."

"All right, but I don't feel somfortable around strange humans."

"I feel uncomfortable being around nonhumans. Now go make someone else uncomfortable."

Shaku wandered off to find something to do. A waiter walked by with a tray of Champagne on it. Jordan took a glass, sniffed it, and took a sip. It tasted awefull to him. He held his nose and drank down the rest of the drink. He stuck out his tongue in disgust. He looked around adn spotted their own butler serving a president of another nation.

"Jenkins!"

"Yeees?"

"Please go out to the limo and retrieve the Peach Cider. I can't stand this alcahol."

"Very good, sir."

Jordan turned around and bumped into someone. He lost his balance and fell on his bottom, as did the other person.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there!"

Lady Andromeda Lesath shrieked lightly as she fell to the ground. She blinked, attempting to realize what had just happened. "Oh... Quite alright," she said, eyeing Jordan. "Oh! You're the Prince of Green Sun, aren't you?"

Lady Andromeda Lesath had curly black hair that fell to her mid-back. She stood at 5'5, and was fairly thin. Her eyes were an odd silver color; the 'trademark' of the Lesath bloodline.
She was the cousin of Sargas Caecus Lesath, one of the most powerful and influential men in the Risban Imperium, and a close friend to the Emperor.


((Yeah, I know. Crappy post. But I've got a lot to do. Heh))

"Of course. I look like a lot of people in Green Sun with the gray hair and tall build, it's an ancient strand of Russian genetics, very rare, it's only reappeared during the 1960's. Most people recognize me by my sharp green eyes."

Jordan stood up and offered the lady a hand.

"My family is very sociable. It's a shame my sister isn't here, she'd have a ball."

"Who says I'm NOT here?" his sister voice erupted. It seemed the whole party stopped except for his grandfather Earnest, who was laughing at his loudest. He noticed people weren't staring at him so he knew something was wrong. He turned and noticed Princess Heidi. She was wearing a gorgeous green dress and wearing her green tiara. She was tall, a bit muscular, and had a large bust and a nice butt. She looked like her mother only with her father's gray hair and just all-around taller. She was named the most beautiful woman in Green Sun. She was also named the woman with the most spunk.

"Well, what are you all staring at? Keep partying!"

Lady Andromeda blinked, slightly confused, and took Jordan's hand to help her up. She smiled. "Thankyou," she said before turning to Heidi. "I am glad to see that you are alright. I had read in the news that you were kidnapped or something...?"



Sargas Caecus Lesath walked over, his ceremonial robe billowing at his quick pace. He came to a stop before the heirs of the Green Sun royal family and his own cousin, smiling. "Ah, Prince Jordan and Princess Heidi. Andromeda here isn't bothering you, is she?"
Sargas smirked at his younger cousin before looking back at the Prince and Princess. "How are you two enjoying the festivities thus far?"

"To be frank, sir, it's boring. Just a fancy-shmancy. Is there anything to do here? Do you have a soccer field or something? That way I can call my team who're in Roach-Busters and they can be here in a few hours and we can have Green Sun's best against Risban's best," Jordan said. He looked at Lady Andromeda.
"And she hasn't bothered me one bit, I just wasn't paying attention to where I was going. By the way, Jenkins is bringing in some Peach Cider. Green Sun prides itelf in our Peach Cider and it's pretty much our replacement for alcahol."
Jordan kept on talking about Green Sun's fancies and their culture. Heidi turned to Lady Andromeda and said,
"Yes, I'm Princess Heidi. And indeed I was kidnapped while celebrating the good General of Roach-Busters' adoption of his new child. Green Sun deployed forces to find me soon after and I just arrived. I've come to make sure Jordan doesn't twist his ankle again."
"That's not funny!"

Sargas chuckled at the Green Sun prince's comments. "Fancy-shmancy, hm? Hahaha. Don't worry. There are games planned. At the moment, however, Emperor Scorpius must greet all the delegates and guests. As for soccer... Hm.. I am sure that the Risban City Scorpions, our local football team, would be more than willing to play later on."
Lady Andromeda smirked. "The Scorpions are the best in the region, you know. The only ones to ever come close to defeating them were the Flans, but that's because they cheated."
The elder Lesath rolled his eyes, sticking his tongue out as his cousin before looking back at the Prince and Princess. "I'll go arrange something with the Minister of Sports and Recreation. Meanwhile, enjoy the party... Mingle with people," he said. And, with that, he was off.

Lady Andromeda turned to Princess Heidi as Sargas strolled off. "Well, I'm glad you're safe. Emperor Scorpius and James Ormiv, his former press secretary, were kidnapped during the Lucas Rebellion... James was shot and killed, and we're lucky the emperor wasn't hurt as well. Such a terrible thing, war. It's a pity they can't be settled in stadiums."

Sargas chuckled at the Green Sun prince's comments. "Fancy-shmancy, hm? Hahaha. Don't worry. There are games planned. At the moment, however, Emperor Scorpius must greet all the delegates and guests. "Jordan tries to do his best to make it so. General Homer loves his country, but he loves battle even more. They're so alike those two, but they love different kinds of battle," Heidi commented.

Jordan laughed at her comment.
"They may be goot, but they haven't played Gravball yet. My team runs fourteen miles every practice, and they double as our main soccer team. We haven't lost a bout in our region yet."
Jordan picked two glasses of fine Peach cider and handed it to Lady Andromeda.
"Drink up. My grandfather made this batch when he was very young. We were able to store it and now it's the finest in the world."
He sippedthe glass, savoring every bit.

Lady Andromeda took the glass, smiling. "Thankyou," she said, taking a sip. She grinned. "My, this is good... You should talk to Minister Thrantir about exporting this stuff to Risban."
She took another sip, smiling. Lady Lesath glanced around, looking over at the Emperor entertaining some odd-looking people in robes. Druids, probably. She continued looking around, seeing Minister Perkins lead in some more delegates.
Then, she heard the fireworks from outside. "Ooo. Fireworks," she said, grinning at Jordan. "Want to go watch them? Sometimes they do great designs."

"Oh, of course! I love fireworks! We don't have many in Green Sun, many stores just don't sell them."

"He did WHAT to the President? Are you serious? AND a reporter and his crew? That's it. He's going down. Yes, I know it'll be hard. I don't know, find a way for him to piss off Roach-Busters or something! I want General Homer DEAD! DEAD DO YOU HEAR ME? LAUNCH THE FUCKING ARCHERS IF YOU HAVE TO! Yes I'm giving you permission to fire at our own troops! They killed our fucking president! They're not our soldiers if their first loyalty is to the military! Facists, too? Oh, Muhammad's soul...We're going to need a lot of help..." Empress Natasha closed he cell phone and started to cry. When she was done, she announced the very terrible news.
"Riots have sprung up in Green Sun. General Homer sent riot squads to stop them. Someone threw a grenade and a new group of Nazis attacked the squads. Shortly after General Homer declared Martial Law and killed the President. Green Sun has collapsed into another civil war. Why? Why, Allah, WHY?"
She started to cry again.
"Excuse me a minute," Jordan said to Lady Andromeda. He made his way through the crowd and made his way to Scorpious.
"Sir, Green Sun desperately needs your help. I don't want to spoil your party, but Risban does have troops in Green Sun. And it also seems that the only loyal trrops of ours is stationed here in Risban. I would like to call a meeting with your advisors and Generals, and possibly you. I'm terribly sorry about all this, Scorpious, I truly am. This is to be your night of absolute hapiness and I don't want to spoil it."

Julia Ormiv, the press secretary, groaned as she watched Natasha's small outburst. This was going to be all over the tabloids tomorrow. She instantly began working on several statements.

Alexander Perkins stumbled slightly as he was leading President Warden inside, witnessing the turn of events. He paled slightly. Not only would this jeopardize Risbanian business in Green Sun and endanger citizens there, but it was either annoying or worrying the group of international leaders assembled in the room. The headaches never ended...
"Erm, this way, Mr. President," he said, continuing to lead Warden and his family towards the High Throne.

Emperor Scorpius frowned, his expression nearly unreadable. He looked at the Druids and bowed his head apologetically. "If you would please excuse me. Risban has interests and friends all over the world that must be looked after," he explained. "My wife will answer any questions if you have any. Thankyou for coming."
The emperor leaned over to Nora. "I'll be back soon. I just need to gather the Ministries of War and Defence together. I won't take too long," he whispered. He gave his wife a small kiss on the cheek and then descended from the Place of the High Throne. "If all members of the Green Sun Delegation would please follow me... Jordan, you stay here. Julia would be most angry if photographers got a picture of absolutely none of the Green Sun Royal Family at the party, and you seemed to be enjoying your conversation with Andro. Have fun."
And with that, Scorpius exited via a back hallway, followed by the Minister of War, Defence, and Intelligence, as well as the Green Sun Delegation.

((Only the Royal Family is there, plus Shaku. Yillik is the only General in Risban that's still loyal to Green Sun, so he'd be the only one^^))
The only person that followed was General Yillik Kort. The confused ministers looked at each other, wondering why there was only one Green Sun representitive.
"General Homer has destroyed the entire Executive section of our Goverment. He hasn't taken out the Imperial or the Theocratic sections because they're all here in Risban. I highly suggest that you put Risban on high alert, sir. General Homer knows what he's doing."

He threw a holographic projector on the table.
"This is what we've been able to scrounge up from our loyal satellites, those that haven't been hacked by the Nazis or the good General. My men have been able to contact the Socialist Front. They've always been loyal to Green Sun, so they'll be our only allies that we know of at this point. I've given them orders to capture the Fire Bases and use them against the Military and the other factions. Once we can land forces back on Green Sun, we'll be able to route the rest of them out," Yillik started. He highlighted several points on the map, some blue and some red.
"The blue ones are Fire Bases. We don't know what their status is, but the Socialists will try their best to capture these for us. The red ones are my main concern."
Yillik fidgeted.
"Those are our Archer Missiles. They're as powerful as a nuclear warhead, but they don't have the enviromental effects like nukes. I told the Commies to either destroy them outright or capture and use all they can. UziCorp's doing their best to shut them down."
Yellow dots popped up on the map.
"These are where we can get ahold of local militias taht haven't already allied themselves with one side of this fight. UziCorp owns a lot o this land, so they can use their propeganda techniques to rally them to arms for us or to form their own army. UziCorp built almost all of our military. They can supply them with arms."
Yillik turned off the projector.
"Green Sun only has two fleets at this time. One here in Risban and one that headed for Risban from Roach-Busters. RB's being assaulted by Anti-RB forces that were once Green Suns'. I've requested that UziCorp rescue our last face of stable politics in Green Sun."
"And who is that?"
"George Double-You Bush."

"I can't believe this is happening," Jordan said, putting his face in his palms, "My nation is being assaulted by our own citizens and one of my friends. And to top it off the closest thing to a stable leader outside of a Monopoly is a man many regard as purely incompetent. President Uziel knew otherwise when he gave him protection, but what will the International community think?"
He felt the soothing touch of Lady Andromeda rub on his back.
"I can't think about that right now...We're here to celebrate one of my family's closest friends and his new bride."
Jordan got up and raised his glass.
"Well, despite the very tragic news, and despite his not being here, let's toast to the Emperor and his new bride!"
Jordan raised his glass of Peach Cider. The crowd shouted with him, "Hoorah! Hoorah! Hoorah!" and the festivities and teh general mood increased.
"Now it's time for the reporters," Jordan said confidently to Lady Andromeda.

They entered the Command Centre Situation Room, where a large rectangular table made of glass and steel rested. Emperor Scorpius took a seat at the head.

3. Grand Admiral Eric Tarda, Minister of Naval Affairs
4. Myles Abrahms, Minister of Intelligence, Prometheus Agency Head

6. Duke Robert Kramer, High Magistrate and Minister of Justice
7. Marcus Janus, Deputy-Director of Intelligence
8. Lady Alexandria O'Bannan, Ambassador to Green Sun
9. Lord Richard Gaius Zorag, Minister of Industry
10. Senator Cassius Crato, member of the Imperial Senate

The leaders sat silently as General Yillik gave his report. Zorag eyed the holoprojector greedily, thinking of the fortune he could make with the technology.
Once the briefing was finished, General Skops spoke.
"And what do you want us to do? Mobilise troops?" asked the Grand General. "General Homer has expressed interest in keeping Imperial citizens safe. He knows very well what happens when a nation attacks the Grand Imperium. Muru was a perfect example."
Lord Zorag nodded. "Yes, yes... And it would be costly. This will be the third time this year that the Imperial Army has prepared to deploy."
Defence Minister McBone sat forward. "It would be a good idea to highten security," he said. "Yellow alert, perhaps. Have the border patrols and fleets on the watch."
Lady O'Bannan glared at Zorag and Skops. "Turn our backs on the people of Green Sun when they have helped us so much in the past? We must reinstate the Royal Family."
Senator Cato scowled. "And break half a century of Imperial peace by invading a land that has not wronged Imperial citizens with a full army? Absurd! Parliament would not approve."
"Last I checked, Senator Cato, you are a representative of the Senate, not Parliament," countered Lady O'Bannan with a glare.

"Silence, all of you," said Emperor Scorpius, standing. "Here is what we shall do. We will open our borders to Green Sun Loyalist Refugees. We shall be placed under yellow alert. The fourth and seventh fleets will move to Fort Risban in Green Sun and stand by. They will be there to protect our citizens and Green Sun Loyalists. We will pour funding into any organization opposing the socialists, communists, and fascists. Our first priority will be to stop them from seizing control of the government. If they do, I will activate all forces and we will invade. Until then, we shall be on alert. Minister Abrams, you get special forces ready to handle intelligence and recon. Also, have our dear friends in Prometheus start compromising various threats to the Green Sun Royal Family."

"And General Homer?" inquired Abrahms with a frown. "To assasinate him would be-"
"No. If we assasinate him then the civil war in Green Sun will be nothing but utter chaos; a blood bath. He lives until the other factors are removed," said the Emperor.

Yillik cleared his voice.
"General Homer means the best for Green Sun. We can actually use him. Now, as much as I don't want to do this, we may not have a choice but to let him take power. He controls most of the entire military. The Facists need to be killed, Green Sun has enough of the Nazis. I fear if Roach-Busters gets involved they'll attack the Socialists, but one of their former citizens was pubicly killed. There goes their political influence in Green Sun. I'll do my best to contact Homer. He shouldn't be too hard. If we can convince him to just do his job and let the Green Sun Citizens to elect a new leader, we'll let him off. But I've got a feeling that this won't end well."
He looked at the hologram. He pulled out another one and tossed it to Zorag.
"I saw you eyeing my map. They're not that hard to make at all, I'm surprised Risban doesn't have at least more primitive ones."

An aid ran into the room, bowing to Scorpius. "M'lord, we have just received word that the Green Sun Nazis have joined with a great number of militias and raiding several armories," she said. "They are attacking an UziCorp nuclear silo as we speak."

"My God," said Admiral Tarda, eyes widening. "They're turning themselves into an army. If they continue to grow and gain control of nuclear weapons and Archer missiles, there is no telling what danger they would pose. They could destroy Green Sun's capital and then put a stop to any nation wishing to invade with minimal casualties."
"We need to move in troops now," said Ambassador O'Bannan sternly. "With so much chaos, neither the Green Sun Loyalists nor Homer will be able to keep control with the Nazis gaining so much power."
"We could just nuke 'em," muttered General Skops.
"And kill thousands of innocent people? Absurd," responded O'Bannan.


Lord Zorag pocketed the hologram. "Entering such a conflict could be useful for our automotive and arms manufacturing industries, and allow us to test some new toys and battle strategies."

Marcus Janus, Deputy Director of Intelligence, walked in. "We have reports of odd objects off of our own borders. Intelligence says they're friendly. They register with ONI Concordiat."
"Leave them be then," said Abrahms. "They may be useful later."

"Emperor Scorpius, we need an answer," said General Skops. "Will we invade or won't we?"

The Emperor sat still for several minutes, thinking. Finally, he answered. "Senator Crato, inform Parliament that I am declaring a state of war. Admiral Tarda, General Skops... Have forces ready for deployment. They will be entering Green Sun tomorrow and countering the Nazi threats. I'll have Minister Perkins and Julia write up some statements to gain public support," he said, sighing. "But, for now, I have a party to get to."

"Well, the only major threat the Nazis have now if just the Archer Silo and teh Nuclear Resctor, which are both being attacked. But this is too soon," Yillik said, "We have to stay ever vigilant. Anyways, we shoudl focus on Hoemr now. We've got him right where we want him. I can get ahold of UziCorp and get them to hack Homer's Archers to prevent him from shooting them at Risban's navy. He's not very happy about all of this, so we can't take any chances."

As the Emperor rejoined his party, Princess Heidi was organizing a dance-game invented in Green Sun and is very popular in large parties. She was explaining the rules and teh music it was played to.

"This dance is called Queen of Hearts. Very simple game, but it's very fun. We dance to a modified version of Heart's "Queen of Hearts". The men and women stand in a single-file line facing the opposite gender. The couple at one end dance down the isle as the music plays in whatever style they'd like. When it announces a Queen and which suit she is, she picks a 'King' and then it mentions the Joker she picks a Joker and the Joker's 'Crush'. The winner of the whole game is the Queen of Hearts. When the Joker, the Crush, and the Monarchs are announced they leave the dance and give the dancers a blessing at the end. Are we ready?"
